@× Jun Jin Jonghyun just smiled in reply, eyeing the knife on the counter which had blood on it. He nodded and smiled as the other walked out of the room. Once Jun Jin was out of the room he grabbed the knife, running his tongue over the blade, it clean. Once satisfied, the vampire chucked it in the sink and then walked into the living room sitting on the sofa and crossing his legs, letting his fangs sink back again, the faint red glow in his eyes fading
@ළ Jonghyun "Uh...thanks." Jun Jin said quietly before pulling his hands back after they were done. "I'm just gonna go, bandage this up...so it doesn't start bleeding again." With that he turned and put his hand on the dinner to table to guide himself through the darkness of the kitchen. Walking down the hallway, he took the first room on his left and the nightlight by the sink. The only reason he had one there was so he didn't have to turn on the super bright lights at night. Sighing to himself as he used his thumb to wipe away some of the blood that had started dripping again, he bent down to open the cupboard under the sink and polled out some white bandages he usually kept in stock. Closing the doors back up, he looked in the mirror at himself in the dim light before looking back down and starting to bandage his arm up.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun more gently at the wound now, trying to stop the bleeding. When he was sure the blood has stopped, he took one final and then pulled away from the cut. He was able to control himself well this time. No longer so hungry from earlier, the vampire could controll himself from biting the human. Jonghyun then grabbed the mans other hand and started lapping up the blood from his hands where he had tried to stop the bleeding, the palm of his hand clean, and then proceeding to on his fingers, determined not to let a drop of blood go to waste.
@ළ Jonghyun Jun Jin was about to reach out for the paper towel wherever it was before he suddenly felt what seemed like wind pass him and his arm was grabbed. As his eyes adjusted and he felt something else wet on his arm he saw the other man had grabbed him by the arm and was starting to up the blood dripping down in rivulets. He closed his eyes tightly and shivered, the cut stinging when they started it. For some reason he felt like the Vampire wouldn't stop, but he didn't know for sure, just a feeling. To hold himself steady he held onto the counter with his other hand and opened his eyes slightly, still not able to see much.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun nodded to answer the other's question, hearing the tap running in the other room, jonghyun took down his hood, knowing now that the lights were off. He heard something smash in the kitchen, and quickly stood up with a start. And soon that intoxicating smell entered his nostrils. Snapping out of it, he ran into the kitchen to see if the other was okay. Without thinking, the vampire grabbed his arm and started the blood off his arm, not missing a drop until he was at the wound. When he had cleaned up to the wound he at the cut, closing his eyes feeling lost in the taste.
@ළ Jonghyun "Want me to turn the lights off?" Jun Jin asked as he yawned and covered his mouth again before standing up. He noticed that the other seemed to be uncomfortable with the lights so he walked back into the hallway out of the living room to where all the light switches were. After he turned them all off, he went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. Just as he had turned off the tap and turned around, not really being able to see, his arm brushed on the counter and he suddenly felt like it was burning. He quickly dropped the glass into the sink, shattering it as the water spilled into the drain and he brought his arm up to his face to see what happened. "." he said under his breath before hearing something metal fell from the counter and clatter to the floor. Feeling a warm liquid run down his arm he realized he had accidentally run his arm along the knife and gave himself a long cut, and the blood dripped down as he tried to stop it from landing on the floor.
@× Jun Jin "So if I'm not quick enough I'll get burned alive by a glaring light..." He mumbled. "Vampire's idea of heaven..." He said sarcastically. Some vampires were born and lived near the boarder, meaning that they could stand the light to a certain degree. They would have lights on, they wouldn't mind it. Others were born and lived in complete darkness, meaning that any lights would hurt their sensitive eyes. Some only had small dim lights. "I feel trapped" He mumbled
@ළ Jonghyun "A fire?" Jun Jin asked as he faced the other on the other end of the couch, resting his head on the cushions. "Well, I've hopefully programmed it to leave the back door open, but I don't know if it works. If it does then we can get out from the back door but the rest would dead lock, and if it doesn't, we'd die by fire." he didn't know if the Vampire would die from a fire, as he'd probably be able to get out, but Jun Jin would never be able to. It's like he turned his own house into not only a safe haven but a prison as well.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun followed him into the living room head down, and then sat on the sofa taking off his shoes before putting his feet up and burying his head in his knees. He stayed silent for a moment. "So... what would happen if there was a fire and the system was getting damaged during the fire?" He asked, not looking up. Not that he could see so well anyway with his hood up. "Would it lock down then too and shut us in?" He asked
@ළ Jonghyun Jun Jin nodded again before motioning for the other to follow him to the living room. "Yes, and yes. But if the power goes out the system automatically deadlocks everything. Which is both good and bad, because if the power never came back on, well I'd probably be dead. Not that I would mind." he muttered at the end before looking at the other and sitting on one end of the couch. Yawning, he covered his mouth, not sure why he was so tired now.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun nodded. "oh, I see. So, is this place pretty tight?" He asked, looking down at the floor and shuffling his feet. "Wait... is the system electronic?" He suddenly asked curiously. If it was electronic there must be another way to get in or out in case there was a power cut. But Jonghyun wasn't even sure how the locking mechanism worked anyway.
