Youngbae continued to stare at Tiffany and watched her eyes move towards the window,as if she hadn't seen him looking at her. He understood why she had been laughing. She was happy that he had been turned down by the girl. Youngbae thought to himself for a moment, about all the girls that had turned him down and rejected him. He realized that she probably had something to do with it. He assumed that she had started a rumor and had gone around telling people what he did while he was with her. It was upsetting for him,but he understood why she did it,and he really couldn't blame her. If it were him,and the situation had been reversed,he was pretty sure that he'd do the same thing or something similar.

After a few moments,he watched her put her things away and stand up to leave. As she started to walk,he noticed that she had almost tripped, but was able to catch herself at the last second. She continued walking, and walked past him nearing the door. But before she reached the door, she stopped, turned around, and said something.

"Are you okay?" He'd heard her say. Youngbae looked at her for a moment before thinking to himself. "Surely she's talking to someone else, she couldn't possibly be asking me if i'm okay, especially after what I've done to her." He thought to himself. Youngbae looked around the classroom searching for other people. He saw no one else and realized that Tiffany had to be talking to him. He sat there for a few moments looking dumbfounded before finally responding. "Um...i'm alright." He said hesitantly. "What about you?" He added not really expecting her to reply.

The moment Youngbae turned around, Tiffany's laughter died down and her eyes drifted to the large window, pretending to be busy looking outside. Could she be more obvious? She felt her blush warm her cheeks and her heart hammer faster against her chest.

Beatbeat, pause.

Beatbeat, pause.

Beatbeat, pause.

"Calm down, heart. He's just looking." Tiffany told herself repeatedly. Her heart seemed to betray her every time he looked at her. She couldn't even trust her heart anymore. She should have realized that the first couple of months after the break up. Whenever she would see Youngbae around, whether in the grocery store or in the restaurant down the street, her heart would stop and then beat as if she had ran a marathon. She hated that he still had that effect on her, even from afar. After a few more months, it stopped being so difficult to look at him, but every time his gaze would meet hers, her heart seemed to skip a beat. Like it did when they met for the first time.

Clearing , Tiffany closed her books and clumsily stuffed them into her bag. They pushed some of her papers further inside it, but she didn't really care about it. She could do that later. Right then she needed to escape the pressure of his gaze, and standing up from her seat, she nearly tripped.

"Crap." She muttered under her breath as she looked down at the floor. Was this what they called karma? Because although she loved to prank Youngbae and make his life a living hell, deep down she knew it would backfire, one way or another. Tucking a wayward strand of hair behind her ear, Tiffany hoisted her bag up onto her shoulder and climbed down the stairs. She walked past him, but something made her stop before she could reach the door. What was it? Her betraying heart again? She bit on her bottom lip for a moment and slowly turned to him as a sudden idea popped into her head. Another one of her vindictive plans. However, this one needed to be perfectly planned so it could work, but it still didn't stop her from giving it a start.

"You okay?" Her voice slipped past her lips in a quiet whisper and she had to repeat herself, knowing for sure he hadn't listened the first time. Or had he? It was the first time she asked him such a casual question after their break up. Usually they barely talked to each other and although it was only the beginning of another one of her plans, she didn't know why the first thing she asked had to do with how he felt. Because honestly, she didn't give a damn.

Or she thought so.

Youngbae had just ended his relationship with Tiffany, his girlfriend of two years. Things had been fine for the most part,at least he had believed that they were. In all reality,Youngbae knew that things weren't fine. While he and Tiffany had been going strong for two years,he started to take more notice in her best friend. At first he thought that the reason he'd started to think about and notice her more was because she was around he and Tiffany quite often. He didn't really believe that he was feeling anything for her.Eventually started hanging out with them all of the time, and after her constanltly being around and always watching the things she did,he couldn't help but feel somewhat attracted to her.

He didn't like that he was feeling this way,but he couldn't help it. He couldn't help constantly looking at her and being by the way she did things and by the way she acted. The way she looked was another thing that he noticed. She had long black hair that went over her shoulders, dark brown eyes, pale milky white skin, and was pretty tall and thin. Tiffany was pretty, and although he didn't like thinking this, she couldn't really compare to her. It seemed that after a while, she noticed the way Youngbae would look at her,and from then on out, they would occasionally give each other suggestive looks while they thought Tiffany wasn't looking.

