welcome to we're going down down baby, or BABY for short! we're a produce 101 style roleplay!

premise ❤ ?

sbs has jumped on the 'produce 101' bandwagon as well, except this time they're producing two groups; one girl group and one boy group of nine people each. after seeing the success of produce 101 seasons 1 and 2, trainees are bursting at the seams to join the program. will you be one of the lucky nine boys or nine girls that debut this year?

rules ❤ .

one. please favorite this roleplay before applying; upvotes are appreciated but not necessary.
two. please be respectful and drama-free ooc.
three. posts should be at least 5 sentences long for ic posts. (please make an effort!)
four. missions will be given out every week to simulate produce 101 missions. please do your best to complete them with your groups.
five. all orientations are allowed. east asian fc's only, for the sake of program legitimacy.
six. no limit but points on characters - 2nd is free, 3rd is 250 pts, 4th is 500 pts, 5th is 1000 pts (double previous), so on.
seven. characters can date, despite what tv stations would like you to believe. marriage/pregnancy is out for now though, there's a limit as to what could happen and it'd be a likely abortion if a child was even conceived due to the nature of the program.
eight. that said, dating ban is 3 days.
nine. password is the second word of this roleplay's full name.
ten. inactivity appears after 5 days; you will get one warning and one day to remove inactivity if you're a trainee. you will get two warnings and three days to remove inactivity if you're a seoulite.
eleven. 3rd person pov only!
twelve. reservations last for 48 hours.
thirteen. the application is located in rules.
fourteen. please DO NOT apply if you anticipate not being able to commit for the full roleplay as detailed below!

you might be wondering - how will this roleplay work?

as a trainee - after applying, you will be able to roleplay with other members. PLEASE COMMIT TO THE ROLEPLAY AS DETAILED BELOW! for the first week or so (12/29-1/6), members will be free to roleplay however they like. for every week after that, on the Saturday night before the next week (1/6 for the first one), a mission will be posted, along with groups the mission must be performed in, in the announcements board. these missions must be completed for the next week in order for the member to be continuously considered for the debuting position. every Monday after the first mission week (1/15 for the first one) is elimination day, where the number of trainees in the running for debut will be reduced by a tbd %. eliminated members may still roleplay in other boards, just not the program related rooms, obviously.

how does elimination work? every week after the first mission week, Saturday through Monday at 10AM CST, (1/13-1/15 for the first one) members of the roleplay can PM me their 1-9 girls and 1-9 boys. first place of each will get 2 points, others will get 1 point. people who aren't members of the roleplay (AND members of the roleplay) can submit their one top choice through a survey that will be posted in the announcements on Saturday, along with the mission of the week.

as a seoulite - after applying, you'll be able to roleplay with other members in areas that aren't the filming locations. you do not need to be as committed to the roleplay, seeing as there will be no weekly missions. however, for elimination weeks, you can still pm your top 1-9 girls and 1-9 boys, as a member of the roleplay, your vote will count slightly more than others. thanks for reading! ❤
