The night was a typical rainy night. The cars passing by quickly either heading home, going out, or heading to work. People were hurryng about crossing the streets and passing by quickly on the sidewalks. The rain beating down hard an hour ago had finally began to let up just abit. Sitting near a building indian style, shrouded by a long cloak with the hood pulled up was a youngish looking woman. This woman however seemed very different from the rest. This woman was not human though her vessil was that of a human. Her long dark crimpy brown hair flowing down to the middle of her back was pulled back into a bun except for a few strands falled down from under the hood.
The people walking by would not be able to tell if she were human or unhuman as they were mortals. Only those not of the human race could tell her apart. She sat, normal like a homeless man or woman looking happily content with herself. Her sharp blue eyes flickering as she watched those passing by her. She was on alert, ready to move incase she heard the need for help or felt threaten by someone walking close to her. After a while however, her eyes began to close and she seemed to drift off to a happy place.
