@Byun Baekhyun oh- yeah, that's true. /mutters a little sheepishly as you nudge my
shoulder with yours, reaching up to scratch at my nape before
following you with my gaze and taking note of the small smile on
your lips. no, no, it's okay. they're just clothes, like you said. /shakes
my head a little and gets up myself, tugging at the shirt with a
small laugh. i mean as long as you wash them - then it's okay.
but i can't focus on the movie, so let's do something else, yeah?
/turns you around by your shoulders so that you face the way
to your room and snakes my arms around you with a yawn,
waddling you away from the tv in a backhug while i rest my
chin on your shoulder sleepily. we can talk, talking is easy.

@Oh Sehun /bites my lips, wondering if being so straightforward really
was the right idea when i can sense how awkward and uncomfortable
you’ve suddenly become. looks over to you and notices you tugging
at the shirt but makes no comment on it as you reassure me that
you’re fine, preferring not to question you as to why you seem so
bothered by it all in the first place when it’s simply clothes.
what? you- you want to leave? /i snap out of my daze when those
words leave your lips and i can’t help the immense feeling of
disappointment growing in my chest. i thought you told me
that you were going to keep me company tonight, hm?
/i nudge your shoulders playfully in an attempt to lighten the
awkward atmosphere and stands up from the couch whilst
tugging at the hem of my shirt and throwing you a weak smile.
if the clothes really bother you then i can look for something else.

@Byun Baekhyun oh, wow. okay. /mumbles under my breath with mild surprise
as you turn your attention back to the film, tugging at the shirt
a little and eyeing the slacks before breathing out an awkward
chuckle. i don't really know how to feel about wearing your no
strings attached co-worker's clothes, considering why he'd be
here wearing them, but i'll just act like i don't know he wears
these after you two . /speaks sheepishly and ruffles my hair
a little, trying to focus on the film as well and managing to do so
for about five minutes, until the clothes really start to bug me and
i shift around on the couch, running a hand through my hair again.

@Oh Sehun /watches you leave the room with the clothes and sits
down on the couch, sprawling my legs out comfortably
as i focus on the movie although that doesn’t last long
when you come back a few minutes later dressed in the
new clothing that i gave you. those fit you pretty well.
/brings my legs back, hugging them to my chest to
make room for you on the couch and admiring how good you
look in such simple clothing; blinks, a little caught off
by your question. those are actually one of my coworker’s
clothes- we’re not dating or anything like that. he just likes
to. . . spend the night occasionally, so it’s convenient that he
has a change of clothes at my place. /clears my
throat, hoping you won’t pry any further as i avert my
attention back to the television and try my best to catch up
with the storyline.

@Byun Baekhyun mm? /raises an eyebrow at your words and awkward
behaviour, finding both mildly entertaining as i sit back
against the couch again. i think highly of everyone, it's
okay - i'm used to both disappointment and success. /shrugs
gleefully and watches you leave the room before turning
my attention back to the movie, making myself comfortable
again the moment you come back with a small bundle
of clothes and therefore looking up at you instead. oh-
thanks. /smiles lightly and takes them from you, trying to
bite back a grin at how awkward you're being before i stand
up and head to the bathroom. i'll be back in a second.
/closes the door and a few minutes later, emerges into
the living room again in your sweats and t-shirt, tugging
at the soft material as i sit down again. this actually
fits me, i wasn't expecting it to. is it one of your boyfriends'
old shirts? cause it must be too big for you. /glances at
you curiously.

@Oh Sehun /eyes widen as you reach over to kiss the top of my head
and bites my lips nervously, rubbing my palms against my knees
out of habit as i force out an awkward laugh. i have to say that
i’m flattered that you think so highly of me. you should keep
your expectations low or i’m afraid you’ll be disappointed.
/slips out of your hold and gets up from the couch, rubbing my
nape sheepishly. you’re probably a bit uncomfortable
in your clothes so i’ll get you something to change into. um-
i’ll be right back. /takes this is a chance to leave the room and
rushes to my closet, looking for any articles of oversized clothing
that would seem to fit you and comes back moments later
with a t-shirt and sweats in hand, looking away from you as i
hand them over. you can change into these if you want to.

