The Pantheon

@Minhyuk "Mmph!" Min hummed loudly in astonishment to the young man who had scared her. Oh, she thought. She recognized the boy from the cafe she worked out and did not expect to ever talk to him. . . If she even could. At a loss for words (literally), she took a step backwards, not knowing how to respond. It wasn't everyday she had contact with a person, much less know what to say when she couldn't. She sighed, gesturing as if zipping her lips and locking it with a key, then dropping it on the floor. She happened to not have a notepad ad pen with her, which was a bother to buy sometimes with the money she made sometimes from work. Min shook her head mentally, thinking this was quite awkward.

@Min Minhyuk wandered around the pantheon in astonishment. His lips parted as he stared at each of the marble statues and each of the angles that were left. He found no interest in the amount of people around him. Everything seemed to slow down, especially the time. He didn’t know how long he had been here, but every moment was wonderful. The art in this city was outstanding – nothing could compare to it all. Slowly, his eyes parted from the statue and landed themselves on a short female. He automatically recognized her from the café he worked at, but had never gotten a clear response from. A small smile played on his lips as he walked around her and stood in front of her face. “What are you doing?” He asked, glancing up at the clear blue sky as she was doing.

@Minhyuk With a strange awe, Min stared at the beautiful marble statues, even if she did not believe in them. She unconsciously kept her hand on the marble wall, gaping, especially more at the amount of people at the place. She was filled with an intense fear of people and an intense feel of greatness. She was half-conscious with the thought of people and half-unconscious with the beauty. Amazing, she thought to herself. She looked to the blue sky, closing her eyes in wonder. She sighed happily and softly, finally forgetting the people.

@Kris Min stared at a still man, being laughed at, being made fun of. Min's blank lips contorted into a deep frown, although it seemed the man didn't notice, or even mind. With the low confidence she had, she walked towards the man, her eyes filled with sorrow and her lips unable to speak. She poked his forehead softly with her index finger, waiting for the man to look up. "What's wrong?" Min mouthed, seeing that the man did seem emotionless. . . yet a strange sad aura was set over him.

Strange, she thought, to encounter a praying man where there were false gods, at least she believed they were only fake, living a perfect and human-like life. Min was tense, her cheekbones were stiff. She was nervous nonetheless, even if she was the one who had approached the scary-looking man.

@Min Despite having lost all belief in religion since that dark night, there had never been a day when Kris did not pray for his loved one's soul to forgive him, or extract divine revenge which he was more than willing to allow if it meant it would satiate her hungering spirit. He knew it was strange, that he garnered looks from tourists. He could hear their whispered ridicules, hushed giggles. Even with closed eyes and a chin pointed towards the floor, he could even imagine their mocking fingers discreetly pointing his way, but alas, he had no concern for them.
The tall Chinese man stood before the grandest sculpture of the dome, stationed behind the velvet rope that served as a barrier between mere humans and the pious stone that would be tainted otherwise. The male's long golden fringe feathered over his thick brows, the ends tickling at his closed eyelids as he stood with his hands behind his back and his head bowed, blatantly praying with closed lips to several gods he did not believe in.
