let's get some basics down: the name is cel, 2002 liner, identify by they/he pronouns, uses we/i to refer ourselves interchangeably, and our timezone is gmt+8.

with all that said and done, welcome to the clear snow workshop! whatever brought you here, whether you're a regular or a newcomer, we thank you for sparing a glance at our modest layout gallery. we hope you enjoy your stay and that you'll leave with something you like and can use. 

we've been coding for 4 years now. on the 29th of april 2020, we opened a coding test thread to store all the techniques we've learned and try coding ourselves. what was supposed to be a private thread quickly caught public's attention when we forgot to leave it on draft one day (we still have no clue how that happened). through the insistence and encouragement of friends who saw the thread, we finally gathered the courage to open this layout gallery.

our muses vary, ranging from k-pop to anime to whatever our latest fixations are. we'd like to think that we don't have a style, as we're always experimenting new concepts and designs. sometimes we look at references to code our layout around, and sometimes we just draw whatever we have on our mind and work around it.

if you've read this far, congratulations! you now know a bit more about us and this layout gallery. we won't waste any more of your time and just redirect you to the rules and guidelines. 

1. the good ol' favourite the thread before using any of our layouts. upvotes are greatly appreciated. this helps us know that our efforts are valued and helps you return to our gallery for more layouts in the future. 
2. leave a comment below if you're using any of the layouts. write the name of the layout you're planning to use. this lets us know that our designs are being used and also provides us ideas on what kind of layouts users like. 
3. do not touch the credits in any way, shape or form. please. we worked hard on the layouts and would appreciate it if you don't remove our efforts. you may change the colour of the font as you see fit, but if you make it light grey to white, we'll take it as you trying to erase our efforts. 
4. if you find anyone using our layouts without proper credits, please let us know through pms. 
5. edit the colours, pictures, aesthetics of the layouts to your heart's content. go wild. 
6. if you have any troubles editing or understanding a layout code, do not hesitate to reach out through pms. we are more than happy to explain and help where we can. 
7. if you want to use our layouts as references or bases, please comment the layout you're using for this endeavour and clarify that you'll be using it as a base or reference. please leave the credits visible afterwards. 
8. you're more than welcomed to use our layouts as learning experiences to experiment on coding. if you have inquiries on certain aspects, feel free to reach out through pms. we're happy to impart whatever we know and have learned. 
9. if any of our layouts look similar to yours, we'd like to apologise first and foremost. you may reach out to us through pms to resolve the issue, though we ask you to please not question our integrity. we do look for inspirations when designing our layouts, but we try to be original with our ideas.
10. it should not be said: failure to follow any of the stated rules will result in us reaching out to you through pms to resolve the issue. if we cannot meet eye-to-eye, we will promptly block you and blacklist your username. if we find out that you have alternate accounts, we will also blacklist those usernames.
