In the woods illuminated with a cerulean light, there stands a Will o’Wisp. Dancing with its peers, carefully you shall tread through the forest to follow the wisps that lead you to a clearing. Crimson adorns the trees, the lights are now cast in an everlasting gold. There is music in the air, sweet treats to marvel and awe the tongue, laughter to spark joy within the smallest individual.

Welcome to Cirque Des Étolies run by the mistress of the former ringmaster. It is here where one can see the stars above from the clearing where it is forever and always night. Come see the spectacles of glorious wonder and curiosity: take for example our beasts who can take winged flight within an instant; our sword swallower who fancies the taste of his own blood; or maybe you’re here for other matters at hand? Whatever you’re here for: the Cirque Des Étolies has it all.

Guests are free to come and go as they please through the circus by following the path set out by the will o’wisps. Just remember to wear your masks. Else you bear the risk of becoming a part of the circus, unable to part from the eternal reverie.

two ╱ Considering the dark themes of this rp, this rp is rated m. m means mature. i will not moderate or nit-pick through every plotline of yours, it is your responsibility to do so. please put a trigger warning if your plot calls for it.

four ╱ IC drama is highly encouraged. Even recommended. But if you do not feel comfortable with the idea of drama and angst, you're also free to rp whatever you like so long as you continue to still abide by the rules.

eight ╱ This is a supernatural/fantasy au. There are humans, vampires, werewolves, fairies, faeries, you can be whatever kind of creature or supernatural being you like. So long as you remember to always respect the cultures of which your creatures hail from.

nine ╱ You are given three characters right off the bat. in order to get more characters, you must upvote and show that you have at least one thread that has at least 3 replies from you.

ten ╱ most importantly: have fun. this is a place where people can be free to write whatever they want.