@ළ Jonghyun "Hm?" Jun Jin hummed as he turned to look at the other as he took his jacket off. "Oh, it locks automatically. I made the system myself." Walking over to small gray box on the wall he opened it to make sure all the locks were on. "Something I learned. For now, I'm the only one who can open the doors and windows." he said and nodded before closing the box and looking back to the other man.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun put up his hood and stepped inside, closing the door behind him. "Uhm... can you lock the front door please?" He asked quickly, worried about anything trying to get in, following the human into the kitchen and poking him. Jonghyun didn't really look around, pulling his hood further over his face and closing his eyes for a moment, savouring the normality he got for just them few seconds.
@ළ Jonghyun Standing up and dusting himself off, Jun Jin walked up the steps towards the white door before looking behind him. "Why wouldn't you?" he asked with a smile before opening the door and walking inside himself. He left it open for the other as he the hallway light and looked around. The house was just the way he left it when he left. To his right was a small table with a few picture frames that he'd managed to save. Above it was a mirror. He blinked looking into it as he realized he had unconsciously drawn an arrow on it with a a marker. Quickly before the other came inside he used his finger to wipe it away and started walking towards the kitchen.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun smiled down at the other, and released him to allow him to get up. "Ah, so this is your humble abode" He smiled as he turned around, looking at the outside of the house. "Can I come inside?" He asked as he wait for the other to get out the keys or however he opened the door. It was strange not going home... although he would sometimes venture out, he would usually be home by now, yet he had offered to come home with a stranger to look after him.
@ළ Jonghyun Soon Jun Jin had fallen asleep, feeling comfortable enough that he didn't have nightmares like he normally did. He didn't know if maybe he was going crazy, but he's had frequent nightmares since childhood. Like giant spiders eating him alive, or his grandmother sinking into a black hole on her birthday. He'd died in most of them. Jun Jin was woken up though when they stopped moving and he felt himself behind poked lightly. He was also a light sleeper when he wasn't having nightmares. Yawning, he opened his eyes slowly to see the other and smiled as he looked passed him. "Oh, we're here." he said thoughtfully, waving to his house lightly as he squirmed to stand up on his own.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun hummed in response, and carried on going right just as he was told. He guessed that the other was tired, because soon enough he really did feel limp. Jonghyun cradled his head and placed it on his shoulder, hoping that if the other was asleep, it wouldn't wake him up. Another vampire walked past after a while, Jonghyun snarling in it's direction when it stopped to smell the air. Soon enough he approached a building of sorts. He sat down on the step, and poked the other lightly
@ළ Jonghyun Jun Jin could hear what was happening but didn't move one bit as he heard the man's voice. Laying there felt strange, like he was someone else's property when he said he was his. He pushed away the uneasy feeling though as he tried his best to play dead. Feeling them move again, he stayed that way, not wanting the other one they were talking to to notice anything. Soon he was getting tired, and almost yawned, twitching slightly. "Hm?" he hummed slightly before nodding a bit. "Just follow the dirt road...and keep going right...till you find a big blue house."
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun carried on walking, and saw the shadow approaching. He held the other more closely, staring at the other vampire as it came to a halt infront of him, Jonghyun stopping too. "Back of. Can't you see it's mine." Jonghyun grumbled with gritted teeth. The other vampire inhaled deeply and stretched an arm out towards the seemingly lifeless body. Jonghyun hissed, his fangs growing, eyes glowing. The hand retracted. Jonghyun quickly stepped to the side and carried on walking. "Them stupid..." He mumbled and sighed. "Where now?" he whispered.
