@S. song kyungil Being the top student in most of his classes always had its perks for Taehyung. Especially when that class was Care of Magical Creatures. It was by far his favorite class simply because he was allowed to interact with animals that he wouldn't normally see on a day to day basis. So of course when he was invited to see the new baby griffins, he jumped at the chance and raced to his class long before it was actually supposed to start. Call him eager, but he really wanted to get a good feel for the griffin offspring before he had to interact with them. Books were quite different than the real thing after all. He would hate for things to go wrong.

Briefly speaking to his professor, the griffins almost immediately had the boy's attention and he didn't hesitate to push up his glasses (they had slipped down his nose in his rush) as he knelt in front of the one he automatically deemed his favorite. He marveled at its tan plumage and instantly introduced himself to the beastly creature who he had deemed as Cracker. It was a perfectly logical name for a griffin and Taehyung wouldn't have anyone tell him otherwise. If they wanted to name their griffins, they should come to class early like him and be on good terms with the professor.

Upon hearing new voices and the professor words being directed towards him, Taehyung finally glanced up to spare whatever unfortunate seventh year a bored glance because obviously they didn't understand the importance of this class. "Hello, my name is Kim Taehyung and I assume I have the misfortune of being your partner for today. I'm going to give you a little advice first, though. Mistreat the animals and you'll regret it. I don't care if you're so hoity-toity Slytherin who thinks they are entitled to everything, because newsflash, you aren't." He spoke with a blank expression, but his words definitely held an acidic bite to them. What can he say? He really cares about the animals.
