Growing up a quiet and shy child, Jongwon is still learning to come out of his shell day by day. He realizes just how much he had missed out in life, opportunities & friendships alike, by choosing to often keep to himself most of the time. Joining the matchmaking show is one of the steps he had taken to bet his luck on romance, a rather dull department in his twenty nine years of life. Too many years were spent on simply surviving each day, taking on many odd jobs to support himself and his little sister. His hard work proved to be fruitful when he finally settled as a waiter in a fine dining restaurant, where he learned more about wine. It’s now been a good five years since then, and he’s worked his way up slowly in different restaurants, now an upcoming, reputable sommelier in the city.

Though an introvert and used to struggle with social anxiety, he had gotten a lot better in communicating with others. He may keep asking questions because of his curious nature and to keep conversations going, genuine when it comes to getting to know others. His social battery sometimes still run out too quickly more than he likes though.