@ළ Jonghyun Jun Jin blinked but nodded, slumping over in the other's hold. It was even enough, considering he had done it many times before when he pretended to be sleeping as a child. Or when he had too much blood loss and couldn't actually move his body from cutting. Either way, both situations made it easier for him to act. Closing his eyes, he listened for what the other might have heard but he didn't hear anything. At least not yet.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun found it strange how the other hadn't screamed or panicked when he had forced the handkerchief into his mouth. He had expected him to at least look shocked, but he only really flinched when he was picked up. "Go limp" He whispered in the other's ear as he heard a twig branch a little ahead of them. It must have been a vampire. Elves don't tend to come too far into the city of vampires. Not this far anyway.
@ළ Jonghyun Jun Jin closed his eyes tightly when he felt the other pick him up and tensed slightly. It was a weird sensation, considering not even his parents picked him up like this as a child. They were either always at work, or always too busy to pay attention to him. He was always puzzled as to why they found time in their schedules for his brother, but he supposed it was just because he had more important things to do than what Jun Jin was doing. Looking at the other with the handkerchief stuffed in his mouth, he just nodded, not really sure what to do and looking downwards after that.
@× Jun Jin Jonghyun's lips turned up into a smile of sorts, his frown disappearing soon after. He quickly came up behind the other and pulled him up, carrying him like he was a baby. He quickly grabbed a handkerchief from his pocket and stuffed it into the other's mouth, putting a finger to his lips, gesturing for him to be quiet as he walked on.
@ළ Jonghyun "innocent." Jun Jin mumbled under his breath, wondering what context they were speaking under. If it was regarding the Humans' relationship with Vampires, then yes, he probably was innocent. In any other context though, probably not. He'd cursed people, he'd sneak out of the house every night, he'd cut himself. Those were definitely not innocent things in his mind. There were other things he did that he also wished he didn't, bad things that he didn't want to remember. Looking back at the other he stopped walking and just nodded. "Fine."
@× Jun Jin "You're innocent" He stated, looking at the other sternly. "I don't want to let you die, you aren't to blame. Why would I want to just let you die?" he asked, frowning. Maybe it would be easier to just let the other die. To not betray his kind by letting a human live, but this human was not to blame. The poor human didn't even know about what his ancestors had done. Jonghyun wouldn't dwell on the past and seek revenge on any kind. In every race there were bad people and good people. He wouldn't kill an innocent being, neither would he let one be killed if he could help it. "Let me pick you up"
@ළ Jonghyun Blinking and turning his head to look at the other Jun Jin was puzzled. "Why would you have to fight them off? You could just let them kill me you know." he replied, shrugging as he put his hands in his pockets. "It would save you a lot less trouble." Nodding again, he tilted his head slightly. "Weird how I can still say it now, except this time I don't want it to happen." he mumbled to himself, recalling how much self hate he had for himself in his younger years. When he used to have his tree house, he had a small corner where he would put all his, how you would say, 'dark' things. Just one of those many things was a mirror he would always look in. He'd draw arrows to his eyes and write freak about a hundred times before erasing it and doing it again the other day. Of course things got much worse than that, but he'd rather not remember those.
@× Jun Jin "Trouble? It would be more trouble if someone tried to attack and kill you. Then I'd have to try and fight them of". He tried to reason. Jonghyun was stubborn, and he didn't want any trouble from other vampires trying to kill Jun Jin. Now that would be a disaster. "Come on, it's safer this way" He continued, walking very close by
@ළ Jonghyun Of course Jun Jin knew that as well, but he was the type of person who would just go 'Oh, please carry me and I'll pretend I'm dead so I don't die'. "I don't want to put you through the trouble." he replied, really not wanting to bother the other anymore than he already had. Maybe he should have just stayed home today. That would have made everything easier.
@× Jun Jin "I said I should carry you" He repeated, following closely. If a crazy vampire attacked, Jonghyun was doomed. If a normal vampired tried to attack Jun Jin, he may end up with more scratches, blood and bites, and that would only attract more vampires to them. "If you pretend to be dead, then people won't try and attack you, if I have you, you are mine
@ළ Jonghyun Walking down the street, Jun Jin put his hands in his pockets and looked around before turning the corner. He started walking in the new direction towards the edge of town where the dirt road was before he heard the other mumble something he couldn't here. "Did you say something?" he asked, looking behind him to look at the other. Even though he was Human, Jun Jin was perfectly capable of defending himself, if he had the right tools. Although he knew possibly every way to kill a Vampire, he'd never actually done it, so he didn't even know if he could. He only knew what to do, not if he could execute it.
