Hospital

hyoyeon entered the facility and tried to find the doctors so her wounds can be treated.

@Victoria Her mind had already moved on to the next few patients she had to visit after this, thoroughly going through their patient files which she had memorized as soon as she had been assigned to to take care of them. So when she heard the female's voice next to her, she could only blankly stare at her for a moment before her brain slowly started to process the things Victoria had said. It took her a moment to realize what she had been asked for, another few seconds in which she tried to reason with herself if she should accompany the other female or not. Down there in the admission ward there were patients waiting for her, but up here it might be something important for the hospital. Although she was just a soon-to-doctor, she had deep connections to the hospital's chairman thanks to her parents. At the young age of six she had already accompanied them to many banquets, slowly getting to know the most important people from the medical department. So even if she attended the meeting, if it really were only 10 minutes, would it be okay?

Slowly she nodded in response as she had made her decision, the smile remaining on her lips. " Alright. But only ten minutes. After that I need to go to see my patients." Reaching out for the offered hand, Hyeyeon shook it lightly. "But no need to treat me to dinner. I'll probably stay in the hospital till late at night since I need to finish some researches." A lie, but also a half truth. Although she still had some time left until the research had to be done, she just didn't feel like meeting anyone after a long day at work.

@Hyeyeon Victoria followed behind her, as she looked the doctor over she would have guessed model if she hadn't been in a hospital with a name tag on. Her mind went to her pitch of the new hospital VIP wing and how to promote the hospital with y young doctors and excellent medical care. Her lips formed a smile as she kept pace with her. "Hyeyeon, so I have another little presumption and inconvenience, would you mind joining me in my meeting. You see I'm running the new marketing campaign for your hospital and your beautiful face gave me some inspiration. Please say you will help me. I make sure they know I forced you with me and you won't get penalized if they do that here."

Victoria stopped her pitch as they reached the office, which was in the first hallway off the elevator. She smirked to herself when she realized she wouldn't have gotten lost in the first place. She straightened her pencil skirt and blazer, before looking back up at the doctor.

"I know it is an odd request but if I can show them my pitch and get out of there in ten minutes, I will treat you to dinner and show my appreciation the proper way." Victoria gave a smile and offered her hand in deal.

@Victoria It was just another busy day in the hospital, starting with her chasing after a confused patient who had decided to go home on his own, despite the fact that he was supposed to stay in the hospital for at least another week. although she really liked her work in the hospital, she sometimes wished that she had a much easier job, one where she didn't have to work with such difficult people. But then again all this was just another step towards her ultimate life goal so she just had to hang in there for a bit longer until she could finally become a neurosurgeon and move into a less noisy ward.

getting into the elevator with a stack of folders in her arm, she pressed the button for the fifth floor, closing her eyes for a moment. Only when she heard a female voice next to her, her eyelids fluttered open again and she turned towards the woman who was talking to her. Eyeing her for a moment, while listening to her request, she then nodded slightly. If that person had to go to the administration office she might be someone important. "Sure." Slightly, the corners of her lips curled up into a smile. after all, leaving a good impression on possible investors was one of the most important things according to both her parents and the hospital's chairman. "Just follow me please."

once the elevator reached the right floor, she stepped out of the cubic, heading straight towards the administration office, careful to keep her pace down, which was actually harder than thought, for someone who was used to rush from one place to an other.

@Hyeyeon Victoria walked into the hospital in her heels, clacking to the front desk to ask for the administration office. She had spent a better part of the morning trying to pawn off this new account to one of the junior marketing assistance, but her boss had basically dangled a promotion in front of her face. So here she was. Victoria thanked the receptionist as she directed her to the elevator. Getting on she smiled at the pretty doctor, who caught her eye it gave her an idea. 
Victoria absent-mindedly stared at the woman seeing her badge say Hyeyeon, she made a note so herself to find out more about her. Victoria had her ways, to get what she wanted. When everyone else had finally gotten off, leaving them alone Victoria made her move. "Hi, I'm Victoria. I know this is way out of left field, but would you happen a minute to spare. I'm on my way up to the administration office and I have a fear of getting lost. Could you take me to the head administrative office?"

