hello, and welcome! i've been rping for about 6/7 years, so i definitely now what i like. i prefer supernatural/fantasy!au's, and will mostly lean towards 3rd pov but detailed 1st pov is great as well. i only do male characters and and if in a relationship it has to be strictly (sorry, but it's my preference). i'm very friendly and wouldn't mind random ppl adding me if they want to rp with me! although, if the plot gets boring or isn't my cup of tea, i will have to drop it. i can only do 2-3 pm rp's at a time since i'm a full time college student and have 3 jobs (ikr? am i trying to kill myself???) anyways, i mainly play huang zitao as an incubus. you can find his simple/in-depth profile at the bottom, but i'll make up a character on the spot for a particular rp if inspired. thanks for reading and let's talk!
Plots related to Zitao:
- plot 1: One day, on Muse Zitao's on his way home, they come across Muse B lying in the middle of the road. They appear hurt, but are unresponsive when Zitao tries to rouse them. Not having a phone on them to call an ambulance, Zitao carries Muse B the short distance back to their home and tries to revive them. After several minutes of rest, Muse B awakens with the most excruciating scream of pain. They jolt up, and immediately start drawing sigils on the walls of Zitao home with their own blood. Ztao demands that Muse B stop and explain themselves. Muse B removes their shirt, revealing where their angel wings have been clipped and states they used to be part of God’s Army. Is this all a plan to set Zitao up or is Muse B telling the truth? (0/2)
- plot 2: Zitao has grown to love nature. Even though he lives in an urban area, he finds the time to walk to the local park every day and spend a few quiet moments enjoying the greenery and animals around them. He always relaxes on the same wooden bench and lately has been noticing the animals seem to have grown accustomed to his presence. In particular one beautiful, curious crow. It keeps its distance, but always appears so intelligent and sharp, watching intently with its ebony eyes. Zitao finds it quite interesting. One day, he brings a small bag of trail mix as an offering to his new feathered friend. The crow caws happily and devours the assortment of raisins and nuts. The a few days later, he returns with a snack and the crow is there, this time with a shiny twist of metal in its beak. When the treats are scattered along the ground, the bird drops the paperclip - a gift - at Zitao's feet. This ritual exchange carries on until one day, the crow doesn’t show. Zitao is...disheartened, but grows resigned of the disappearance of the crow. Muse B appears, seemingly out of nowhere and sits down on the wooden bench beside Zitao. Wordlessly, Muse B hands Zitao a small metal trinket, a perfect addition to Zitao’s collection. Is the gesture enough to reveal the truth about Muse B? The shapeshifter had been their crow companion the entire time.
- plot 3: While driving home on a quiet backstreet, Zitao spots a wounded animal on the side of the road. Having an, unfortunate, soft spot for suffering creatures, Zitao pulls over and scoops the animal up into the backseat of their car. He drives home with the good intention of nursing the animal back to health, unaware that the animal (Muse B) is really a shapeshifter. After making a comfortable place for Muse B to sleep, Zitao heads off to bed. By morning, Muse B is feeling a bit better and they shift back into their human form just as Zitao enters the room to check up on them. Muse B tries their best to explain what’s going on to Zitao, hoping not to frighten him (although Zitao has encountered numerous shapeshifters in his lifetime). According to shapeshifter law, Muse B now owes Zitao their loyalty and must stay with him until the debt is repaid.
Additional plots unrelated to Zitao:
- plot 1: Muse A is coming of age in their magical family. On their 18th birthday, they learn what element (water, air, earth, or fire) they have been gifted with. Muse A has been under the impression and hope that they will have inherited the same element that their parents and grandparents have been blessed with, however they come to discover that they have been bestowed with the opposite element. According to rules set forth in the family’s grimoire, Muse A must learn to master their gift from a witch/warlock who possesses the same elemental power as they do. Muse B, who has the same element as Muse A, becomes Muse A’s reluctant mentor. Muse B is brilliant and powerful, but lacks in the department of manners and compassion, especially when Muse A shows difficulty harnessing their new abilities. Muse B is condescending and impatient often without provocation. One day, Muse A meets their wit’s end with Muse B’s treatment and they demand to know why Muse B is so hostile toward them. Muse B reveals that they come from rival families and they are only teaching Muse A due to the terms of a 1,000 year old truce. Once Muse A has mastered their gift, however, the ceasefire will be over. And the families will once again be at odds.
- plot 2: Muse A is distracted when an out-of-breath Muse B takes a seat by them on the train. When they finally glance over at their seat companion 2 stops later, they catch sight of smeared blood on Muse B’s fingers/clothes. Muse B signals for Muse A to keep quiet then and they calmly lean over to inform Muse A that they’re going to need their help getting away because they’ve just committed a crime.
- plot 3: Muse A is on a flight to finally meet up with their long-distance lover (Muse B) for the first time. Too nervous to focus on anything else, they start talking to Muse C, who’s sitting beside them, to distract themselves. Muse C turns out to be a really cool person and there’s an attraction between them that’s totally unexpected. When the plane lands, Muse A is conflicted about parting from Muse C and the feeling is mutual. So they exchange information and go their separate ways. Later that evening, they have an unexpected reunion at Muse B’s home. It isn’t until that moment that Muse A realizes that Muse B and Muse C are related.
- plot 4: Muse A (barely out of college) meets Muse B (several years their senior) by chance when they jump into the same cab together during the morning rush. They quickly decide to share the cab and engage in small talk on the way to their destinations, which happen to be on the same side of town. Conversation flows easily and there is a definite physical attraction between the two strangers. When the ride is over for Muse A, Muse B generously offers to pay the whole fare. In exchange and somewhat on a whim, Muse A offers Muse B their phone number and the pair make plans to meet up sometime soon. Despite their age difference, Muse A and Muse B have a whirlwind courtship. They laugh over the things they don’t have in common and eagerly introduce each other to what’s popular for their generation: Atari vs PS4, Vinyls vs MP3. They spend every possible moment they can spare with one another. After several weeks, Muse A and Muse B make their relationship official. Muse A invites Muse B to a special dinner at which Muse B will be introduced to Muse A’s parents. When Muse B arrives and Muse A’s mother/father turns around to greet them, they’re stunned to come face-to-face with their same-age business associate/boss.
