Home of the strange, and let's just say..inhuman. Vanitas has been standing since 1943, starting out as a sanitarium for the ill-minded. After a while, it faded into nothing more than a pile of bricks and rubbish- which, in 1992 a scientist by the name of Dr. Hayashi rebuilt into a home for people he could expirement on, and we all know how something like that could go wrong, and leave some angry souls behind. In 2003 it fell into my hands. Of course, I didn't know what to do with it, I was nearly a thousand years old, I had no expirence with something like this. Though, I had an idea.
I gathered a few people like myself, and we rebuilt it. Vanitas is now a home for the abnormal, supernatural and paranormal. Under our roof, there is no such thing as 'normal', but that's the point, right? If it were normal, it wouldn't be so special. We take in those who are cast out by the world. Join us?

Vanitas is filled with creatures such as Ghosts, Immortals, Vampires, Werewolves and so on, but still has some of your more normal beings such as people who control elements, some who see and speak to dead people, some who even have cat ears- it is also the home of some peoples worst nightmare- The Reaper. It would surprise you just how different she is from stories, but either way. Our arms are forever open to those preculiar people lurking around out there.
