Jiyeon smiled and closed her eyes as Taemin's melodic voice flowed around the room, humming along.
"You're really good." She commented, smiling at him sincerely.
"Do you want to hear what I've been learning on the piano? Although I'm not that good."
@Jiyeon Feeling himself get slightly nervous, Taemin began to play. He played a few bars before singing:
"White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since 18
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cos we're just under the upperhand
And go mad for a couple of grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
Ripped gloves, raincoat
Tried to swim and stay afloat
Dry house, wet clothes
Loose change, bank notes
Weary-eyed, dry throat
Call girl, no phone
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since 18
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cos we're just under the upperhand
And go mad for a couple of grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
An angel will die
Covered in white
Closed eye
And hoping for a better life
This time, we'll fade out tonight
Straight down the line
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since 18
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
They scream
The worst things in life come free to us
And we're all under the upperhand
Go mad for a couple of grams
And we don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe we fly to the Motherland
Or sell love to another man
It's too cold
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
To fly, fly
Or angels to die."
The melodies dance off his lips as his slim fingers moved over the neck of the guitar. When he finished, he smiled brightly and looked at Jiyeon for her opinion.
@Taemin "Same reason." Jiyeon was hurt at how Taemin could so easily be calm and casual, but tried not to show it.
"Are you crazy? The reason why you're here...?"
Jiyeon heard a sound and turned around, her wavy, caramel-colored hair flipping in the process, and she froze at the familiar face.
After what seemed like hours, she managed to say something.
"T-Taemin?"
@Taemin Jiyeon sneaked into the Music Room, her gaze averted to the grand-looking brown, oak-wood piano. She stepped over and plopped herself down onto the posh, red-velvet cushioned stool. She gently laid her fingers on the 'A' piano key, then 'A Flat', before starting to play Yiruma's River Flows In You.
Jiyeon's slim fingers softly fluttered across the white-and-black piano keys as the monarch butterfly would flitter and flutter over the flower garden. She replaced the broken keys with a melodic hum, and her eyelids slowly fell down, like the pull-down curtains she used to have in her real home.
Suddenly, a specific mushroom-headed boy popped into her mind. Lee Taemin. The one she was forced to be separated from as she moved here. Her fingers suddenly stiffened, as his smiling face floated in her head. She imagined him wrapping his arms around her and placing his chin on her shoulder, putting his hands on hers and teaching her to play the music piece, that she had just stopped playing, just like before.
"Taemin..." Jiyeon whispered into the air.
( otl i'm bored so i just made a descriptive and stupidly dramatic paragraph. )
@Tiffany "Go tell her. You have nothing to lose. But you might lose something wonderful if you don't tell her.." Taeyeon tilted the girls head up. "Come on..You can do it! Everything will be fine."
@Taeyeon Tiffany paused and just shook her head. Not believing a single word that the teacher was saying. Why would someone pick a broken girl over a normal one?
@Tiffany "She's not going to leave..She hasn't left you already has she? Then why would she leave you now?" Taeyeon said. She was soon going to drag Tiffany with her to this girl and tell her herself that Tiffany had feelings for her.
@Taeyeon "That's nice, but I doubt it." Tiffany frowned and looked down before just closing her eyes. Not wanting to see anything. Not wanting to feel anything. "People always think that then they get to know me. They see everything that's wrong. When I need them most they leave." She shook her head. "I don't want her to leave.."
@Tiffany "Stop have so low selfesteem and believe in yourself! Of course people would adore you! You're really cute, and i i'm sure that they would love you when they got to know you. There's someone for everyone. And if this girl is the one for you, take the chance!"
@Taeyeon Tiffany's eyes widened at the thought and looked at Ms Kim hopefully. Could Jessica return these feelings? Was it possible? "W-Why would she? I'm so worthless and broken.....why would anyone adore something like me?" Finally saying that and hearing the truth. Truth if her self worth; what she thought about herself. "N-No one would.."
@Tiffany Taeyeon smiled. "If that is what you feel for her..Why don't you tell her?" She asked. "If she makes you feel safe and happy you should tell her that. Because if you don't she might never know what you really felt for her..And what if she thinks the same as you?"
@Taeyeon It took a good twenty minutes for Tiffany to calm down enough to where she could talk. "I like her a lot..." Tiffany finally said and looked up at Ms. Kim. Horrified at what she had just said and hoped the teacher would not be disgusted with her because of it. "I'm just a mess of a person. I always cry because everything is too much. I want to make her happy, she makes me happy. She makes me feel safe........really safe."
