@Taehyung Taecyeon walked in later than he wanted and looked around the restaurant before spotting the three of them and slowly walking over. He knew Taehyung and Suho, but hadn't met Donghyuk yet. He was already assuming that he made a bad impression on himself as it was, plus being the oldest one out of the three of them, he grew even more nervous. "Hey guys, I'm really sorry that i'm late, something had come up with Seolhyun and she needed help recording something." He explained as he bowed a full ninety-degrees to the three of them before sitting down. He looked at the meat and just stayed still. He hasn't had meat like this in a long time, but he felt like eating right now would be disrespectful to them, especially being late, plus it being the celebration for Donghyuk's birthday.
@Donghyuk Taehyung shook his head disapprovingly when the younger ones tried to offer to pay. "Hey, it's not always that this hyung wants to pay for food okay? Don't push it." Taehyung narrowed his eyes at the two of them as they were seated before chuckling and looked at the waitress. "I'll have the best meat you have here." Taehyung ordered, smiling assuringly at the other two members and the waitress nodded. Not long after, their meat came and was grilled. Taehyung's mouth watered as he did the grilling as the other side dishes came later. Taehyung smiled. "Wow, this looks so good." Taehyung said to the two. "You guys want me to feed you or you wanna eat by yourselves?" Taehyung asked jokingly with a raised eyebrow. "Eat up maknaes, you're gonna work extremely hard after this. So eat up today and let's show our fans how well we are alright?" Taehyung said as he took the first bite and just melted at the taste of it.
@Donghyuk Suho laughed softly, tapping Donghyuk's arm. "Hey- Just let him pay. You know you can't win an argument with Taehyung." He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "But I'm paying for my own so-" He knew that Taehyung would try to make him not pay for it, but hey, he could try, right? He looked around, wondering when exactly Taecyeon was going to get there. He liked hanging out with him. And since Taehyung offered to ask him to come, he was sure that Taehyung liked him a little bit too. He didn't know about Donghyuk, though. However, he knew that they were all going to have a good time.
@Suho [SH] Donghyuk blinked as he found himself at a restaurant with the rest of s, smiling clumsily. "I should pay, I'm the leader after all... I've been making a lot of money anyways." He said as he hummed softly to himself. He looked around, sighing satisfied from the smell of the beef and meat aroma. It was something he didn't have for the longest time. It must be the luckiest birthday of his life since a spot opened up as soon as they arrived and checked in for a spot. Donghyuk smiled softly as he walked to the table - flipping through the meat selections.
@Donghyuk Taehyung drove the three of them to the restaurant. It's been awhile since they had lunch together. All of them. Well, not all of them are here but he figured it'd be enough. It wasn't a fancy restaurant but it was a meat restaurant. Seeing as today was Donghyuk's birthday, he figured he treat them to eat. Although, Taehyung doesn't wish during the day he should at least give his present early right? "Taecyeon hyung is coming as well later, I already gave him the address." Taehyung said as he entered the restaurant leading his other members in. They were there with good timing because a place just opened up just enough for 4 people. Taehyung thanked the server and sat down. "Today is hyung's treat so eat as much as you want. We have to eat up if we're gonna return to the fans soon." Taehyung said with a smile.
( reply to Suho so he knows that it's been posted. )
@Hong Jonghyun "Yeah, I thought they would have been great. I didn't know about the bullying though. It sounded very bad." She frowned lightly. "So you act and sing now? That's pretty cool. How does it feel like being in a group?" She glanced up at him with a grin. Going solo and being in a group seemed pretty different, though she couldn't imagine how it would feel like without her group members. "Are you getting along well with your members?"
@Hong Jonghyun "I guess all book stores are different then." She nodded and chuckled lightly. "But yeah, it feels great to be in one." Choa hummed softly as she picked a book with an interesting title out, flipping it to the back to read the synopsis before placing it back on the shelf. "Oh right. I heard that you're in a group now. So you're not acting anymore?" She glanced up at him with a curious smile, "Also, have you heard of that new rival company? I was shocked when I heard the news about DNS disbanding."
@Hong Jonghyun She nodded and followed behind him, walking into the bookstore with a huge smile on her face. "It's exactly like the one back in my old hometown." Glancing up at the different sections, she went down the first aisle closest to the entrance, which was the non-fiction one. She picked up a few books with interesting titles, briefly scanning through the synopsis before putting them back down, and moving on to the next aisle. "They have almost everything here, it's great." She chuckled softly, spotting the names of a few authors that were typically hard to find in most bookstores.
@Hong Jonghyun She nodded, smiling and chuckling a little at his words as she glanced back up. "Really? Thanks. I'll try my best not to stop smiling then, and I'll make sure my members won't too." Glancing over, she spotted a book shop to the left of them. "Oh look! Can we go in? It's been so long since I've last been to a bookstore."
@Hong Jonghyun "Really? Well maybe next time when we get breaks we can go back home together." She chuckled and nodded. "What do you mean might have? You must have a lot of fans." She laughed lightly and shook her head at his teasing tone, glaring at him playfully. "Well, I don't know. We are supposed to have a comeback soon, but Krystal just left. It's kinda sad, because she and I have trained the longest out of all of us." Sighing softly, she cast her gaze downwards onto the ground as she spoke, pulling her lips into a small frown.
@Hong Jonghyun "I'm glad she's feeling better. Send my regards to her the next time you see her." Choa nodded, smiling up at him. She chuckled a little when he nudged her, glancing up at him with a tilt of her head. "Do you think we'll get that many international fans though? It seems so exciting to have international fans. You must have a lot, don't you?"
