Every leader needs a desk to draw out plans at, a cabinet for groundwork splashed with a bit of paper and a comforting bed for their nights alone. Or maybe not so alone~ Enjoy yourself, commander.
@horvejkul nichkhun Chaerin sat at her desk, papers sprawled out in front of her. Irritated from all the paperwork and war plans, she ran a hand through her hair, a sigh escaping her lips. She knew the position of Commander was a hard one even before she accepted it, she had witnessed it first hand with her grandfather. However, she couldn't believe how stubborn people could become. Negotiations between clans weren't going as great as she had hoped they would and that put stress on her, as a commander.
Being the only female commander out of all the clans wasn't easy. Most of the other commanders and their clans underestimated Chaerin, acted as if she wasn't strong enough to be a commander. Yet she kept proving them wrong, continuously protecting and providing for her clan . She was strong in fighting and wouldn't back down because that showed weakness. She knew when to stop or when it wasn't worth fighting for. Many would call her wise for that.
As Chaerin began cleaning up the mess on her desk, one of the knights out side her door, came in. "Commander, The writer has arrived to see you" he said, standing straight in front of her. "What writer?" she asked, confusion clouding her features. "Nichkun, I believe is his name. You agreed to allow him to interview you" the knight replied. Chaerin furrowed her eyebrows in thought, before she managed to remember doing so. "Ah yes, it's been so hectic i forgot. Let him in" she stated, going back to organizing the stacks of papers on her desk as the knight left the room.
(sorry its not great and so late, i had to be with the family for new years. just a warning but i won't always be able to match the length because i may be a bit busy)
@lee chaerin In the year 3086, books were equivalent to scrolls especially with the upsurge of technology. However, for scholars like Nichkhun, they were prized artifacts that reflected the past working societies of Earth before mankind destroyed it with destructive expansion and development. Only a few are willing to write; therefore, their works are often immortalized and guarded.
Nichkhun was a well-known author of countless humanities novels; however, he hides himself as Viktor Gasirkarov whenever the topic of revolution is called out. As Viktor, he produced one of the most controversial novels, earning great attention from scholars and civilians; however, today he will be posing as Nichkhun, a man with a mission to write about admirable people. Perhaps in their stories, he could learn something so Viktor could continue writing his second book.
Genuinely, he took interest in writing about the sole female commander of the four clans, Lee Chaerin, and today, he will be meeting her. Nichkhun nervously waited outside of her quarters. A thin leather bag was tucked underneath his arm. People rarely use luggage since mobile storage were also upgraded in the advancement of technology, but using this leather bag made everything authentic.
Nichkhun reached for his pen as he waited outside. "A meeting with the commander." He sighed anxiously.
