@Im Yoona He watched the way she told the servants to leave and couldn't help but chuckle, lips curling up in an amused smile. Only once they were gone did he flick his gaze back to her, really taking a moment to look at her. She seemed fine. Healthy. Though, he probably shouldn't have expected any different.
"Ah--"
Changsung wasn't sure if being told that he had grown was a good thing or not. But, he figured /now/ wasn't the time for an argument, so he shrugged. "A few years of work will do that to you."
At the next question he paused, patting the side of his horse's neck. How had he been...? An interesting thought, but a vague answer would do.
@Hwang Chansung She was closer of Baekje than she expected. Seeing Chansung there in front of her made her sure of that, suddenly she wasn't that sure of how to act around him. She couldn't remember exactly when was the last time she saw him that close, and on the only chance that she had to see him she made herself look like a total fool. She quickly closed and decided that she wouldn't play such a role.
She looked at the servants with a serious look on her face "You may leave now" She said, keeping her voice down. When one of them seemed about to talk with her, she looked at him straight in the eyes "I said, you may leave" When they nodded and walked away, she turned her attention to Chansung.
"You have grown so much, Chansung. I can't even remember how yu were last time we saw each other. Actually I can remember, just not in details" She said, letting her lips curl up in a slight smile. She felt better that his tone and the way he directed with her showed her that he still thought that she was someone close to him. "How have you been?"
@Im Yoona Well--that wasn't who he had expected to peek their head out the window. It made him falter and become unsure. She looked different, but not so different that he didn't immediately recognize her. Especially not when she said his name.
Chansung opened his mouth before he closed it again, casting nasty looks at the servants that /were/ accompanying her. Who had been so careless to take her so far off the appropriate path? What if he had been a thief? She didn't look well protected.
Not...that he /cared/, or anything.
Trotting alongside her carriage so that he could really see her, he tipped his chin up to try and give himself an air of regality and haughtiness, so that she might think he had grown proud and worthy of respect since they had last seen each other. "Hello, Yoona."
The lack of formality gave him away, proving that he still viewed her as someone intimately close.
@Hwang Chansung Yoona once again was feeling pretty bored inside of the entourage. She calculated that by that time if they were in the right path, they would probably already at where she was supposed to be. She really wanted that travel to end faster so she could be at home as fast as possible. She was probably just homesick and wanted to be around people that she could really trust but instead, she was in a place she didn't know with some guards. Not that she didn't trust the guards, she indeed did since they were chosen by the King himself, but it wasn't the same thing. She just wished she wasn't that stubborn at the time when she said that she didn't need any other woman to come with her. She regretted it so much at that moment, anyone to talk with would be awesome at that moment.
She just seemed to wake up from her trance when all the chatting outside of the entourage stopped. She wondered why it did stop, her curiosity spoke louder than her commom sense that she should stay inside of the entourage. She looked outside and what wasn't her surprise to see someone familiar there. "Chan... Chansung?" She asked, almost in shock. Her jaw dropped before she could even stop it.
@Im Yoona He had gotten heated with one of the advisors that morning and had been unable to find his head advisor so, naturally, the response was to storm out of the castle and try and be as unfindable as possible. Which wasn't too hard, given that he had conquered and mapped these lands himself. Taking his horse, Chansung rode until he knew the end of Baekje's border was nearing.
As he led his horse towards the soothing sounds of the rolling tides, his senses were piqued. He could distinctly hear travelers, but off the top of his head couldn't remember who was supposed to be in his lands. So, naturally, he thought it might be one of those thieves that liked to run and sell their goods in Silla.
Approaching the beach, his concerns soon faded and were replaced with a knew one. He knew that entourage and those symbols as if they were his own (perhaps because, once upon a time, they had been). Boldly stopping his horse directly in front of the litter, he stared it down as if challenging the traveling party.
@Hwang Chansung Yoona was already tired of traveling. Too tired, if she could admit. But of course it wasn't in a Queen's protocole to actually say anything about how she was feeling, principally if it was something bad. So she just let out a discreet sigh and kept her composure. With her hands on her lap, she watched the paisage run through the one window. With a soft smile she watched the trees at one side and the sand at the other. It didn't took long for Yoona to actually fall asleep, with her thoughts craved on her husband and on her little son that certainly she missed too much.
When she finally opened her eyes again, she was lot for a few seconds before hearing some voices. She quickly recognized as her guards's voices. She sighed, they seemed to be arguing about something, probably a big problem. Whne she finally walked towards them to see what was happening, they bowed to her and quickly apologized "Your Majesty, I'm sorry for waking you up" One of them said and she just waved of with a soft smile "What happened?" She asked and they explained what happened. In the end, they were slightly lost. She shook her head and simply walked away from them. She wouldn't be a big help around them at that moment.
sorry to be a nuisance, but now I'm kinda second guessing my character and have some questions.
1. kim soohyun, changmin, song jaerim, ji changwook, so jisub, or top?
2. with the royal advisor position, would it be something like an eunuch or government official type of role?
Hello. I am heavily considering joining this rp, but had one question beforehand. So I notice that you require for DPs to be appropriate to the time period, but many characters won't have pictures available where they are actually in historical clothing. Can you clarify how you're defining "fitting"? Thanks!
