@Lee Sungkyung He could have avoided seeing the phone and the obvious owner. Or would have thought the owner was taking an outside picture, capturing the gloomy scene just outside-- posting it on her personal SNS with pointless hashtags which Yoo Seung Ho did not understand just as to why they needed to label everything with such things. Though everytime Seung Ho unconciously focuses on the corner of his eyes, the phone stalker was still there. Stalker, because Seung Ho felt that it was them that was being camcorded. How many times has he tried to relax and calm his head, yet there was still that eerie feeling embracing him, clouding his thoughts and percepting skills. Once had he tried to check where it was coming from, and as if not wanting to get captured, Seung Ho caught a woman, or a girl as she was not that old, flinching all too suddenly and, as if panicking, trying to act normal and hide what he thought was her phone. It had confirmed fifty percent of his theory then, and as he turned back to Joohyun for a long time, the very second he saw her in pheripheral view, the phone stalker by the window was back.
He tried to turn again, to look at the girl after quite sometime as he allowed to take more intimately to Joohyun, but this time, instead of acting suspicious, she kept her phone raised, her elbows touching the table and her palms enclosing the smartphone. Seung Ho could no more contain his iritationat the lingering feeling that he did not like very much, and blamed it on her. Setling his decision, he planned to confront the girl, even without proof that she was indeed stalking them. This might lead to an ignorant and arrogant kind of approach, yet Seung Ho did not care. Well, considering the situation that he and his sister was in, this affair they had, it was almost too dangerous for them to be seen anywhere at all, let alone have someone seeming to be taking pictures of them.
Joohyun had to go to the ladies restroom, she said. Seung Ho took this oppurtunity with much eagerness inside, and he waited in their table until she disappeared out of sight. And then, he placed his plan into action. Yet what was the plan that was set into action? Seung Ho did not have any plan other than walking towards her, and asking what her problem was. And indeed, that was what he did. He walked, a little too fast in his opinion, before he stopped infront of the woman's table. Getting that empty seat, he sat, and stared right into the woman's eyes; his hands on the table- palms wide open. Seung Ho did not have much time to give her his attention, and he was not intending to do this confrontation very slowly, and so he was doing everything as fast as he could.
"Give me your smartphone." he says, or rather, demanded.
@Yoo Seung Ho {09/18} Blood rushed up through what was a face full of worry and slight fear. The redness moving fast towards ears that strained themselves to listen for anything past the wooden door that it lay glued on. However, as much as it did, nothing could silence out the sounds of beating that echoed through the female’s trembling body. Was it from the feelings she has now, or the feelings she had earlier, Sungkyung wasn’t sure. Though what really mattered to the female at that very moment was the fact that her sister-in-law was out there with a man other than her brother.
The very thought of that fact had paved way for what Sungkyung really felt, anger and betrayal. Of course there was hurt there; nothing for the female who sits outside, chatting with the male the brunette had oh so bumped into earlier; but for her dear old brother- who loved and respected the female for as long as she knew. And at that very moment, the little sister that she was had decided, no matter how painful it must be, she had to tell her brother. However, how could she? When so far, she’s done nothing but hide out in the bathroom for God knows how long?
Letting out a deep breath, the brunette readied herself. Sungkyung knew that her brother would only listen if she had some kind of ‘proof’, he had always been a rational but rather idiotic man like that. And with that thought, the heart of a little sister in her ached, while the desire to stop the witnessed infidelity burned far greater.
Coming out from where she had hidden was the easiest part, passing by them without being noticed was the same, what really needed proper care was taking the ‘proof’ that she needed. Sungkyung then passed the two, just as Joohyun let out a hearty laugh that was later replied with a smile by the male she was with. The scene made the female inwardly puke as she thought, even whispering with a scowl: “Disgusting.”
She shook her head and continued to her seat quietly. Taking another look at the pair in front of her, a part of the girl waited, waited to see if her assumptions were all wrong despite the actual truth. Alas, the two gave nothing but a handful of other unacceptable touches, glances, and whispers- that was the last straw. Sungkyung let out her phone and angled it towards the pair, making sure to keep her finger glued on the capture button, and as if it weren’t enough, a video was taken after. All the care for getting caught had gone out the window by the time she was done. It was over, nothing was stopping Sungkyung from revealing the truth.