@Yura She could clearly feel how the other's mood was dropping with each second passing by, but honestly, she couldn't care less. She knew that Miss Kim was in pain and that touching her wounds wouldn't make anything better, but still she was just doing her job. And if it was neccessary to poke that spot, then she would do it, no matter if her patient liked it or not. Almost she had hissed at the other female, telling her to go and see an other doctor if she didn't like the way she was working, but telling herself what her parents had told her about being a good doctor, Hyeyeon pushed back the slight irritation she was feeling. Instead she forced herself to keep that friendly smile up while she wrote down what Yura was telling her.

"Well since you can move your arm i don't think that it's broken. probably just a contusion. For now it's best to cool the spot and to not overexstrain your arm. Also I'll write you a presciption for an ointment. It helps to make the swelling go down so make sure to put it on twice a day." while talking, hyeyeon had already started typing into her computer, clicking on the button to print out the prescription. "I know it will be hard for you, but I mean it. Do not do anything too irksome for your arm, like sport, lifting up heavy stuff or even painting." Looking straight into the other's eyes, she waited for a reaction, before she went on talking. "Alright. If your headache gets worse you should immediately come back, same goes for the pain in your arm. If not then you can come back for a second checkup in four days. Alright?"

@Hyeyeon Yura hissed when he felt the pression, almost tugging her arm out of the doctor's because it had really hurt but she managed to stop herself from doing and also tried of not glare to the doctor, she might have an innocent face but it didn't convince her at all and she was feeling in a worst mood as time passed in here.

Yura almost rolled her eyes but did as she asked, moving her arm a bit slowly and wincing sometimes "It's like a pulling pain, something making pressure and it's around six" she said, stopping the motions because it was making it hurt more and soon she was going to get lightheaded.

@Yura slightly leaning forward, Hyeyeon extended her left arm as she reached out for the female's wrist to make sure that she wouldn't move around too much while she was taking a look at the injury. No blood, no visible external wounds, just reddened skin, at a few areas already turning slightly blue, probably just a haematoma. Exactly what her colleague had already predicted. there would probably be no need for an X-ray, but of course she couldn't be all too sure, before she had finished her examination.

With her right arm she then reached out for the upper arm of Miss Kim, slightly pushing on the biggest of the bruises, carefully watching the female's reaction. Although people had different sensitivity for pain, by now, after spending so much time in the hospital since little on, Hyeyeon could easily tell if someone was overexaggerating or not.

"Alright." Letting go of her patient's arm, Hyeyeon sat back into her chair, jotting down a few notes before she looked up again. "now could you please move your arm in a circular motion, fisrt forward, then backward. If you feel any pain while doing so could you please explain what kind of pain it is, for example if it's a stinging pain or more like a pulling. And from a scale from 0 to 10, with zero being no pain, how would you rate it?"

@Hyeyeon Yura stepped inside and sat where she was leaded to, her eyes examining the features of her doctor and noticing she had really pretty hair, also, her face had a sort of sweetness, was it? No, innocence, more like it. Trustable. Too bad Yura didn't trust easily and she followed each movement with her eyes, listening carefully to each word she said.

She sounded dismissing to her ears and she didn't like that but she also wanted to know if her arm was okay and get the hell out of here so she just nodded and rolled carefully her sleeve up, revealing her redish looking arm and Yura was pretty sure that this was going to bruise but she also bruised easily so she wasn't so surprised on it. She sighed and waited for the girl to examine her, trying to be calmed.

@Yura Her eyes were still glued on the computer screen when she heard the soft knock on her door. Calling the patient in, Hyeyeon turned around in the swivel chair, now focusing on the rather tall female who was entering. just by looking at her expression and the way her eyes were slightly shaking, she could tell how nervous the other one was probably feeling. Not that there was actually anything to be nervous about. Pointing at the chair in front of her desk, she asked the female to sit down before she busily spread out the files on her desk.