One day,she had contacted Youngbae and asked him to come over to her house, telling him that Tiffany was there as well. Youngbae, knowing that this was Tiffany's best friend, believed her and made his way to her house. When he arrived,he saw her looking out of a window, as if she were waiting for him.She disappeared from the window and he saw the front door open along with a big smile plastered on her face. He had a bad feeling in his stomach, but he walked up to the front door and went inside anyway.

She welcomed him as he walked inside and they made their way upstairs into her bedroom. He looked around and noticed that Tiffany wasn't there he immediately looked at her and asked where she was. She told him that Tiffany wouldn't be coming and he gave her a confused look before starting to head for the door. Before he was able to reach it,she jumped in front of him, blocking the door with her body. Youngbae just stared at her for a moment and a few seconds later, she moved forward and brought her face close to his, pressing her lips onto his.

It took him a moment to realize what was happening. When he realized that she had kissed him,he knew that he should stop the kiss and push a her away, but he didn't. Instead he started to kiss her back and before he knew it,they were both lying in her bed, wearing next to nothing. "I can't do this to her." He thought to himself,he started to get up and leave before he was pulled back down and felt lips on his again.

The two of them laid side by side sweaty and panting. Youngbae couldn't believe what he'd just done. He'd just slept with his girlfriend's best friend. When he'd realized what he had just done,he quickly got up and dressed himself before leaving the house and heading back to his own.

It wasn't long before Tiffany found out. He knew that she wasn't going to take it well and that they were most likely over. Though a tiny part of him thought that maybe, just maybe, they could work things out and get past this. Of course that didn't happen and Tiffany quickly broke up with him, though after they broke up,he didn't really see or hear from her. He found that odd,he expected her to be out getting revenge and trying to make his life hell. A few months went by and school eventually started back up. He just happened to have a class with her,but they never spoke to each other and she never looked at him,it just seemed like he didn't exist to her anymore. Youngbae had been sitting on class talking to a girl that he was "interested in." Though he wasn't really interested on her or anyone else,he was just trying to pretend to make Tiffany jealous. So far,his idea hadn't been working. He was continually being turned down by girls when he was usually swooned over by them. When he started talking to the girl, she seemed to be listening at first, but then lost interest, got up and left. He heard a small laugh coming from behind him. He turned around to look and see who it was and saw that it was Tiffany.

Two years with someone you loved and thought you would spend the rest of your life with. Two full wasted years. When you love someone, you barely see their flaws, and if you happen to see one, you immediately convince yourself that flaw makes the person perfect. Youngbae had his flaws, but as any blindly in love teenager, Tiffany failed to see them. They were right there in front of her eyes. In the way he would steal secret glances at her best friend whenever they went out together, or the disgusting way he looked at her backside when she bent down to grab the milk from the refrigerator.

"Tiff, I'm a man. We do stuff like that." He'd say.

Bull. But Tiffany fell for it, because when it came to him, she was naïve. She refused to think about any other option beside it really being because he was a man and men did stuff like that. Because she loved him and she didn't want to lose him. That was until the truth came up. Tiffany didn't want to believe it at first. It didn't make sense. She wanted to believe that Youngbae loved her the way she loved him and that they soon would be moving in together to start a new life. But she couldn't be more wrong. He was cheating on her with her best friend. Ex-best friend, better said. When she confront him about it, he didn't deny it, and although part of her knew it was true, the other part of her, the weak one, the one that still loved him, wished he would deny it, wished he would tell her it wasn't true.

Her best friend didn't deny it either. "I'm sorry" was the only thing she managed to say. And Tiffany punched her in the face. Hard. Really hard. Her nose began bleeding almost immediately, and she didn't feel any remorse about it, because she was nothing but a lying, betraying .

Tiffany was never a vindictive person, but Youngbae changed that. And she hated it. She hated that he ruined her for any other guy. Not only in the good sense of it, but the bad too. She feared every other guy would be a Youngbae. A deceiving cheater. Her revenge started as soon college started and each day she was having more and more fun with it.

Looking over at him in the front row of the classroom, Tiffany watched as he tried to start a conversation with the girl he had been interested in for the previous couple of months. She rested her chin on her palm as she carefully listened, her eyebrows arched in anticipation. She heard the girl say she had other things to do and left the room without even looking back, and although Tiffany was trying her best to keep her posture, she couldn't help but snicker at the disappointed look in his face. The rumor had worked. Now his crush knew what kind of guy he was. A cheating .