@Hong Jonghyun "Wow is Japan really that interesting? I'm curious now." She laughed lightly, glancing down at their feet as they walked. "Maybe I'll get to travel with 30SECONDS for world tours. And when I have enough money, I'll bring my family for holidays too." She smiled at the thought of that. "By the way, how's your mother? Is she better already?" She raised her head and glanced up at him.
@Hong Jonghyun "5 years? Your Japanese has to be really good then." She gasped, turning to look at him. "I guess so. I mean, I just want to go somewhere. I never get to travel overseas." She chuckled, pouting slightly. "How is it like in Japan?"
@Hong Jonghyun "Yeah, I spent much more time with my mum since my dad worked most of the time when I was young." She chuckled, nodding in agreement to his words. Her head snapped up quickly when he mentioned Japan, and she looked at him in awe. "In Japan? You've been to Japan before?" She never really had the chance to travel overseas, and hearing people talk about their experiences overseas made her regret not begging her parents harder when she was young.
@Hong Jonghyun She nodded and followed him out into the streets, strolling down the sidewalk leisurely with a smile on her face. "I remember how I used to love walking around the streets like that with my mum when I was young. I went into every bookstore and toy shop we passed by. Then if my mum was in a good mood, she would let me buy a book or a toy, and I would be so happy with it." She recalled as they passed by various shops, her gaze lingering slightly longer on those that caught her attention. "It was the best part of my childhood." Choa glanced back up at him with a grin.
@Hong Jonghyun "Okay then let's just walk around and talk. I'm feeling really full after the meal anyways." Choa chuckled along with him as she walked out of the restaurant, glancing left and right down the street. "Which way shall we go?" She glanced back up at him with a grin. She wasn't very familiar with this area; it was Jonghyun who brought her here to the restaurant after all. He probably knew more about the different shops around the area than she did.
@Hong Jonghyun "Fine, but next time, I'll pay okay!" Choa sighed softly and walked out of the restaurant with him, slipping her wallet back into her bag. "Where are we going to now?" She glanced down at the street before looking back up at him.
@Hong Jonghyun "Really? That's...nice to hear." Choa smiled and chuckled softly. She wasn't expecting him to reply with anyone in particular, but she wasn't expecting him to say her either. "Yeah, let's go. How much was it by the way? I'll share the cost." She stood up, but before she left, she turned to him and took her wallet out, ready to pay her portion of the bill.
@Hong Jonghyun "I thought I was starting to bore you." She admitted, chuckling sheepishly. "I probably talk a lot." Either that, or Jonghyun was too reserved, but it was most likely just her. "Who do you normally talk to? You usually don't talk a lot, but there must be someone you can share your feelings with?" She hummed lightly, letting go of the straw for a while as she glanced up at him.
@Hong Jonghyun She chuckled at his similar reaction, before glancing down at her cup. It was now completely empty, save the ice cubes and the fancy looking straw, and Jonghyun was close to finishing his as well. "Where should we go after this? Should we go somewhere else, or would you rather head back to the company?" She hummed softly as she rested her chin on her hands.
@Hong Jonghyun "Yeah, it's easier said than done." She sighed softly and swirled her drink around with the straw in her cup, before taking a big sip to finish the drink. "Oh, it's cold." She made a face as she swallowed it down, laughing a little knowing that she probably looked stupid doing that.
@Hong Jonghyun She chuckled softly and nodded, pulling back to her seat. "She's worried for you too. You know how mothers are." The waiter came over to clear the plates for them, and Choa thanked him with a smile before he bowed slightly and brought the plates away. "I'm sure my mother wouldn't mind helping to watch out. You have to take care of yourself too, don't let it affect your health as well."
@Hong Jonghyun "It must be hard on you." Choa murmured and sighed softly. "Her condition isn't very bad, is it? If not, you can always ask the CEO to give you some time off? I'm sure he'll understand." She reached over to pat his shoulder reassuringly with a soft smile. "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be fine. I'll ask my mother to keep an eye on her if you'd like?"
@Hong Jonghyun "Oh" She trailed off, her frown getting deeper as she too, lowered her gaze slightly. "Is everything okay?" She lowered her voice and asked gently, glancing back up at him with a worried look. Almost immediately, choa thought of Jonghyun's mother, whom she had met a while ago when they went back to visit their parents. She was a kind, gentle and friendly lady who shared a lot in common with Choa's own mother, and she couldn't imagine if anything bad happened to her.
@Hong Jonghyun Choa blinked, slightly confused at his words. "Nothing to do with this? But surely things won't be exactly the same?" She frowned lightly as she watched him sigh. "Are you...unhappy that you're in Royal Ent?" She wasn't intending to condemn him if he was, she was just confused at his sigh.
@Hong Jonghyun "Mmm but shouldn't you just leave them as they are? If things turned out differently, you probably won't be here today." She finished the last piece of her chicken and placed her utensils down, before glancing up at Jonghyun with an intrigued smile.
@Hong Jonghyun "But you still look quite young." She laughed lightly, "Besides, you're not that old." She scrunched her nose up before laughing softly again. She glanced down at her plate, which was almost empty already before glancing back up at him. "Would you rewind time and go back to the past if you could?"
@Hong Jonghyun "I see. I guess sometimes the best way to learn is the hard way." Choa sighed softly and smiled. "I heard the trainees are all really young and talented. I'm looking forward to seeing them perform." She chuckled and took a sip of her drink.
