i'm currently only interested in 1x1! i prefer using ocs/an au setting - faceclaims with their own names and backstories. mature/ual themes require some character chemistry first! (unless it's a plot that requires it, sans feelings.)

i'm not a huge fan of the "literate/illiterate/etc" scaling bc i'm autistic and can't understand the vast variation in how individual people use them lol. i can safely say that i'll write anywhere between 1 and 4 paragraphs, situation-depending. i don't expect matching, i just expect your replies to have quality to them - is it at least a handful of sentences? does it help move the scene forward or at least give me something to work with? then it's good!!

i don't like a yes man or someone that just expects me to follow their lead. i want both of us collaborating and i want both of our characters to grow and get something out of a scenario. please communicate with me any plans you have and i'll gladly do that same.

i can't guarantee extremely quick replies (maybe one or two a day!) as i have a couple of jobs and other hobbies that i enjoy too

genres:

city au: just you regular ol', run of the mill city au. lots of opportunity for unique character building within the nonmagical, but still limitless possibilities of real life

urban fantasy/supernatural: city au with a magical or scifi twist that informs the narrative and/or characters. angels and demons, vampires and werewolves, a fairy realm living parallel to Earth, cybords and co. living among humans, etc.

historical au: silla era, joseon era, regency era, tudor era, gilded era, etc. sometimes historically accurate, and sometimes not! i like taking liberties where necessary to craft a more fun narrative for us. can be royalty, can be commoners, or the peerage in between - or any combination.

historical fantasy: as above, but i'm particularly partial to vaugely middle ages settings where a magical wall separates the human and fae folk lol.