@Byun Baekhyun pfft whatever -- /stops and widens my eyes a little at the
sound of you mewling, chewing on the inside of my cheek
and shuffling around a bit on the couch to distract myself
awkwardly while you have a sip of your tea ; looks at you
with quirked eyebrows when you speak and hums at the
question, slipping an arm around your waist to tug you
a bit closer to me when you rest your head on my shoulder.
well. i'm certainly attracted to you, for a start - you've
got this mild sort of 'i don't give a ' attitude that i
really like. and you seem intelligent and independent. and -
/pauses to hum again and turns my head to kiss the top
of your hair. i think you're rather cute and tempting. oops.
/gives your waist a small squeeze, grinning with amusement
and running my hand slowly up and down your side now.

@Oh Sehun are you kidding me? if i ever got the chance to meet him then of course i
would. it’s a once in a lifetime thing, sehun. /accidently lets a mewl slip
out as you continue running your hand up and down my back and pulls
away from you, sitting up as i reach over to grab my cup of tea and blows
at it softly to cool it down before taking a sip and stares at the cup
absentmindedly, not paying much attention to the actual movie. since
you asked me then it’s also fair that i get to ask you. what are your
impressions of me? /sets my cup down and leans back on the couch,
resting my head against your shoulder, letting out a yawn.

@Byun Baekhyun you trust me with choosing, then? oh i'm kind of flattered right now. heh.
/chuckles and raises an eyebrow at you when you stretch out across my lap,
stomach down, but doesn't object and only your back absently,
leaning into the back of the couch and occasionally fiddling with your hair
as i grab the remote and click 'play' on the film. captain america? i agree
with you, he's pretty great. although i bet you wouldn't take pictures of him
to show off to your co-workers if you could. /speaks in a slightly huffy tone
during my last words before clearing my throat and mumbling 'whatever' as
i focus on the film, which has now begun, and just keep running my hand
up and down your back slowly.

@Oh Sehun /mouth falls agape in shock as i watch the fond interaction between you two,
quickly composing myself to hide my disappointment and crossing my arms
over my chest as raise a brow at you. it seems like we’re opposites. i don’t
watch horror- or at least i try not to and i’m not too much of a fan of crime shows.
/scratches my cheek sheepishly as i stare off at the screen. i don’t even watch
romcoms or chick flicks… that much. mm, sure. i haven’t seen that one but
i trust that whatever you’re choosing to be good so. /sprawls over the couch,
laying flat on my stomach over your lap so i can reach over to scratch mitten’s
ears, failing to hold back a yawn. something manly? i don’t really watch
action movies unless it’s the avengers because captain america is gorgeous.
how about we just settle with ‘about time’ then?

one of them steaming and filled with coffee ; smiling with amusement at
the way you cross your legs over my lap and how mittens turns to glare
at you when you him. damn, he actually does hate you. /muses to
myself with a smug smile and turns my attention back to the tv, resting my
hands on your legs and drumming my fingers as i think. usually i go for
crime shows or horror films but - that selection of chick flicks looks cute,
and so do the romcoms. /chuckles and points my finger at one particular
suggestion, turning my head to glance at you. 'about time' is supposed
to be good, i mean, it's an english film so it probably is -- unless you're
in the mood for something manly and not romantic? /quirks an eyebrow
at you and reaches over to fix your bangs a little, before dropping my hand
to mittens' back and stroking him absently, to which he does nothing but purr.

@Oh Sehun /nods and grabs two mugs from the cabinet before i start
preparing coffee for you and goes on to make green tea for
myself while the coffee is still brewing; walks back into the living
room minutes later with both mugs in hand and sets them down
on the table, plopping down on the couch and crossing my legs
over your lap. be careful since the drinks are still hot.
/blinks as i notice mittens besides your feet and reaches down
to his fur, pulling my hand away when he turns around
to glare at me and clears my throat, diverting my attention
to the tv screen and the various selection of shows and movies
to choose from. so what kind of shows do you like to watch?
/casually leans over to take the remote from you and scrolls through
my suggestions of animated movies, comedies and romantic chick flicks.

