Once these guests take a step over the threshhold to the manor, they are unable to leave. There is a curse that was placed on the manor that prevents them from doing so. They are able to explore the gardens and the outside perimeters leading to the woods and may even enter the woods, but once they attempt to go any further, an invisible force s the unsuspecting guests back into the perimeters of the manor. These are not the only forces that the guests have to be wary of. They also must contend with Nightmares and Hunters.
The Nightmares are malevolent entities born from the darkness that permeates Havenwood Manor, twisted manifestations of the mansion's cursed history and the tortured souls of its former inhabitants. For centuries, the mansion has been a place of suffering and despair, its halls echoing with the screams of the damned and the whispers of the dead. The Nightmares feed on fear and despair, drawing strength from the negative emotions of those who enter Havenwood Manor's cursed halls. They take various forms, appearing as grotesque phantoms, spectral apparitions, and twisted abominations, each more terrifying than the last. Driven by an insatiable hunger for souls, the Nightmares seek to torment the guests of Havenwood Manor, trapping them within their own worst nightmares and feeding on their terror until nothing remains but empty husks. They are relentless in their pursuit, appearing when least expected and striking with deadly precision, leaving behind only death and destruction in their wake.
The Hunters are a group of supernatural beings, serial killers, and other nefarious creatures who roam the dark and twisted woods surrounding Havenwood Manor. Each hunter has their own twisted motives and desires, ranging from a thirst for blood and vengeance to a desire for power and control. Some Hunters are supernatural entities drawn to Havenwood Manor by the dark energy that permeates its cursed halls. Others are serial killers who see the mansion and its surrounding woods as the perfect hunting ground for their twisted games of cat and mouse. Regardless of their origins, the hunters are united by their insatiable hunger for prey and their relentless pursuit of those who dare to venture into their domain. Hunters will sometimes make their way iNto the Manor, guests beware.
When creating your character, you may decide on whether you want to become an esteemed Guest, a Nightmare, or a ruthless Hunter.
With Guests, you can choose any occupation you want your character to have, for example, a paranormal investigator, a medium, a journalist, a demonologist, an exorcist. You could even have your character be a nurse, lawyer, bartender. It doesn't necessarily have to be a job relating to the supernatural. The possibilities are endless.

four characters per person. the first two are free. the last two require at least 100 points and a roleplay thread with someone with your other characters.
inactivity is set to 15 days. you'll be given a warning and 48 hours to respond. if you need a hiatus, please let an admin know
