@saranghaeno Normally, Hyuna didn’t like to dwell on mistakes but showing up late on the first day of the new semester was sloppy, even for her. There were a few reasons for her slip up but none of them could be voiced openly without obscuring the truth. Somehow ‘I’m late because I was getting it on last night,’ didn’t seem very professional. Call it a hunch. So she donned a smile, tossed in some pep, and settled for, “Hello, class! I had some car trouble this morning, but it won’t be a regular thing if I can help it.”
Making a beeline for her desk, heels clicking in her wake, Hyuna deposited her bag on the seat and threaded her fingers through jet black hair. She exhaled lightly before gathering up the papers for rollcall, eyes sweeping over the latest batch of headaches-to-be (let’s just say teaching wasn’t her first choice). Then as her line of sight passed a familiar face, Hyuna felt as if someone had kicked her in the stomach, sapping the remaining air from her lungs. The same pair of eyes, catty and mischievous, from the other night was now blinking back at her with a deceptive kind of innocence that Hyuna new better than to take at face value. It wasn’t their first meeting nor was it their second, but this was the last place she wanted to meet Yoo Jiae.
The way Jiae’s name tumbled from her lips now was more business than pleasure—Hyuna knew which she preferred—but constricted in that oh so familiar way. “. . . Right, good. You all came.” Perhaps not the best choice of words. Hyuna quickly broke eye contact and drew in a deep breath before proceeding with the agenda. “Here is the syllabus. Take one and pass it on. That’s all we’ll be going over today so we’ll both be out of each other’s hair before you know it.” Unfortunately, that didn’t encompass all the students and Hyuna’s mind was already racing with what-if scenarios and envisioning terrible ways she could lose her job—or worse, end up in prison.
And what do you know; there was that headache she was anticipating.
The start of the semester meant taking a new class for Jiae. It meant dressing accordingly to the different weather and having to wake up when the sun was barely just about to rise to make it to her morning class. Psychology wasn't something she was particularly interested in, but it was something she had decided to take, at least to try and decide in her major -- which was still, undecided. She had gotten to her new class early that day, awaiting the teacher's arrival as a few other students had also entered, bunching together in the back of the class as Jiae had chosen to sit in the third row from the front. Close enough for her face to be easily remembered by the professor, but far enough that she didn't stick out horribly.
It had all just seemed so simple like that, it was just a class she was taking. One that she figured would be boring if anything, but she would be diligent about it as she was with everything else. Oh yes, she was a diligent person. Closing her eyes, she could see still see the client she met last night -- Hyuna -- laying under her, her bare skin nothing but beautiful as Jiae had trailed her hands over every inch of her body. She loved it, the feel of not having to hold back, especially when it came to with Hyuna. A small smile formed on her lips as she shamelessly thought of last night, only opening her eyes and directing her attention to the front of the class when she heard someone step in.
I'd hate to leave, but I really don't think I'm going to be very active. Thank you for having me here and if this ever gets revamped, I'd love to return!