you to actually answer that question, but thank you - at least
i can brag about my neighbour being infatuated with me now. heh.
/listens to your suggestions and hums quietly in response as i
keep rubbing your sides absently until you roll off of me and snap
me out of an almost sleepy daze, especially because of the
remote you chuck at me ; catches it before it crashes into my
face and immediately switches to netflix, sitting up a bit on the
couch and bringing my knees to my chest comfortably. hmm?
do you have any coffee? i feel like pulling an all nighter, it might
help get some more paintings finished. /calls out without looking
away from the tv and gets distracted by the shows on offer,
barely noticing how mittens has crept back into the room and
tentatively sneaks onto the couch before he lies down across my feet. hmm-

besides you on the couch and smiles bashfully.
you’re really cute but i don’t think it’s something romantic-
i guess you could call it infatuation? so if i had to say then it would
probably be more of a ual attraction. /sighs, resting my cheek
against your chest and closes my eyes when you begin rubbing
my sides slowly, humming in appreciation. i was going to shower
since it helps me sleep but i don’t want to make you wait or
anything. besides, you did tell me you were going to keep
me company tonight so it doesn’t matter. /rolls off of you and
turns on the tv, tossing the remote control to you before walking
into the kitchen to fix us something to drink; stares at my cupboard
as i contemplate what to make and peeks out of the kitchen door.

mittens hisses and meows at me and only making myself

blowing out air after as i eye you with slight annoyance.

the elevator as soon as we reach our floor and unlocks my
the door to my apartment, closing the door after you welcome
yourself in and kicks off my shoes. showering together does
save water after all heh. /walks over to the couch only
to be greeted with a pissed off mittens glowering
at you and covers my mouth as i can’t help but laugh at
the situation and leans down besides the couch with my
knees on the floor, resting my elbows on your chest as i
reach over to pick up mittens who hisses at me in return
and pecks him on the head before setting him down when he starts
flailing in my grasp; watches him scurry away, most likely to
my bedroom, before turning my attention back to you.
i hope that’s a lesson learned for you. /sighs and crosses my
arms over your chest, staring at you blankly. so um,
is there anything specific you want to do? i think i’m too
tired for board games at this point.

/teases you by speaking in a stern voice and then settles
down for the rest of the ride with another pleased chuckle,
looking up when we arrive and leaving the car with you
to enter the building ; blinks once or twice as i process
your words, which makes me slow down a little on our
way to the elevator, and then rushes forward to get in
when the doors start closing. i can't tell if you're actually
thirsting for me or just joking- i mean you took pictures
of me to brag to your co-workers about, i wouldn't put it
past you to shower with me and tell them that too. /raises
my eyebrows at you with amusement and ruffles your hair
patronisingly, wearing a eating grin as the elevator
stops and we walk out into the corridor towards your apartment ;
leaning against the wall beside your door as you unlock it
and then following you in without permission once it's open.
i'm coming in, shower or not -- although i wouldn't mind one
with you. /shrugs and grins truthfully as i kick my shoes off
and flop down on the couch where mittens was sleeping
peacefully just a second ago - he now meows in my face
with distaste before settling on the arm, glowering at me.

attempt at covering it up and sends you a glare.
he’s the only reason we even met in the first place, idiot.
/coughs into my fist, biting my cheek nervously as i scrounge
my pocket for my car keys, pulling them out and unlocking
the door before getting in. are you still going to call this
whole thing a date? but i have to admit, that was pretty
good acting. /puffs out my cheeks, swatting your hand
away so i can start the car and starts driving back towards
our apartment, feeling a bit suspicious and unsettled as
you chuckle about something out of the blue. it must
be fun to be so free. enjoy it while it lasts.
/glances at the time on the car which shows that it’s
already close to 11:30 and pulls up into our complex garage,
quickly locating a parking spot before getting settled
and unbuckles my seatbelt. i still have to shower so
you can either wait or feel free to join me. /laughs,
throwing you a wink as we enter the elevator and presses
the button for our floor.

