Drum Major: Being the Drum Major is a lot of work. You are the face of the band. You lead the band into competition and combat. You lead the band through football games and parades (while you march them backwards). You are the best of the best the school has to offer in combat and marching. You have to know everyone in the band and make sure they come to practice. You live and breath leadership. You conduct everytime there is a piece of music played. Your job as drum major is never finished. To become Drum major you must write 10 sentences about your character and how they got to be in such a high position. If you have been a drum major in real life just write the school name you attended to and the year(s) you were as drum major.
Captain: These individuals are the individuals that fight for the Drum Major position when the Drum Major Graduates. (Leaves the RP.) These individuals are in charge of each major section such as Woodwind, Brass and Percussion. With that said there are only three (3) spots available. These are the strongest follwing the Drum Major and they are the Drum Major's "Section".
Section Leader: Section leaders as the people that are the strongest in each section. A Captain CANNOT be a Section Leader. These people are the ones in charge of each category of instrument. For example the first chair clarinet would be the Section Leader for all Clarinets, Alto Clarinets and Bass Clarinets. There are twelve (12) spots open for this.
These are the people that become Section Leaders:1st Clarinet, 1st Piccolo ,1st Alto Sax, 1st Trumpet,1st Trombone,1st Mellophone ect.
Normal Student: You are what you name says. You are a normal Marching Band student. It dosent matter what year you are at or how old you are if you just started you are only a normal student in Band. You have no leadership position you are learning the ropes.
