ABOUTTHISROLEPLAY

The Hunger Games takes place in a nation known as Panem, established on the continent of South Korea after the destruction of the continent's civilization by an unknown apocalyptic event. The nation consists of a wealthy Capitol and twelve surrounding, poorer districts united under the Capitol's leadership. As punishment for a previous rebellion against the Capitol in which a 13th district was destroyed, a select few youths from each district are selected by lottery to participate in the Hunger Games, an event in which the participants (or "tributes") must fight in an outdoor arena controlled by the Capitol, until only one individual or alliance wins.

Keep in mind that gamemakers like as few amount of people as possible to win (often only one which causes alliance members to fight each other at the very end), so betraying your alliance at the end is your best option to survive. In The Hunger Games betrayal is more common than friendship. You must be as aware of your allies as you are with your enemies. The Games end every four to six weeks or so. There is a small training period between each game so tributes have time to heal up and so that new tributes can join in. Participants are given those weeks to fight with genetically altered animals, the wilderness and the other tributes.

Making allies is the key to winning. Make relationships with other tributes, it's the only way to survive in the wilderness and against other tributes. If one has no allies, they will be alone and will be targeted/destroyed very quickly because they have no one to protect them or help nurse them back to health. Allies not only fight beside you, they also can help heal and feed you. This roleplay is taken place here on RPR. We roleplay in different arenas which are the roleplay rooms.
