Here's how it works. Your name is clled you stand on the Gordian Knot. If the Horned Serpent wants you the crystal in its head lights up. If the Wampus wants you it roars. If the Pukwudgie wants to it raises its arrow. If the Thunderbird wants you it flaps its wings. If more than one house wants you you are left to pick your house. Then after you get your house you are paired with a wand. this si different from Hogwarts where you come with a wand already. Oh yeah and the colors are blue and cranberry.