@Byun Baekhyun monopoly? i haven't played that since i was a kid. /chuckles
with amusement and gets up when you do so yourself
and signal for me to do the same, brushing my jeans down
before following you down the hill cheerfully. hmm? oh,
yeah, the cat. i forgot he existed for a moment. /mutters
to myself and coughs to cover it up, glancing over at you
when i hear your mumbled words and letting out a quiet
laugh in response to them. we've kissed and felt each
other up, i'm pretty sure we're on better terms than the
typical awkward first date couple. even if it was just acting.
/shrugs and nudges your shoulder with a grin, following
you back to your car and getting into the passenger seat
before reaching over to playfully tug at your cheek. but
i'll come over, yeah, i don't have anything planned for
tomorrow so i might as well exploit your sleeping problem
as much as i can. /smiles smugly to myself and gets
comfortable in my seat, shaking my hair out of my eyes
and chuckling a bit when i recall how you suggested we play
monopoly, which was such a pure and adorable interpretation
of my suggestion about doing other things.

hated you at first because you woke me up from my wonderful nap

breath as i admire the scenery once more and turns to you with an

placing my elbow over my mouth as i sneeze, sniffling after.

shakes my hair out of my vision a little while sitting down with
you on the grass, now running a hand through my hair as i keep

about how to phrase it for a moment. when i first moved to this
place after mom finally said i could, i got lost on my first day
and didn't know where the van with all my stuff would be,
so i sort of walked around the area until i saw this hill- i figured
i could see where my removal van would be from the top, hah.

side with a small grin. i couldn't, obviously, but i kept coming
here after that anyway cause it's so relaxing. /glances over at
you and the way you look so at peace, my grin subsiding to a
smile ; reaches over to fix a few stray strands of your hair into
place and shuffles closer to do so, now slightly distracted by
your attractive features glowing from all the sources of light
and letting my hand slip from your hair to your jaw, cupping it
absently. it's pretty nice here, huh? it always gives me the actual
courage to do stuff, too, for some reason -- maybe the tree's magic.

at least i don’t think so. i just have trouble falling asleep at night in
general so i stay up doing anything to kill time or i just lay in bed
for a while until i finally do. i’ll consider that next time but i wouldn’t
want to disturb you. /looks ahead to where you’re pointing and
feels my face drop at how steep the hill is, giving your hand a small
squeeze when you take my hand in yours and begin quickening your
pace until we’re basically running towards the destination; struggles
keeping up with you as we run up the hill, hoping you would slow
down at least the slightest bit but you don’t seem to notice and i let
go of your hands once we reach the top, leaning over as i
place my hands on my knees to calm down my breathing and slowly
looks up, eyes widening as i’m greeted with a view of the whole
city glowing in the night. oh. . . wow. . . /blinks, letting you steer
me towards your desired spot and smiles brightly to myself as i
take in the breathtaking view, only now noticing how your body
is pressed against mine and hums in agreement.
it’s really nice, sehun. /takes your hand and sits down on the
grass, bringing my knees up to my chest. can we maybe just
sit here for a moment? /stares off at the city silently and closes my
eyes for a moment, feeling at peace for the first time in a while.
so how did you manage to find this place?

stopping and turning my head to look at you with a mildly shocked
expression. you have insomnia? as in, medically diagnosed insomnia,
or you just find it hard to get to sleep? /speaks with a worried undertone
and reaches out to tug at your cheek gently as i turn my attention
back to our surroundings to make sure we're on the right path. if you
ever need help falling asleep, just call me, yeah? i'll come over immediately.
ah- /points ahead of us to the large hill that's already sloping upwards
from where we're standing in response to your question, a wide smile
curling my lips up as i look at you again. that's it, right underneath the
biggest tree - you can see the whole city and the river from there.
/takes your hand in mine again and starts tugging you up the hill at a
fast walk, looking forward to the view that i start jogging and then
break into a happy run despite the steepness of the ground ; not
stopping until we reach the top, where i awkwardly let go of your
hand after a moment because i'd started to brush your knuckles with
my thumb affectionately, and coughs instead. over there the view's
just a little better- /steers you to my desired spot under the biggest
tree by your shoulders and stands you straight ahead, resting my
chin on your shoulder with my hands running up and down your arms
absently. it's nice, isn't it? /mumbles happily and noses at the base
of your neck before shifting my attention to the glittering city lights too.

