As he walked down the street with his hands shoved in his pockets, Danny mulled over the thoughts in his head. The week hadn't been very normal for him. Sure, moving to a new city meant less ghosts to deal with since Amity Park was protected by the Red Huntress, but lately he'd been seeing a few familiar, ghostly faces. Running a hand through his shaggy black hair, he turned the corner and continued to think. Someone had to have opened a ghost portal in the city, otherwise the ghosts wouldn't be here. Unlike him, they needed to be close to the Ghost Zone so they could get back home. That left him thinking about what to do tonight, and he would start by looking into the new research facility that came the same time as the ghosts appeared.

*time-skip*

Having switched into ghost form, he stood in front of the back door of the building. His hood was pulled over his head, and although the cloak hid his unearthly glow, it did nothing to hide his bright green eyes. Just as he was about to go intangible and enter the building, he heard a voice from the darkness and froze, not turning around. Although their tone of voice was playful, Danny had heard things like that before. Threats hidden behind playful banter. Two could play at that game. "My big sister told me I wasn't allowed into her room unless I knocked." he replied, turning around to reveal toxic glowing eyes and shock white hair. "Then again, this isn't my sister's room."

Richard sat at the park and looked at everyone passing him by. He wondered if they knew half of what was going on in the city. There were strange occurrences, and they seemed to be getting weirder. Richard swore that he saw a ghost the other night on patrol. He knew better. He knew that that it wasn't really a ghost. He figured that it was some sort of advanced human, a device, or an alien. He knew many people who possessed the ability to go through objects. However, it was the first time he felt as if he encountered a ghost. He got up from his seat and began to walk around. He was killing time before he had to go on patrol again.

- later that night -

After a series of flips he landed on the roof top ledge with ease. He looked out at the city below. It was hustling and bustling with life. He furrowed his eyebrows as his mask enhanced something that caught is eye. There was someone breaking into the research facility. He skillfully made his way to the person. He hid in the shadows. "Hasn't anyone told you that it isn't nice to go into big brother's room without asking?" He said in a playful tone. There was something about his tone that implied even though he was joking he meant business.
