Several centuries ago, there was a bloody war that broke out between the Lights and the Darks. Both parties wanted the entire country to themselves but neither gave in. The killing of lives and destroying of properties lasted for centuries since they are each other’s weakness. Light creatures are mostly composed of immortals that specialize in spells and intellectual aspect, while the Dark ones relied on their physical prowess, but it didn’t mean that they don’t have the brains; hell, they are very tricky and mischievous that even the most intelligent creatures (including the mind readers) of the Lights sometimes cannot figure out what the Darks were planning. The elements of Air and Water were controlled by the North; the South, on the other hand, was blessed with the elements of Earth and Fire.

But then, during the last period of the war, the leader/king of both lands decided that this has got to stop. Therefore, Choi Siwon, Light’s reigning king, and Tan Hangeng, Dark’s current king, signed a treaty to end the war and regain peace in the country. The North division will be owned and controlled by the Light creatures, while the South will be manipulated by the Dark creatures in any way that they want. They will not meddle in whatever event that will happen in the other’s land. Still, their people are allowed to trade and interact with each other to maintain peace and unity.
However, love and relationship between the Dark and the Light is forbidden.
