The inner city grew out of the cracked sidewalk like the jagged gap-toothed grin of an old junkie. The only splash of color in the grime came from the lurid graffiti and the sidewalks were littered with injection paraphernalia.From every covered doorway came the dejected stares of men and women in their pathetic cardboard sleeping bags. From upper windows came the boom of sub-culture music. The hookers stalked the streets in their skimpy outfits and high boots looking for work, their drug-addled bodies as thin as pins, their cheekbones jutting out through pallid skin.

It wasn't pretty.

It wasn't meant to be.

Danger lurked on every corner hidden by the shadows of building remains, yet enticing anyone who had an ounce of curiosity running through their veins. The good-hearted don't last long on this side of the city. Their bleeding hearts become quite literal when they ask too many questions. So...

So why are you here?

Nobody joins a gang without being a lost soul first. No-one goes to a monster for guidance unless it's their only option. So what's brought you to the inner city? It's the section that people purposefully turn a blind eye to, acting as if nothing is astray in their picturesque communities. Yet, you're still here. This is your warning to turn back, because once you cross the line, there's no leaving this life. Any doubt will get you killed.

Standard rp rules apply. No facechasing, userchasing, godmodding, bubble rping, etc. IC drama is of course welcome as long as all parties involved consent, please do not drag IC drama into public chatrooms. OOC drama is strictly prohibited.

Move-in couples are not allowed, but there isn't a dating ban. Please interact with everyone, though, and build relationships for your characters.

This rp uses original character names so please refer to the directory for taken faceclaims before commenting your reservation. All faceclaims must be 20+ internationally. Do not request someone who is problematic, married, deceased, or doesn't wish to be rped.

Please have a profile picture within 24 hours of joining, a detailed profile must be completed after a week after joining. If you are in need of an extension for any reason, please reach out to the mayor.

Inactivity is set to 21 days, you will only receive one warning to get rid of the sign before you are removed from the rp. Events are mandatory unless otherwise stated.

Although this is a rated mature rp, include trigger warnings when necessary. Some topics may be okay with you, but not other people so tag appropriately at the beginning of your threads and on your profiles. If the phrase "onyx's dawn" is used, all discussions of that particular topic end immediately.
