Dorimcheon Stream

@[B] Mingyu Sungjong smiled at the handsome boy. It shouldn't surprise him people often mistook him for a girl when he's dressed like this, but he can't help but be happy about it. As long as they don't find out he's not a girl, then he revels in the mistakes. "Thank you...sir." Sounds kind of weird calling a boy around his age sir, but how else is he supposed to respond to 'miss'? Not letting the boy go, he tightened his grip slightly and hesitated with his words. "Um I don't feel right bumping into you like this without making up for it. Would you mind if I bought you a snack or a treat?" Something for him to continue to hang around a cute boy like him.

@[M] Sungjong Mingyu was crossing the stone path out of boredom. He had left his apartment to buy his mother some cigarettes and overslept his stop. Ending up at the popular hang out destination. He decided to spend a little time instead of heading straight back. He was looking at the seemingly grey sky when he felt something hit his shoulder. He instinctively held onto whatever it was and turn to find a pretty girl leaning against him. "It's okay. Be careful miss." Mingyu said.

@[B] Mingyu The day was nice. Not too cold and not too warm. Perfect enough for Sungjong to where a skirt and his wig comfortably. He finally had a day off and he planned to spend his free time at Dorimcheon stream. Sitting on the steps, he stared at the water, before getting up and hopping across the stone path. He lost his footing on one and accidentally bumped into a stranger to catch himself. "I'm sorry." He said as he looked at the boy sheepishly.

@[B] Sung Joon (Sure ^^)

Eli grinned. "Are you serious? Why haven't I ever seen you there?" Keeping a smile on his face. "Sure, it will be fun" He followed Sung Joon.

@Eli Sung Joon was pleasantly surprised as his gaze followed Eli's finger. He pointed straight at the club. A smile spread on Sung Joon's face as he said, "I work there too! Dude, let's just go to my place. We can order in, watch a movie, catch up. It'll be fun!" Finally. A friend in this stupid, catty club. Why couldn't everyone be as cool as Eli? He grabbed Eli by the hand and tugged him along hurriedly. It was getting chillier the longer they stayed out and he wanted to be back in the warmth of his room as swiftly as possible.

@[B] Sung Joon Eli nodded. "Yeah, actually. I work right up here" He pointed ahead and then looked over at Sung Joon. "Where do you work?"

@Eli "No, that's not bad! I'm actually a bartender. Ever since I started doing that in high school, I've been doing it ever since." He chuckled a little. "Do you work somewhere around here? I feel like I would have seen you in the area sooner if you do." He ran his hand through his hair, looking around as the lampposts along the lake began to turn on, one after the other.

@[B] Sung Joon "It's fine, I like the occasional stroll" He smiled and walked alongside Sung Joon. Hearing what he said, Eli laughed softly. "I guess you can say that it did, and thanks. Well, I'm a waiter now, doesn't sound that great, but I don't think its bad."

@Eli "Let's go then. Hope you don't mind walking. The nearest shop is on the north side of this park, all the way down the stream." He began walking slowly, not in any particular rush and kept stealing glances at Eli. "Man, what happened to you? Did puberty hit you like a brick on your 18th birthday?" He chuckled. "You've grown up a lot. You look good. What do you do now?"

@[B] Sung Joon Eli was smiling ear-to-ear, ridiculously happy to see his old friend."I am so happy to see you, it has been too long." He looked over at the almost completely set sun, and then back at his friend. "That sounds amazing. I could use some coffee"

@Eli "It is you," he whispered to himself, almost as if to affirm that his eyes weren't deceiving him. He ran over to the other, his smile steadily growing. "What are you doing here? I haven't seen you in forever!" He sat beside the other, looking at him with surprise. The sun was almost fully set at this point, and the night animals were beginning to emerge. "Do you want to go get a coffee or something? Maybe catch up? I'm really glad to see you."

@[B] Sung Joon Eli sighed and remembered on of the friends that he would come here with. He wasn't as close to him as his other friend, Sung Joon. They all had great times together, from partying to staying over at each other's houses and jamming out to music. A small smile formed on his lips as he thought about the times they had, he would do anything to have them back. Eli heard a faintly familiar voice calling his name, as he looked into the direction that the voice came from, he couldn't believe his eyes. "Sung Joon? Is that you!?"

@Eli {yeah, no problem. c: }

Sung Joon stared up at the sky for probably half an hour before deciding that he would end his wallowing a few hours early this year. Byunghee would have wanted him to be happy. If he was the one who had died in Byunghee's place, he was positive the other would be doing something cool for him like getting drunk and partying in his name, spray-painting his name on a wall, buying a meal for his mom... He could imagine Byunghee doing all that and more. He was slightly ashamed that all he could bring himself to do on this day was to be sad. Sitting up, Sung Joon was about ready to head home when he saw a familiar face near the edge of the stream. "E-Eli...?"

@[B] Sung Joon (Just a heads up, I'm tired so this won't be intense or very long and detailed, please do forgive me)

Eli walked along a slow flowing stream, he thought it was only a memory in the back of his mind until he finally saw it again. He kneeled down by the stream, running his fingers through the water, smiling softly. He set down by the stream, sighing as he looked at the sun peering out from over distant mountains as he remembered all of the times he had been here before with his friends.

@Eli Sung Joon sat by the stream alone, poking at the grass with a stick as he stared at the stream. He rested his chin atop his knees which were tucked lightly against his chest. The sun was just beginning to set, the sky a light pink color with a tinge of orange. He recalled coming here before with his friends Eli, Byunghee... those were the days. When they had nothing to care about but homework and music. He'd spent Byunghee's birthday there every year since his friend died. They were close, to the point where Sung Joon believed they were soulmates. He had no romantic feelings for Byunghee, but the other male was practically a brother to him. They both came from nothing, and knew nothing but how to fend for themselves. Music was their only true happiness. Sung Joon closed his eyes, feeling sadness come over him at the thought of how amazing Byunghee was and how he was never coming back. He sighed. "It's been 8 years. Why does it still hurt this much?" With another sigh he flopped back onto his back, staring straight up at the sky.