Once Miss Kim had settled down, still looking like a lost puppy, Hyeyeon looked at her for a moment, a warm and friendly smile forming on her lips. She didn't really like the nervous kind of patients as some of them were quite erratic, but hopefully this female would cause no trouble.

"Well Miss Kim. From what I've read you've been involved in a minor accident? Several contusions on your back, legs and arms, a slight headache but everything seems to be fine. of course we can't say it for sure since sometimes head injuries only show some aftereffects after some time has passed, but judging from the first examination it's nothing too serious." The smile was remaining on her lips as she looked up from the files, looking straight into the eyes of the patient in front of her. "Also...it says that you've been complaining about pain in your right arm? If you could roll up your sleeve for me to take a closer look, please?"

@Hyeyeon Yura had been having a great day. No, seriously, without sarcasms. Her day had been completely perfect since the moment she had woken up. Her coffee tasted divine, the toasts were not burn and not too soft, her hair decided to collaborate with her for once and the perfect clothes was ready for her to use, just waiting on her closet for Yura to look on it.

It was a perfect morning.

That should have been her first clue that this was going to be a ty day. Yura had taken her bag and hanged it on her shoulder, taking a light jacket for later on and locked the door of her apartment behind her, walking out the building and starting his way to her gallery, all in a good mood, a light smile on her face as she walked.

It had came with no warning. The stupid guy had tried to beat the red light and accelerated when she was starting to cross the street, making a lot of noise when it suddenly stopped but it had been late enough as to bump Yura with it and push her a few meters away. Yura was disoriented, her head was slightly buzzing, her back hurt just like her right knee but more was her arm... Her right painter arm. Yura had started to panic them, first saying that she couldn't feel her arm then being on pain for it, being nervous all the travel on the ambulance and making the poor doctor that first saw her very nervous with her constant asking and panic. But she was on her right! Painting was all she was good on, what she loved and if she lose her arm, she just wouldn't know what to do. Finally, after being calmed down, she had to pass to see the head doctor, waling a hit rigidly to her office and knocking before entering, peeking inside the office.

"Hello? I'm Kim Ahyoung" she said, stepping inside and looking to the young doctor sitting behind the desk, her nervousness barely being controlled.

@Yura Staring at the computer screen in her tiny office, Hyeyeon was concentrating on the newest results from one of her patient's CAT scan. Well not exactly her patient since it was still a long way to go before she would eventually become a neurosugeon, but since her father was good friends with the head physician of the department of neurology, the female was allowed to assist in a few cases. It was mainly doing the paperwork or carrying around the files, but still it was one step closer to her life goal.

A glance at her wristwatch told her that it was almost time for her to go back to the emergency ward since her lunch break was about to end. Quickly she shoved the loose files back into their folder before she turned off her computer, her hand reaching out for her white overall while she rushed out of the room. Taking a deep breath, Hyeyeon forced the corners of her lips to curl up into a friendly smile before she quickly walked into the admission ward. There were other places she'd rather been, but since she knew that everyone who was striving to become a doctor had to undergo these clinical rotations in order to gain work experience, she didn't complain.

Smiling at the head nurse, the young doctor reached out for the files that had started to pile up since she had left for her lunch break, already knowing that it would be a really long day. flipping open the first folder, her eyes quickly scanned through the patient's data before she went to the examination room, signalizing a nurse to call in the first patient. "Kim Ahyoung. tell her to come into my room."

Once she was in the office, she settled down at the desk, her fingers flying across the keyboard of the computer as she logged in to open Miss Kim's files on her computer screen. "Hmmm....a minor accident. a hand injury..." Mumbling to herself, Hyeyeon carefully read through the tiny report by the doctor who had done the first rough examination on the patient, noticing a tiny note written in red.

'patient is a painter. a bit hysterical. try to keep her calm.'