@Lee Sungkyung Yoo Seung Ho wasn't an easily tempered man, but maybe the fact that he was holding two choco lattes nearing spillage when he made contact with the girl annoyed him, making his day--- no, that very second plus the other five he spent afterwards-- ruined. The drinks could have spilled, and Seungho did not care if it spilled on the floor or on his shirt, but rather it was for his sister. His sister's favorite. He did not want to go back to the counter again and get another one.
Luckily though, his grasp on the glass was strong that it did not slip. Venting out his annoyance through hushed breaths, he continued to make his way to Joohyun, leaving the girl who had bumped into him-- an idiot, he says-- behind without a word.
He sees Joohyun look up to him, and instantly he meets her gaze with a smile. It takes him a little longer to reach the table before he could finally seat in the seat in front of her due to the incoming customers at the door, but nonetheless sits down and pushes Joohyun's drink towards her.
"Here, your favorite right?" SeungHo did not even need an answer.
He watches Joohyun take it with gleaming eyes. The reaction is somewhat familiar to him, almost bringing back a memory in the past--- a deja vu.
"I don't have this often," she tells him. "It's good to have this once in a while."
"What?" Seung Ho asked almost instantly, an uncontrolled emotion. His sister liked the drink very much, that he though he would have it everyday. "Don't you take this everyday? I doubted you would even want it this day, since I thought you took it everyday."
Joohyun laughed, making Seungho ease a little, and follow that vibe her laugh brings. "I would want to," she says, taking her spoon and scooping the cream first. "But Eric-- Eric is allergic to coffee."
"Really?" Seungho mused, trying to act like it. Though inside, he was barely on the edge. Eric, that is their alias for her husband. His hate for Eric was too obvious, but somehow he preferred not telling it to Joohyun. It bought a tension in the atmosphere, and that tension was back again. But he was getting good in acting that somehow he doubted if Joohyun could even feel the change in atmosphere.
"I didn't even think people could be allergic to coffee."
"Well, Eric is a first then?" she says, followed by a hearty laugh. No, she didn't feel the tension.
His control is slipping away, he thinks, but it takes not less than a minute to make everything successful. He's able to keep it up, and just like that. He did a good job of not ruining everything.
He smiles as a response to Joohyun, keeping silent or he wouldn't be able to keep his thoughts only to himself. 'So, if I buy coffee powder, would I be able to kill him then?', he thinks but then decides that this is a good day to be ruined.
[I replied! Very very late and very very sorry! :( ]
@Yoo Seung Ho {09/18} Slender fingers ran through brown locks, tucking them behind an ear in hopes of keeping it steadily in place, though it was to no prevail. With yet another unsuccessful attempt, Sungkyung let out a breath and moved her eyes off of her phone’s screen in annoyance. ‘What’s wrong with this thing?’ She thought, irritatingly tugging at the stubborn clump on her face. However the female knew, but did not want to admit, that there was something more to her sudden displeasure than what appears to be her unruly hair.
This unwanted feeling, she recalled, began right after an important meeting. Of course that didn’t go as planned, as she was sitting by their agreed spot, clearly alone. Although the female never did expect anything to come out from the “blind date” arranged by a foolish friend of hers, although she was confident enough to know that the next few scenes weren’t meant for her to anticipate either.
A female she knew all too well entered the cafe earlier that day, seemingly moving with extreme caution and discomfort. Sungkyung’s eyebrows met then, instantly knowing that something had been off. Ducking her head ever so slightly, the brunette followed the latter with her gaze and was (mostly) astonished to see what she had. Her supposed “innocent and angelic sister-in-law” was out and about, getting cozy with another male. Now who in their right mind wouldn’t conclude the situation so suddenly like she did? Everything was clearly just presented to her- with a red ribbon to top.
