Constructed right in the heart of Incheon, Sowon University was established in 1906 by a man named Lee Jinsuk, the first principal of the school. The university started out humble, with only fifty students graduating the first year, but over time has grown into one of the most renowned collegiate institutes throughout Asia. Well-known for its fine calibre of professors and its demand for only the best of the best, the university has since become one of the most sought-after and pined-for colleges for the past thirty years. Only those who have great potential are accepted into the prestigious university, and scholarships are only handed out to those who are outstanding. It is no wonder that a great number of successful leaders are alumni of the university.
