The plot is very simple!
It's normal that adventures go into dungeons to clear tasks for money. You would come across a listing that deals with the forbidden forest, many have spoken against letting new adventurers to enter or even take up that task for how dangerous it was considered. You would hear what they told you but you chose to ignore their warnings and go ahead anyway.
