SHOW OVERVIEW:
LoveLies is an original character, mewe-based, dating reality show roleplay. it is centered around the fictional TV show, LoveLies which is an amalgamation of a variety of existing shows such as, but not limited to; perfect match, love island, too hot to handle, love alarm and more. 

Contestants – all of whom are either often unable to form long-lasting relationships or simply have unique perspectives of love – are invited to join the luxury LoveLies villa where they will spend their time mingling with the other contestants, going on dates and engaging in activities/workshops that have been assigned by ‘LOVEBOT’. Every week, they will be required to pair up with the person they are the most interested in and this will be done through a COUPLE SELECTION.

Contestants that pick each other will be ‘coupled up’ for the week (for the first 4 weeks, all contestants will have a pair that is randomly assigned by lovebot if they don’t mutually pair with someone to maximise connection opportunities) but these are not official couples and can be torn apart by ‘new links’ that enter the villa and other such situations. On top of that, LoveLies has a twist.

Upon signing up, contestants will be able to pick their identity* as a ’LOVER’ or a ’LIAR’ but these identities will be kept a secret until the last day of the show. ‘Lovers’ will be coming in with intentions of finding the love of their life whereas ‘LIARS’ will be coming in with intentions of winning a monetary prize by coupling with a lover. Depending on how the final couples go, they are in with the possibility of winning the following:

LOVER + LOVER = A couple’s trip away & 20 million won each**.
LOVER + LIAR = Liar will walk away with 50 million won**.
LIAR + LIAR = Both walk away with nothing.

* while your muses will not be aware of this, they will be able to change their identity before the final coupling (eg; a lover could turn into a liar or vice versa) but they will not be able to change their identity mid-show so choose carefully when applying. 

LOVEBOT & LOVELINK:
Lovebot and the Lovelink app are two crucial aspects of the show. Keep reading to learn more abut them!

THE LOVELINK APP: Contestants will be given phones to use during their stay at the villa and the LoveLink app is the hub for everything. They will be using this app to communicate with one another, update their SNS feeds as well as receive written communication from both Lovebot and/or the producers. They will each be given a link and must sign up for the app within 72 hours of being accepted on the show or they will be removed from the villa.

The app is also crucial for the pairings and dates. Through this app, contestants will be able to send gifts, request dates, and more. Those who are successfully matched will be notified by the app that they have ‘linked successfully’ = they will remain paired until this link has been broken. Contestants may also use the app to sever their links prematurely but this will mean that they will remain single until the next couple selection. 

LOVEBOT: Lovebot will be the contestants’ virtual assistant for the duration of the show. While you are able to contact her through the LoveLink app, you can also find her spotted around the villa, keeping an eye on how everyone is doing. Look out for a glowing crystal ball that is resting on a wooden base with a heart shape within the sphere, formed by what looks like a diffuse pattern of pink-greenlight.
