Aden had always been such a perfectionist and always admire things that looked sophisticated and beautiful. He spent his childhood hanging out at his parents' restaurant but he preffered to lurk around the kitchen, the sound of sizzling oil was just like a music to his ears and he always felt so amazed everytime he saw a beautiful food presented on a plate. The chefts who worked there sometimes let the little Aden tasted it and he started learning it with their help, improving his skill in cooking and creating a beautiful dish on the plate like he always wanted.
Plate after plate, he seeked for perfection. Happiness for him was to see people enjoying the food he cooked, to see the smile on their faces brought a smile on his own.
And when the time came and the job assigned to him, he felt so nervous because he felt anxious that he wouldn't like he was expected but he had a pretty good luck when it came to his job.
Soulmate? He wasn't so sure about that but Aden didn't think too much about it because he wanted to focus on his job for now.

He fumbled the keys out his jacket, breath whiffing of whiskey. The keyhole appeared to have shrinked, and so Gabe could not find his way in. Thick tears dripped down his cheeks. They landed on his new leather-boots.
Be it the alcohol or the circumstances- Gabe lost it. He started hammering against the door, kicked it, scratched it. There was nobody to hear it. No answer. No worried face to open the door and embrace him, and tell him everything would be fine. His keys had fallen to the ground. Gabriel tried to take a step back and pick it up, but he stumbled over his own feet and laded face-first on his doormat. The icy wind blew in his hair, and reminded him of his thin jacket that had caused him to go home in the first place. He found his way to his knees, catching the keys in the process, and fought his way back up to his feet. There he was. Wretched, he stared at his reflection in the door's window. He swallowed back the anger and sadness, the key into the hole and stumbled inside. It was cold. Her jacket was still hanging on the door. Her perfume was still in the air. He closed the door, then his eyes, and sunk to the ground. There he lay, face to face with her red shoes, until he nodded off.
