sion, the youngest child born into an influential family, had the privilege of growing up in a wealthy environment in gangnam. his mother, a famed actress, and his father, a famed composer and producer, had occassionally featured their children on television, garnering widespread admiration for their three handsome sons. while it was expected that they would follow in their parents' footsteps to become celebrities, much to the public's disappointment, sion's brothers chose different paths, attending prestigious universities and pursuing careers as a film director and technology ceo, respectively. initially aspiring to become a professional hockey player, sion had excelled in the sport and established himself as a talented athlete. however, he was casted by the entertainment agency when he accompanied a friend to an audition for moral support. the staff roped sion into performing a song on the spot where round after round, he found himself signed as a trainee. he trained for three years, working diligently at perfecting his skills and coming out with promising results. at the age of twenty, he debuted to widespread adoration, becoming a beloved figure and the envy of many. (the gap in his career was a result of his military service)
