i'm putting far too much time into this for something i won't continue.

Considering this is not a medieval roleplay, what point does a class really have? Just like in actual RPGs, however, not everyone actually is any of these (or utilizes their natural talents for it)! Maybe you're a street corner baker, or a regular student - perhaps the baker is a mage, utilizing their magic to cook when otherwise frightened customers aren't looking; or the student a rogue, using their abilities to cheat on tests, up to the teacher, gather info, etc. Choose the one that fits your character best!

Warriors are often of noble birth, part of a (protective) military order, or a gang - protective, often the last one standing, sometimes a genuinely noble person; otherwise someone very hot-headed.
- Champions are those who genuinely want to protect; the skills taught for this are largely defensive; popular among rich folks and pure do-gooders.
- Templars are 'guards' (secret military order, more like) who are supposed to protect and defend mages and non-mages from each other, though this is not always the case. This specialization comes from the church, and so, is the one more common among orphans or the poor.
- Reavers ride the line of death, this specialization indicates fighting to kill, no doubt. High offensive, think competitive in the more aggressive way; a means to an end.

worth noting: you can also decide on whether you want to be two-handed (aka one GIGANTIC sword/maul/thing) or have a less gigantic sword/maul/thing and a shield. character building and all; full on damage or safety first.

Rogues are spies and musicians, often tip-toed and barely there - or very much there, but looking as though they belong; even if they've never been.
- Bards are the most political of all, always a tale to tell, often to distract; diplomats; always three steps ahead of you even if you're convinced they're three steps behind. They're hired by bartenders and queens to solve and start fights with a smile and the right words. They're the most romanticized: they do the most damage, but without violence. Great diplomats.
- Assassins are sneaky bastards, though they needn't be good at what they do. Though bards are more often seen as those who start on the street, it is the assassins who learn to pickpocket before they speak and often lack the conscience to care. They may be afraid of bugs and incapable of scolding dogs, but that's not on the job.

worth noting: daggers or bow/arrows? is your character the type to get up close & personal or the type to shoot a well-aimed arrow from a safe, distant spot?

Mages
- Spirit Healer
- Battlemage
- Blood Mage

worth nothing: mages (of any kind, though battlemages focus on elements whereas spirit healers or blood mages may dabble in it alongside their specialization) can also choose which element they focus on, which is great for puns. when someone's flirting with you, they could be "breaking the ice" or "playing with fire". fire, lightning, ice/water, earth.
