Welcome to Andarta, The city of glass or the city of crystal spires. So named for the skyscrapers and their windowed Sides that glisten in the light, it is a shining beacon of civilization in the new world, or so it would seem. similar in many ways to New York City, Andarta is a sprawling metropolis with a history hundreds of years old.
Like many towns and cities before, Andarta has seen its ups and downs. The population and economy boomed, first because of its access to major waterways and then again several times as industry adapted and changed. Looking at its districts, it is easy to tell that Andarta had experienced growing pains. New sections rose up, older ones were neglected, advanced buildings were erected over the foundations of some of the previous neighborhoods while others were left to rot, and always the people were forced to try and cope in the place they called home.

In this city, much like any other of a certain size, there are groups and factions that vie for power and control. Forces for good and evil alike have a stake in the welfare of andarta and are constantly fighting each other to shape it how they see fit. Criminal families and organizations face off against the more lawful and moral citizens on a nearly daily basis, often disturbing the lives of those who just want a peaceful existence. People of extraordinary talents and abilities are tapped to champion a myriad of causes, so what will you do?
As a new day dawns in Andarta, you find yourself in the city trying to make your way. Who are you though? Are you a hero of some kind that uses their talents for good, a villain who only cares about their own agenda, or maybe something in between? Maybe you don't have any real powers or abilities at all and are just trying to stay out of the crossfire. No matter which course you head down, it is all your choice if you have the courage to make it.
Come in and enter the city to decide your destiny, maybe even the fate of Andarta itself.

001. Favorite is a must! Upvote is greatly appreciated. 002. This is an AU roleplay, you are not an idol unless your character is one for their occupation but we urge you to be more creative than that. 003. No ooc drama. ic drama is fine as long as everyone involved agrees. and torture are acceptable if all parties consent bu character death is not allowed. No facechasing or selective replies either. If we find out you are being biased as an rper then you will be removed. Please give everyone a chance at your time. 004. One character per person now with a possibility at more later and we allow and encourage international faceclaims. 005. All ualities welcomed but please keep in mind the heterouals. Also remember that getting a boyfriend/Girlfriend is not the sole purpose of the rp. Pregnancy is allowed but no mrpeg or the other thing where a girl gets another girl pregnant. I know this is a fiction based rp but let's be realistic as well. Besides, there is always adoption. 006. Each character with powers must have an origin (more about that in the application) that explains how they got their powers, whether they know about it or not, and a flaw (Again, more about that in application). We want complex characters, no mary sues or Gary stus because no person is perfect. All those with powers choose one main power and two secondary ones to start. More can be purchased with points later on but please make it believable why your character would have that ability. Humans don't have to worry about any of this but please don't make them perfect either. 007. All povs are allowed but no one-liners. All posts for points must be at least 50 words. For roleplayers who routinely write more, the admins will compensate you for your effort with extra points because we appreciate it. 008. is to be kept in a few special rooms (Marked with an asterisk), PM, and Walls. All Rooms will be rated m just to avoid any censorship.
