The City

@Luna "Away from here," he answered shortly before pushing them to move faster, trying his best to put distance between them and the daimon. "We have two choices..." he said through his accelerated breathing, pulling her with him as they reached the side-street and turned, running along the road.

They weaved swiftly through the few humans on the road, their expressions showing different levels of bewilderment as they passed. He had instinctually turned toward Sanctuary but he wasn't sure what the other were-hunter wanted to do.

Continuing his sentence, he cast a sidelong glance at the girl running with him, "Run for Sanctuary, or find an open area to stand and fight" he finished as they ran. The daimon was beginning to close on them and Xiumin felt the first pangs of fear creep into his chest.

Despite the calm in his voice he felt the shift progressing along his body, his feet uncomfortably constricted in his shoes, shoulder blades protruding unnaturally as bone and muscle ground against one another; his shoulderblades splitting and rearranging as they prepared for the generation of his wings.

@Luna It happened so quickly he wasn't sure what happened. But, he thought, perhaps it was her scent that reached him first akin to his but somehow lighter more human. It was second that his eyes lifted to look beyond her and he saw what had triggered her fear. A daimon, large and menacing was standing just beyond the storefront, it bared its ugly fangs and Xiumin saw the other Gerakian recoil in terror.

When pin feathers began to sprout from her skin and talons split the tips of her fingers it suddenly became clear that this whole situation was about to turn into a disaster.

Leaping into action he was at her side in a fraction of a second, his own were-form lingering just below the surface. Speaking directly into her ear he said "come with me, there is a back door."
He laid a hand on her feathered arm his own talons beginning to break through the skin of his fingertips. "please, control your panic, It's hard but we have to get out of here"

He pulled her toward the back of the store never taking his eyes off of the daimon as they moved. The moment it started to pursue them he turned to face the door and their eventual freedom his hand slipping down her arm to grasp her taloned hand pulling her forward with him, through the door and out into a back ally that led to a less crowded side-street.

@Seungri The excitement from his demon was mirrored within him in the joy that he felt knowing his plan was a success. Even if it failed and Seungri was less than stealthy it would probably ruin the night for the date and he would still win. Heck, it might even be better that way, but no matter what he was not going to let some weird guy he didn't know get to Hara.

"Like Batman!" he called after Seungri with a laugh and watched after him. It was going to be an amazing night, Jaejoong just had that feeling.

@Jaejoong He could hardly contain his excitement. With any luck he would save noona number two from the vile creature that dared stay in her presence and noona number one would be coming over. He danced from on foot to the other as he debated on how to best approach this mission. Nodding his head he decided the first step would be to locate noona number two.

With an "I get to be the hero." He lept from the building, waving to his Akri and took flight. He had done this enough to avoid the unwanted attention of gawkers. "Now if I were my noona on the verge of entering a den of evil where would I be?" He decided her apartment would be the best place to start.

@Seungri And just like that his demon had swallowed the bait whole. Jaejoong did his best to keep his composure when inside he was grinning and giving himself a high five for his cunning. "You'd have to talk to her about the cheese thing. Depending on her mood you might even had a shot." he replied and chuckled at how oddly true it was. Dara was very much a wildcard and on any given day there was no telling what she would do until it came to something serious.

"Again you have to ask her about her sleeping arrangements. You know I can't answer for her or she will set me on fire." he replied, not even questioning why Seungri wanted Dara in his bed. They had done it all the time as they were growing up and most of the time Jaejoong still saw them as the silly toddlers who used to play themselves into exhaustion. Honestly not much had changed.

@Jaejoong His eyes widened, mouth slightly agape. His noona, coming to spend the night if he successfully completed his mission. There was no way he could fail but in this case it definitely wasn't an option.

"Cheese doesn't even come close to noona...unless she's covered in it." Imagining his noona covered in cheese Seungri smiled, it was the best of both worlds! Another thought interrupted that one. Dara in pink pajamas with little black dragons on them sitting next to him in his bed as he instigated a pillow fight.

"Oo Akri if I succeed in rescuing noona number two can noona number one sleep with me? Please?" Seungri threw in puppy dog eyes as an added offense.

@Seungri There were moments in his life when he truly wished he could see into the mind of the demon, not to understand but just to watch like one would watch their favorite television show. Whatever was going on in there seemed to have his hamsters turning their wheels into overdrive and that alone made him smile. His plan was working, the proper lure had been dropped in the water now all he had to do was sweeten the deal.

