Ever heard of Atlantis? Chances are that you have. The famous lost city sent to the bottom of the Atlantic for displeasing the gods or the home of Aquaman and Namor (depending on whether you believe DC or Marvel) has captured the imaginations of millions of people for centuries, but what is it really? Numerous expeditions and investigations have tried to discover the exact locations and failed, leaving the majority of humankind to believe it is nothing more than a myth. The truth… well, that’s even stranger than any fiction.
Some 21,000 years ago (that’s right, three zeroes) the advanced city which served as the hub for all creatures of supernatural origin decided to remove themselves from the face of the earth and thus humanity’s reach. For the first and possibly last time, the inhabitants were in agreement and worked together to perform such an impressive task. In less than a year, they managed to lift the entire island out of the water, erect an impenetrable barrier, turn it invisible, and partially shift it between realms in order to fully hide themselves. Now, the only way into Atlantis is to be born there or brought in by one of the residents.
Atlantis now is a bustling, hi-tech city full of every supernatural creature imaginable as well as the steady population of humans who chose to remain. Self-reliant and completely independent from the rest of the world, it is the bastion and sanctuary for anyone who simply wants to get away from it all. Like everywhere else though, sometimes the residents do need a bit of help getting to know one another and finding true companionship. What is eternity if you have to walk it alone? Well, Atlantis Ever After is the new dating service and app trying to help these creatures find meaningful connections.

2. This is an AU roleplay set in a fictional universe, your character is not the same person as the faceclaim you have chosen to use.
3. No OOC drama, IC drama is good as long as everyone involved agreed.
4. No facechasing or selective replies either. If we find you are being biased as a roleplayer then you will be removed after a warning. Even after you are matched you should talk to more than your partner. Please give everyone a chance at your time.
5. NO GODMODING!
6. One character per person, two with an upvote. All living adult persons regardless of nationality, orientation and ethnicity are accepted.
7. Pregnancy is allowed with admin approval but not mpreg or pregnancy without the involvement of a male in some fashion.
8. No crack. This is at least a semi-serious roleplay and crack can ruin the atmosphere and mood. You will be given one warning before removal. PW is Jigglypuff
9. 18+ content should be kept in mature rooms, on walls or in pms. If it can’t be shown on tv then it shouldn’t be in the main chat so please keep it clean.
10. This is a matchmaking roleplay. Moving couples are not accepted and people not looking to be matched should probably not join. We are trying to create a nice, healthy community here where players can interact with one another peacefully.
11.PM an admin if you are leaving or need a hiatus. Inactivity is set to 7 days.
