Coffee Shop

@IU Gongchan looked up from his table when he heard a phone ring. He reached for his phone, thinking it was his, but once he checked it, it seemed to have been someone else's. He wondered who's phone was ringing, for they had the same ringtone.

And it wasn't just one of those default tones, but one he downloaded from the internet. He looked up momentarily at the girl to see that she had pulled out her phone. He smiled to himself, knowing that the ringtone came from her and that maybe they were more alike than he thought.

Something fell from her purse, and Gongchan's eyes went from her to that item. He peered at it for a few seconds, recognizing the pattern on it when he realized it was a school ID. His eyes widened when he saw it, for it was the ID of the school he went to.

*Well, I have an excuse to talk to her now. Maybe we're in the same grade?*, Gongchan thought to himself.

This time, he really wanted to go up to her and say hi. And well, now he wouldn't seem as stalker-ish as he would've been if he had gone up to her before. Gongchan took a deep breath and stood up. He walked towards her and quickly bowed before speaking, "H-Hello,"

@Gongchan Jieun kept her head hidden for as long as possible, when her phone suddenly rang. She sighed in relief, not feeling as forever alone as she did at the moment. She got her phone from her bag and was about to answer it when her school ID fell from the wallet pocket in her phone. She put her phone on silent and quickly reached down for her ID and stuffed it in her bag to deal with later.

She went back to her phone, but was too late when she saw the 'one missed call' sign on her phone. She unlocked it and saw that it was just another ad-type of call. She shrugged and looked up very briefly at the boy before turning back to her book.

@IU When the girl in front of her shyly smiled back, he felt his heart do some sort of summersault. Why he was feeling this way, puzzled him. He didn't believe at love at first sight, because he was more a realist, but what he didn't believe in was happening right now. Or at least it fealt like it.

When she hid her face behind the book she had with her, Gongchan found himself chuckling. He adored shy girls, and that was something people didn't know about him. His looks immediately gave off a playboy/cute feel, which would make a girl think that she'd have to be y and confident to be with him.

But that was almost the opposite of what he wanted. What he wanted was a girl to protect, a girl who'd look to him for comfort. It may sound a bit ist, but Gongchan felt like men should be the ones to protect women from harm, but he believed in women independantness.

Shaking his head, not wanting to think about /those/ types of topics, he took another sip of his coffee and thought about what to do next. His next plan was to go and approach the girl, but how he would do it, he didn't know.

Of course, he could just walk up to her and say hello, but would that be creepy? Gongchan shook his head, he didn't want to come off as a creepy stalker. But how would he approach her?

Jieun felt her heart start to pound as the boy in front of her flashed her a smile. Her usual reaction was to blush, but she found that she was blushing already. She gave him a small smile and looked down at her book, trying to act normal. But it's not like that was gonna happen.

She tried to hid her face behind her book, hoping the mysterious boy in front of her wouldn't see the look of happiness on her face. To think she'd have the guts to smile back was pretty big for her, considering no boy has ever smiled at her the way he did.

But then again, he could be a playboy, an inner voice said. She frowned, realizing what could've happened. Maybe she was just being hit on, and that this wasn't the first chapter of her romance story. Maybe it's was just a normal smile in politeness...maybe. She mentally facepalmed herself for thinking the way she did and tried to ignore the feeling inside that wanted to take another glimpse of his face.

@IU When Gongchan noticed that she had noticed he was staring, he immediately averted his eyes and tried to look as casual as he could. He took a sip of his coffee and "causually" did a hair flip with his out grown bangs, knowing it was a lady-killer. Gongchan wasn't usually a playboy, but for some reason he was in such a care-free mood he didn't care.

He looked up briefly, wanting to see if she still was staring, and met eyes with her. Then, he felt something click. He didn't know what, but something about her was so...perfect.

Gongchan suspected that she too had felt the pang, for the blush seen on her cheeks said so. He smiled at her, and waited for her to smile back.

@Gongchan Jieun looked up from her book once she felt like she was being stared. She thought she had pretty decent looks, but not pretty enough to be stared at where ever she went. But it's not like she wanted to be stared at anyway.

When she looked up, she saw a boy with brown hair who was drinking some coffee. She looked at his facial features and was immediately captivated. Jieun was the type to "fall in love easily" but most of her feelings were usually infatuations.

But by his good looks, she suspected he had some girlfriend. And even though he was cute and was /right there/, it wasn't like she was going to approach him in anyway.

@IU Gongchan walked into the shop, and went over to the cash register to order his drink. He'd been at this shop many times and was a regular customer. He's been there so many times that he'd just have to look up at who ever would ring up his drink and they'd know what he want.

He smiled at the girl before him and she asked him if he wanted the usual, in which he replied with a nod. After recieving his coffee, he sat down at a table across from a girl who was sitting alone.

He knew that the shop he's been at was popular, but the girl before him seemed entirely new. He stared intently at her, but quickly looking away once he realized how much of a stalker he probably looked like. He cleared his throat and sat back in his chair to drink his coffee.

Jieun entered the coffee shop and was welcomed by the sweet smell of coffee beans and whip cream. She looked around carefully, this being her first time at this particular shop.

Jieun was a lover of coffee and coffee shops, because they gave her this calm and sweet feeling that no other place could give her. She quickly went up to order a drink and sat down once she received it. Taking a sip of her coffee, she pulled out a book from her bag and began to read.