"I was going to get Dara to come over and spend the night with us but if you would rather the cheese then we can arrange that instead." the god replied casually and crossed his arms over his chest, not knowing just how good of an offer he had made to Seungri.

@Jaejoong Interested Seungri raised an eyebrow. He didn't appreciate the thought of his second favorite noona out on a date without him. He gasped when his Akri mentioned that she was with a male. The only males that Hara knew were himself and his Akri and he knew for a fact that neither of them were with her now. He was being tasked with a very important mission indeed. His own troubles with his first favorite noona would have to wait, he had his second favorite noona to save!

He saluted his Akri. "The Seungri will undertake this dangerous mission. I will acquire the target and bring her safely home." Lowering his arm his brain went back to the reward he questioned "So...what is this awesome wonderful reward that the Seungri gets." His eyes went wide as he concocted random possibilities. "Is it a new goat? Ooo I know it's a life time supply of cheese. Please tell me that it's the cheese!"

@Seungri As Jaejoong glanced at his demon he wondered what on earth his demon could be thinking about so deeply. In all of the long years he had known Seungri he hadn't really given anything more than a passing thought. 'Oh no... what if he is growing up?' the god thought worriedly, all of his awkward paternal instincts kicking in. 'No. It can't be that bad because I don't think he has noticed girls yet. But then again there are no girl charontes as far as I know.'

The face Seungri made as Jaejoong called for him had him confused but he decided not to inquire. "Well, Hara has a date with a man!" Jaejoong paused for effect and then continued. "I need to know everything they do and everywhere they go. I also need to know if you think they guy is worth her time. If you do this there will be a reward."

@Jaejoong Seungri was only half listening to his Akri. The city was no place for the Seungri. Charonte were supposed to be free and uninhibited. Plus the air was rancid with the fumes of the vehicles. He had seen several stray cats that had looked delicious while they stood there. The city was beautiful at night but Seungri was always more interested in the difference in the actions of people. During the day they were reserved, almost afraid to do anything out of line. At night they were loud and rambunctious, free of the inhibitions of the day.

He made a face at his Akri's nickname for him. Hara had told him that it was short for retard, a word that he had been forced to look up. He still didn't grasp the full meaning but he understood that it wasn't a term of endearment as he had been believed for so long. Digesting the rest of his Akri's words he smirked. A mission! Just like Mr. James Bond! A mission also meant that he had a distraction from the other things plaguing his mind. "What kind of a mission Akri?"

@Seungri Sounds of the city drifted up to where Jaejoong and his demon stood on the rootops looking out. The buildings seemed to glisten and glow in the night, each window that flickered on or off reminding him of fireflies. Even the cement and stone had it's own sort of beauty to it and he was taking the moment to admire it before Seungri tried to run off and eat one of it's inhabitant.

"Ri, ri." he called softly and glanced at his unusual companion. This demon had been the source of so much annoyance, pain, and discord in his life but also every bit as much happiness, laughter, and comfort. At the time in Jaejoong's life when he truly thought of attempting to end all existence there was this tiny baby Seungri that needed his care. Having that to focus on pulled him from the brink and gave him new purpose. "I have a mission for you."

@Krystal The hunter tilted his head to the side, studying the woman. A assuring smile spread over his face. "The name's Ravi. I seriously thought you were someone else." he chuckled. "Sorry about that." the man kept his hand's in plain view, not wanting to give the woman any excuse to put an arrow in his skull.

@Ravi krystal dont trust that guy easily since she dont know what harm he can done to her. she still hold her arrow "who are you?" she said.

@Krystal The hunter stopped at the sight of a bow and arrow aimed at his face. He looked the weilder of said weapon up and down, before slowly lowering his knife and stashing the blade back into his belt. The man held up his hands in a surrendering gesture. "My bad, I thought you were someone else." he said with an awkward chuckle.

the shadow behind her and she quickly stand up while hold

@Krystal With a few quick and quiet steps, the hunter approached the trashcan. He quickly came around the trashcan, a large knife poised and ready to strike.

@Ravi krystal just wandering around the town trying to find a place for her to sleep when she heard footsteps not far from her. anxious about what it might be, she pull out her arrow and bow and turned into an alley. she hide behind the trashcan and get ready to attack just in case.

@Krystal On chilly nights like this, Ravi would rather be at home. He'd rather be curled up in a blanket or something, but no. Instead, he was out here hunting a daimon. He wouldn't complain though. He would just have to find the daimon, kill it, and go home. He turned into an alley to continue the search and spotted a figure ducking quickly ducking down behind a trashcan. He sank into the shadows and approached the figure weapon drawn.