@[E] Minki Minwoo wanted to defend himself, he wanted to scream and yell that he wasn't like everyone else; but he couldn't. He was too scared, so he just sat there, watching Minki get up and walk away. Minwoo knew that he wouldn't fix anything if he followed, if anything he'd probably somehow make it even more worse than he could. "I'm sorry..." He said under his breath before slowly getting up and brushed his pants off. Not long after, he walked away from the spot.

@[W] Minwoo Everyone at school thinks I'm weird, Minwoo. They tease me for liking boys and for looking like a girl. You were the only nice person I knew." He said calmly, placing his things into his bag as he stood up and slung it over his shoulder. "I guess I was wrong though. I'm sorry I took your kindness as something more than just that. I'm also sorry that I embarrassed you but you could have handled it better. I thought you were different, No Minwoo. But you're just like everyone else." With that, Minki turned to leave and quickly walked up the hill with fresh tears brimming his eyes threatening to fall out and run down his cheeks once more.

@[E] Minki Not surprised when the younger male pulled away from him, Minwoo just sat there silently as he waited for Minki to finish speak. Chewing on his lower lip, Minwoo took a deep breath before answering the rhetorical question. "I wanted to say that I'm sorry for what I said. You... .Well, I don't know how else to say this, but someone else deserves to have your confession." Rubbing his hands aginst one another, Minwoo struggling with trying to say how he felt without saying it all. He just wasn't ready to let others know he was attracted to guys. So, he had to keep acting like he was attracted to girls.

@[W] Minwoo Minki hadn't heard the other coming up from behind. He was much too busy focusing on the water of the stream and how other couples were enjoying the day together. His tears were do the most part dried up on his cheeks, every now and then the boy would sniffle but he was done crying. He had used up all his tears and was left with a headache. Flinching and retracting his hand instantly at the touch, he turned and saw none other than the person who had caused this little breakdown. Minki scoffed, rolling his eyes with an annoyed smile on his face as he wiped his tears from his face. "What do you want now?" He asked, looking away in the opposite direction from Minwoo. He didn't want to see the other at the moment. Minki just wanted to be alone.

@[E] Minki Minwoo counted down the minutes so he could tell when he could go check on Minki. There was something about the boy that made his heart skip a beat, and yet he still hurt him. Sighing softly as they made it to the ice cream shop; Minwoo lied and said that his Father needed to see him. Smiling, Minwoo got out of getting ice cream with his friends and went back to the spot where Minki had confessed to him. Sighing softly, the male tried to think where he could be. Walking around for awhile, Minwoo finally got lucky when he seen the boy sitting down in front of a stream. He noticed how the shoulders were shaking, and Minwoo felt even more terrible about rejecting him. Slowly, he walked forward until he was beside Minki, and flopped down and tried to reach over nad grab the boy's hand with his own. "I'm sorry I was harsh."

@[W] Minwoo It was as if his heart had turned to stone and sunk down into his stomach. Minki stood there in embarrassment as people passed, snickering at his ridiculous confession to someone he knew he didn't have a chance with. What was he thinking? Of course Minwoo didn't feel the same. The boy refused to cry. It wasn't like Minwoo had said something he hasn't heard before Minki had been called a girl countless times. Far longer than he could remember. What hurt was that it came from someone he actually liked. He had to get out of sight and the only place he could go was down to the stream. Sitting there alone on the hillside, he pulled his knees to his chest and let his tears roll down his cheeks now that he was alone and away from his fellow peers who were probably making jokes about him by now.

@[E] Minki Usually, Minwoo was at his house and working on another one of his, as his dads liked to call them, 'masterpieces'. However, to Minwoo, They typically were just small things, but they gained a lot of attention. But, for some odd reason, the male had decided to tag along with some friends to an ice cream parlor. Shoving his hands into his pockets, Minwoo stopped when he heard his name being called. Turning around, the boy smiled slightly when he seen Minki coming up to him. Minwoo remembered talking with the fellow student a few times, so he just brushed off his friends as he waited to hear what the boy in front of him wanted to say. Just before he was going to ask what it was, Minwoo froze as he heard the words that came out of Minki's lips. The male didn't know how to feel, except for the thumping he could clearly feel in his chest from the confession. He, surprisingly, has been confessed to before by a few girls; but no one had ever made his heart flutter. Though, Minwoo was raised in a house of equality, the boy wasn't reaady to come out to his friends that he wasn't attracted to women. "What... W-what do you expect me to say? That I like you too?" He spoke before he could really comprehend what he was saying. If only Minwoo was comfortable with himself, he knew he would have accepted the confession. Looking down to the ground, Minwoo only shook his head. "I'm not into guys, though I suppose you could pass for a chick with you look. But sorry, I don't swing that way." He spoke quick and hard, his hands clenching tightly in his pockets as he quickly turned away and tried to get his friends to walk away with him. Though, the boy felt guilty, Minwoo looked behind him to see how heart broken he had made Minki.

@[W] Minwoo Today was the day. Minki was finally going to tell Minwoo that he had a crush on him. Sure, they rarely ever talked and when they did it was just a couple words exchanged between them. No matter. He had to do it otherwise he would never have the guts. Minki held onto the strap of his bag and briskly walked forward to catch up to Minwoo and his group of friends. "Minwoo-ssi." He called out in a shaky voice but his face was relaxed as it possibly could be. "I have something to say." Palms sweaty, he clutched the fabric of the strap tighter as he stared at the other. "I like you."
