This is Telesity.
It's beautiful, isn't it? It hasn't shone this brightly in years. Completely isolated from any other region or city-state in the world, Telesity is a global symbol of self-reliance and independence. It is self-goverened by a wise "g'mayor" and the trustworthy Council of Gentlemen, maintained by the cutting-edge RiUclones, and guarded by the mysterious aliens known as Trusted Adults.
Unfortunately, Telesity has a dark side.
A highway divides the area into two unamed quadrants. On one side of the bridge, live the wealthy, the regal, the law-abiding citizens of Telesity. On the other...
...live the miserable.
Oh the dirty side of town, there is a building with the words "SPECIAL DAN'S ASYLUM FOR THE SUPERNATURALLY INSANE" painted above the foggy glass door. It's a tall place, easily seven or eight stories, with gritty windows and peeling gray paint. Special Dan's is the rug that Telesity's unpleasantries are tucked under. Special Dan's is where the screams come from at night, and nobody cares to ask why. And Special Dan's where you will end up if you place your trust in the wrong people.
