It was a later afternoon, about 6:30 PM on a November day while Itoh Taneko was outside walking her dog when suddenly she saw a book labeled Death Note just laying around in her parent's front yard "weird book" she said while looking around to see if anyone was looking. After investigation and debate she picked it up and looked around inside for a moment "huh...assumed it would be some form of an edgy notebook, but this is kinda pushing it" she said and picked up her dog. Afterward she walked inside, took the leash off of the dog and walked into her room. She then followed the instructions and wrote the name of some person at her school that she deemed useless to society, trying to play along with this whole thing. The kid was named Thomas Watson, was a convicted fellon, had dated many middle schoolers while being a sophomore in high school, he was incredibly dumb and was usually trying to hit on her. "Maybe this will work, I probably wouldn't lose too much sleep if not but it probably won't" she said with a giggle to herself at the concept and put it in a drawr in her desk, afterward she went and played a few matches of Quake Live while listening to Mellow Gold by Beck from her record player.
