Choi Serim is comes from a family with loving parents and older sister who supports her no matter what career is as long it's not anything illegal. She started out as a child actress in supporting roles since she didn't like being part of the main role just to ease the pressure until she reached middle school where she ended up disappearing quietly from the screens to focus on her studies. One day, her older sister Seyoung encouraged Serim to audition in Gravity Entertainment just to give try it before she managed to get in. Unfortunately, she end up having asthma issues after she had trouble breathing during dance class. The doctor told her if she continues to risk her lungs, then it will affect her health. She ends up leaving Gravity Entertainment to focus on her health. Now, she is now working at I.V.E.R. (La Vien En Rose) Entertainment as one of their makeup artists.
