The Islands of Althea

Looking for a place to live away from the evils
of the regular world? Tired of being
bullied because you aren't human or
because you're a human who is kind
to supernaturals?  Then welcome to the islands of althea. A safe haven
for supernaturals and the humans who
support them. If you have good intentions
and the mist allows you through,
Kim Taehyung will gladly greet you with
a warm smile.

THE HISTORY OF ALTHEA:

Since the beginning of time humans
and supernaturals have had
trouble cohabitating and getting along.
there were many deaths on both sides as
both races fought to be the dominant one.
2,000 years ago one of the few human men
that supported and liked
supernaturals; gathered together three
other men to help him build a safe haven
for supernaturals and the humans
who befriended or fell in love with them.
These men were the heads of the 4
wealthiest human families in the world.
After many weeks of research, they found
a group of abandoned islands big enough
to build a safe society for their
supernatural friends and a few friendly
humans. They purchased the islands and
began building bridges to connect the islands
to the biggest one that lie in the center.
With the help of many supernatural species
they made each island compatible for
different types of supernaturals to
cohabitate with others as well as humans.
They then went to a ancient dragon and
asked if there was a way to protect the
islands . The dragon agreed to help them if
they signed the islands over to him and with
the help of a very powerful sorcerer,
a high level demon, the queen of the fae,
and a high level angel they used a very
ancient, very strong form of magic to seal
off the island with a mist that prevented
anyone with ill intent towards the
inhabitants. This magic seal and the
mist it created cannot be deceived by even
the strongest of supernatural creatures.
It knows the intentions of anyone who
crosses through it. Many evil humans tried
to get to Althea only to reach the mist
and die when their ships mysteriously
sank or their planes mysteriously crashed.
There have also been supernaturals with
evil intent that have died trying to cross
the mist as well. The spell is so powerful that it has even killed immortal supernatural creatures.

350 years ago, Kim Taehyung inherited
Althea from his grandfather as a coming of
age present two weeks before his 101st
birthday. He also inherited the magical box
that the magic itself is stored in. This
box is hidden away and locked with the same
kind of magic that protects the islands.
Only Taehyung knows where it is and how
to open it. And like all dragons, he keeps
his treasure hoard locked from any
and all creatures, supernatural and human
alike. The only way to enter it is to
accompany Taehyung inside. He has yet to
allow anyone that privilege. And in doing so,
has kept the magic box safe with the rest
of his treasure.

1.) Must favorite the roleplay before
     applying. Upvotes are appreciated
     but can be saved for in case you want
     a 3rd character later down the road.

2.) This is an OOC DRAMA FREE ZONE. All
     drama MUST be plotted between
     characters IC ONLY. If you bring OOC
     drama, you will only get ONE
     warning. If it continues, you will be
     kicked and banned.

3.) 1st character is free, 2nd character
      is 500 points. 3rd character is an
      upvote and a blog post (must make
      public and link an admin to the blog
      before we'll approve the 3rd
      character), any characters above 3
      require you to bring someone new the
      the rp (and they must say you sent
      them) per character ( so if you want
      two more characters you must send
      2 people to the rp).

4.) Comment below to reserve your
      character. Reservations only last 48
      hours. After that, that character
      will become available for anyone. DO
      NOT request deceased or problematic
      celebrities. Internationals welcome.
      Celebrity must be 19+IRL

5.) Make sure you fill out the app completely.
     If you are a fae, demon, angel, vampire, or
     were put what type you are (they're
     listed in the info room). If you're a
     dragon put what color you are (also
     listed in the info room). If the app isn't
     filled out correctly, we won't accept it.

6.) Inactivity is set for 10 days. After 10 days
     you will be given a warning and if you do
     not post or respond within 24 hours, you
     will be removed. Continued inactivity
     is also grounds for removal. That
     being said, if you need a hiatus let us
     know in the hiatus room. You are only
     allowed a two week hiatus unless
     there are extenuating circumstances
     which you will need to discuss with an admin.

7.) Love is love here. , yuri, or straight. 
     All orientations allowed as well.

8.) 1st or 3rd POV. 

9.) Respect everyone. Anyone caught
     being disrespectful will be given
     one warning depending on the
     severity of their treatment of
     the other person. Anyone caught
     bullying will automatically be
     removed and banned.

10.) One week dating ban. Move in
       couples are allowed with admin permission.

11.) is only allowed in rooms marked with
       an M and on your walls or in pm.

12.) Be inclusive. Don't just rp with one or
       two people or your friends. Try to
       rp with everyone.
