There are a few things to know before joining! don't worry, it's nothing too stressful but there is obviously an eerie twist to our sleepy little town. As mentioned, this is a haunted town au so you will have the choice to join as a human or a ghost resident. But that isn't the only twist. There is also a very exclusive third and fourth catergory called the soul snatchers and the revivalists. 

1. Human - You either moved to town and just decided you enjoyed enough to stay put or you were born in Pinecrest and are knowledgable of it's rich history. 

2. Ghost - Pinecrest is hundreds of years old and used to be quite bustling back in it's heyday. You might have been one of it's residence once. If you join as a ghost, you will have to roll the dice to see what level of corporeal you are. Ex. rolling a 1 would make you a Lvl 1 ghost and you wouldn't be able to touch anything and can barely be seen. On the other hand rolling a six would make you fully visible and you'd be able to touch anything and anyone. (see more here)

3. Soul Snatcher - This is a very limited category but if you join as a soul snatcher, think of it as a game of mafia but you're a being that's just out to torment the humans. Humans have to be careful of interacting with you because you can perform a ritual that can turn them into ghosts! (see here)

4. Revivalists - when you think of the game of mafia, you also think of the doctor, right? Think of this person as just that but for ghosts. If you are ghost that wants to be human, you need to find a revivalist. Of course they will have a price (points) but they get the job done. This category is also extremely limited. (see here)

1. This is an AU.You are not Idols here. That being said all idol faceclaims are accepted except for those who are controversial, those who wish to not be rped and those who are deceased. We also accept all nationalities. 

2. There will be a lot of drama based plots or heavier topics but this is not a mature or rated rp. All rated topics must be kept in designated areas or to walls and pms. Faceclaims must be 18+ and can be aged up, up to 5 years. No fc under 21 is allowed to engage in mature/rated topics. Our safe word if anyone is uncomfortable or would like a conversation to cease is "icantfeelanything" 

3. We will be a rather laid back rp but we also encourage everyone to really dig into plotting. The chatroom will not award points and you will defintely need them in some aspects so be mindful. We also set inactivty to two weeks. One warning will be issued and 24 hours will be given to properly restore before you are kicked. Please no fc hogging. Try not to join and then actually go ghost.

4. four fc per user. please do not use second accounts for more! first is free, second after an upvote, third after a blog post and fourth after all of that with a plots post. once again, only take on what you can handle and try not to hog faceclaims.

5. We are a zero tolerance rp. We do not tolerate bullying, making people uncomfortable or blatant disrespect of the rules. be nice to each other and if you happen to not care for someone else, please just do not bring any drama into the rp because it will result in both parties being removed. there is plenty of room for everyone and plenty of spaces to enjoy and we all would like to have a good time so lets all try our best to get along! (ic drama needs to be discussed with all parties, and all mature or heavy topics must have a trigger warning)

6. We do not accept move-in couples. sorry. there will also be a dating ban of two weeks simply to keep the process of mingling amongst each other a little level. Engage with the other residence as much as you can and simply enjoy getting to know everyone and more  about the town.  

7. All that said, please try to refrain from bubble rping. we know that's a bit difficult but avoid so as much as possible. we won't be sticklers of this rule but it's discouraged.
