Read Before You Approach Me

ೃ★︎ ⟶ FOR PLOTTING. i would prefer if you came to me with a plot in mind, and i will try and do the same. plotting is usually not too hard for me to do, but sometimes i can get quite stumped. winging is fine, but i am still quite new to it so it can blind-side me a bit ghjfd.

ೃ★︎ ⟶ TIME ZONE & PACE. my timezone is gmt8. know that i am very not active with replies lol. i have bouts of intense writer’s block and low muse, so i might “ghost” our thread for some time, but i will try and let you know when that happens. please just poke me politely and respectfully if it has been over a week since you responded, and i will let you know how i am doing (this poke won’t make me reply, just remind me that i have to let you know how i am doing).

know that i might be active in the chat or responding to other threads does not mean i am ignoring our thread or you. sometimes it’s just how it is, and i will not be mad at you for doing the same.

ೃ★︎ ⟶ & DATING. i am 22 years old ooc. however, i am uncomfortable to with people i have never done a plot before with or someone i don’t know well. if we have ted before or our characters are dating, i will be okay with it.

i do not rp large age gaps between faceclaims (not ic age, faceclaim age). generally, my characters do not have romantic connections characters that are over 4 years younger and 4 years older, unless they are over 25 then it will be 6 years older. for this character (heejin, 23), i will not create romantic connections with anyone under the age of 20 (rp age min limit) and over the age of 27. we can certainly still do platonic or familial plots (or enemies/rivals etc), or do one-sided romances/puppy love on the younger muses' part, but it will not be endgame and the older muse will not reciprocate. please respect this.

ೃ★︎ ⟶ WRITING STYLE. i tend to get a little carried away with writing so my replies might be a little long. i like to reply in 3rd pov paragraph style and only do script in chat. i might write a lot but you don’t have to mirror the length, but some effort should be applied to the reply, of course. i am more than happy to do starters, especially if i have a good idea on how to start, but please don’t expect me to do it every time, especially if it doesn’t make sense for me to start.

ೃ★︎ ⟶ GENRE LIMITS. with genres, i’m very flexible, i don’t mind plotting out fluff, angst, even romance, but i will not plot out a pwp plot with you. if our non-pwp plot has in it, i will ask you to skip over the scene or speak about it in passing. please refer to above as to why.

ೃ★︎ ⟶ LOCATION. i don’t really mind where our threads are, walls, pms, or rooms. i would prefer rooms just to keep the rp active and getting us both some points, but i really don’t mind wherever.

ೃ★︎ ⟶ BIG NO-NOS. i don't rp things like , , ia, non-con/dub-con, and other taboo subjects of the like. i prefer to stay out of infidelity plots (unless we are close and talk it out a lot beforehand).

The Story

Part I

✦ heejin was born as a species of were-rabbits that had a small civilization deep within the forests. heejin and her family had no special status by any means, but worked to make medicines for the village. heejin had become very knowledgeable of all the plants around the forest and would fetch them alongside her siblings and father to get them for making the medicine.
    ✧ by the time heejin was born, her parents were quite old, so heejin had gotten used to taking care of them alongside her siblings. most of the time heejin would be home taking care of her mother and father, while her siblings went out to play with their friends or would go looking for herbs. heejin wasn’t aware of what it was like to be by herself.

✦ when heejin became old enough, she would go on her own, looking for herbs and medicinal plants to bring back for her family.

✦ one day, she saw a wounded man laying on the ground. with little care for her own danger, she went to see if he was okay.

✦ he told her, in a very weak and hurt voice, that he was a soldier who was escaping a war. he had walked for countless days and was so tired and hungry he wasn’t sure if he would make it. heejin tried to patch up his wounds with what she had on hand, but he wouldn’t be able to heal the wounds if he had no food or water.
    ✧ she never found herself to be someone of a lot of use. other than doing basic tasks here and there, remembering plant types, she was quite clumsy. a lot of the time she wouldn’t be allowed to go out because of how clumsy she was with finding the herbs. she didn’t know what she could do.

✦ heejin wasn’t allowed to bring humans into the village, but she had to do something. she carried the man on her shoulders and entered the village as discreetly as she could, hiding the man away behind their house. there, she would tend to his wounds and give him food and water. he told her that he was a prince. heejin was fascinated with speaking to him, and became inspired to be noble like he was. heejin doesn’t have much memory of what he truly looked like. all she remembers is the face of a jackal.

✦ of course, the operation was found out as soon as the prince left. as punishment for heejin, the village would execute heejin’s parents and siblings and keep her imprisoned.

✦ on the day of the execution, she sacrificed herself, throwing herself to the flames to hopefully set things right. the fire burned her,  but she did not die. her body went to smoke and she was granted eternal life on the moon for her kindness to both the prince and for her family.
    ✧ she watched as she ascended to the heavens, listening to her father and mother cry for her to come back.  maybe she made a mistake. she has no idea whether they lived or died after that.
    ✧ heejin thinks a lot about that prince. was he who he truly said he was? who was he? what did he really do for her? a lot of her memories are faded about their encounters. in a way, heejin wishes for him to be the prince very badly so she can have a hope to hold onto, and someone to idolize.

moon rabbit

✦ heejin didn’t want to be on the moon. she would look longingly back on earth as she would tend to her burns that did not heal despite her attempts with foreign plant materials she didn’t know. the people of the moon weren’t so cordial with her, but were able to give her some answers.
    ✧ the prince was, in fact, a prince. kind of. he was the prince of all gods, who was leaving a battle with wounds, where they all fought for power. he took the image of a jackal so as to not alert life around him of his celestial being. he was able to leave heejin’s village to retake the seat as king of the gods, ending the war. he gave her a spot in the moon, closest to the heavens, to gift her with the power of immortality, to be akin to the gods. however, because heejin’s village did not worship the gods, her family was not spared and they were executed.

✦ devastated, heejin was able to be friends with only one person: the princess, kaguya. the two mourned over their lost lives and those they had to leave behind. the two became very close.

✦ that was not the last of heejin’s problems on the moon. all humans were created by the moon people with the favour of the gods, to create weak mortal beings in their likeness. however, their numbers greatly overshadowed the people of the moon, and they waged war against them. they were upset of the moon’s interference with their technology and politics, upset with their creators for all of the evil experiments they were enacting on them. many people died, but heejin was able to escape to leave to another dimension, but she had to leave her friend, kaguya behind.

Part II

heejin rabbit

✦ somehow, she ended up in the town of fable town. she was given the name “jeon heejin”, much unlike her original name.

✦  unsure of what to do to get by in this world, heejin tried to use whatever skills she had to get by. she had none. she was able to get a place to live above a small cafe owned by a an older chinese woman who sold horrible baked goods and even more horrible coffee. heejin, with the promise of helping to take care of her with her knowledge of traditional medicine and care, she was able to take over the operations for the bakery and splits the profits to herself and later soojung and with the woman. heejin doesn’t get a lot of money from the cafe herself, but it is fulfilling enough for her to feel like she is truly able to do something. she is grateful for the old woman but she feels bogged down by the amount of stress she puts herself under as she does not let soojung know.