@Oh Sehun /slides an arm around your waist as well and smiles sweetly
at kyungsoo as we walk pass and leave the restaurant
and begin walking back towards my car, eying you curiously when
you suddenly grab my wrist and pull me away just as
i’m about to get out my keys and begin dragging me down the street
with you although i follow without restraint and end up walking
besides you. even if you were to try anything, i hope you know that
i’ve taken years of taekwondo. who knew you were the romantic
type though. /hums thoughtfully to myself and nods as i realize that the
sun has already set and that it’s already night by now, taking out
my phone to check the time. oh wow. it’s already ten. /bumps my
shoulder back against yours playfully as i mumble; i would sleep
early if i could but sadly i have insomnia or something. i’m actually
worried about you since i hope you’re not staying up past your bedtime,
kiddo. /chuckles, turning my head towards you as i observe your
features in the moonlight, taking note of how defined and handsome
they really are and looks at the ground instead when i realize that
i might have been staring for too long. so where is this so called special
place that you wanted to take me to, hm?

@Byun Baekhyun /parts my lips for you when you start nibbling on my bottom one and
slides my hand slowly up your thigh until you pull away at the sound of
a cough and then turn around to the awkward waiter ; watches him
with obvious amusement as i don't even try to bite back a grin,
looking at the way he shuffles off while you pay the bill and noting
the way his face has gone bright red. huh? oh, yeah. let's go. /nods
and stands up after you do, sliding out of the booth and slipping an
arm around your waist whilst pulling you close to my side, giving you a
squeeze when we walk past our original waiter and smiling at him
obliviously as he just scowls back ; leads you out of the restaurant and
follows you to your car before stopping you from getting in with a hum.
no, wait. i'm in the mood for a walk - this is a nice area so it's fine, right?
/grins at you and pulls you away from the car door, instead grabbing
your hand and pulling you down a street that leads to a large park ;
shoving my free hand into the pocket of my jeans. it's already dark? i thought
it was supposed to be summer. psh. or- what time is it? /looks over at
you curiously, bumping my shoulder against yours as we walk past
a few occupied benches. i want to show you my favourite spot in this
park, whatever time it is, so i hope you don't mind if it's terribly late already.
you seem like the type who goes to bed early every night, even on fridays. heh.

@Oh Sehun /squeezes your thigh as you press your lips against mine,
making no move to respond to your kiss at first but eventually
gives in and just as i start kissing back you manage to pull
away and frowns, eying you almost impatiently and mutters
under my breath. yeah, whatever. /places a hand on your
shoulder as i lean in towards you, lips moving against yours
as i subconsciously trail my other hand further up, almost
brushing against your crotch and begins nibbling on your
lower lip but pulls away at the sound of someone
coughing awkwardly behind us before we got too carried
away; turns around to notice that it’s not kyungsoo but a
new waiter and he tries avoiding my gaze as he cautiously
slides the check onto our table and stares off sadly at
kyungsoo who’s too busy serving another customer.
‘u-um… if you two could please refrain from uh…
making out then that would be great. other customers
are trying to eat here.’ /he mumbles and does a 90 degree
bow before leaving us to the check and i can’t help but
laugh as soon as he’s gone. turns out we had to pay for
the check anyways. /scoots away from you
and reaches into my back pocket to pull out my
wallet, checking the bill and taking out the appropriate
amount of cash along with the tip and places it on the table.
should we get going now?

@Byun Baekhyun it was actually the first painting i ever made - although
it was _____, so i don't think it even counts as abstract
art heh. but hey, i was only a kid and i finally smiled.
/looks up with mild curiosity when you stand up and slide
into the booth right beside me, the hand on my leg making
me raise an amused eyebrow and your question bringing a look
of confusion onto my face for a moment ; realising when
i turn my head to look at you that it must look like we're
kissing to them, a laugh now threatening to burst past
my lips as i mumble to you with as little lip movement as

genuine kiss with the hopes of our waiter asking us to leave
for being too disruptive, the thought making me smile
as i pull back for just a moment to mutter 'kiss back and
we might be able to leave without paying' and then slide
my lips back onto yours with the perfected impatience of
a legitimate boyfriend.