Sungkyung remembered her jaw dropping and staying that way a few more seconds before she was able to compose herself again. Though despite quite a few hours passing since that moment, the boiling feeling within her still wouldn’t go away, nor did the need to just walk up to the pair and make a scene. Another breath found it’s way past the female’s lips, the irritation was now physically exhausting her. To suppress these feelings a little longer, Sungkyung stood from her spot ever so slightly, hoping that she could go to the restroom unnoticed. The girl admitted that she was doing quite a good job at it, being all super spy- that is until she found herself bumping onto someone, almost tripping.
“Oh, I’m sorr-” Sungkyung’s eyes widened and she blinked not just once. The female found herself at a loss for words, clearly trying to comprehend the situation she was in. A nod followed by a hard swallow were the answers she was able to muster before she spoke again, trying to act more natural this time around. “Sorry about that, I better watch where I’m going.” A smile and another nod were the last thing she gave the male before running off towards the restroom. As she locked the doorknob however, the female couldn’t shake the feeling that she’s seen the guy already, probably even knowing him to an extent. Though she just prayed that it wasn’t the same for the latter, cause if it was, she knew she was screwed.
It was another good day for Seung Ho. Filling all the days that had been 'good' for him, this was probably the eight time in a row. What would have been the reason? Of course, Joohyun. No one made him happy like his sister, or made a day the best enough with just the simple sight of her.
Added that her husband was away for how many weeks, and so Seung Ho could have the decision where and when to see her. Of course, there would have still to be some precautions, but they were still better for him. She could stay in his apartment or he could stay at his. But judging from the househelpers his sister and that bastard husband had, it was too impossible to step inside her house.
They were still in their favorite cafe. After a break of their individual jobs, they agreed to meet for lunch. They were free, Seung Ho thought. He could hold her hand again, and be more intimate with her in ways of skinship-- but of course it did not leave his eyes about Joohyun's sudden reactions to his touches.
She was still not used to it, Seung Ho's touches. Seung Ho believed that it was because of the public eyes-- no one knew whether they were recognized or not. Seung Ho, despite his renowned stubborness, understood the invisble point that his sister was pointing out in the open. Of course. But he couldn't stop himself from bringing in the fear of him doing wrong, or his actions being disappointing in Joohyun's eyes. All of these thoughts swarmed in his head, and Seung Ho can barely manage to retain the calmness in his mind.
To Aika, Han River was a beautiful sight when the sun begins to set. A camera was dangling from her neck, swaying with every step she takes along the sidewalk. The clear water sparkles beneath the sun's rays as the young woman takes a halt to snap a few pictures of the scenery. Her thin lips draw into a smile at her success and then leans forward against the railing. If anything, it drew the problems that piled in her life, and tosses them to the back of her mind. She eyes the that float with the current and to the child that play off to the side of the river. A sigh erupts from as she begins to walk again.

It would have been better if Heechul knew what Jessica was thinking. Would have been even better if Jessica knew what Heechul was thinking. They walked together, their movements almost synchronized. They were physically near to each other, yet their minds were not with them.
What if Donghae..., Jessica thought to herself, worried inwardly.
What if Puff...., Heechul counted his cellphone's vibration as she called. 34, 35, 36...
What would have it been like when people had mind reading abilities? It would have for some people, but for the two- it could have been everything. It could have meant the answers they were looking for, the decisions that they can not seem to agree on by themselves. If they only knew, then their soul's shouldn't have been like it is. Even now.
"Jessica," Heechul started out of the blue.
The younger did nothing to respond.
"I love you," he said.
The brunette stopped walking. Her feet was stuck.
She...she...what?
"What?" Her heart was beating louder and faster. Even though she was having a hard time of keeping her composure intact, she still noticed her feelings. Heart beating louder. Faster. This was what they defined as love, wasn't it?
Do you really do? Wh-why. I don't understand. Wait. Why this direct?
The idea seemed ridiculous to Jessica. How was she going to narrate this? They were only walking and Heechul confessed. He did and she got what she wanted. Her own fairy tale. The End?
She turned to look back at the older who greeted her, and he was wearning a mischievous smile. Heechul then followed it by a small smirk.
