Many years ago, Kangjoon lived near a small village where he had decided to protect and aid his abilities. He continued to shower that village over the passing years, and one day, he fell deeply in love with a human from the village. With his good deeds, he was rewarded with a Yeouiju and could descend to the heavens to become a full dragon. He didn't want to leave the village, mainly his lover being the reason, so he stayed as his new descended form, only for things to change soon enough.

 

The humans had found out about Kangjoon becoming a dragon, and selfishly, they wanted the Yeouiju for themselves, thinking it would grant them powers or wealth, even immortality. The villagers had reeled his partner into their plans and tricked Kangjoon into an ambush where he was attacked by a mob of greedy humans. At that moment, he was angry and betrayed, especially since his lover was part of the scheme. Blinded by his rage, he destroyed the village, leaving nothing but rummage behind.  His full dragon form was short-lived after committing a bad deed; he had lost his Yeouiju and was an Imugi once again, one who had learned to hate and never trust humans or others in general.

 

Kangjoon is good with playing along and putting up walls from letting anyone close to his heart.  Has bottled up anger.....may snap if pushed to his limits.
