@Remus Lupin (Sorry about that, I'm bored so I just changed a few tiny things ^^')
"Well, you've never given Evans a prompt to change her mind about you being a , Prongsie. Doesn't mean we don't know you're not. Well...not really. I'm hurt to realize that my own bestfriends don't know me as well as I thought they did" He said in an exaggerated hurt tone though it did sting a bit to know that the boy he thought of as his brother thought so bad of him. Sure he acted that way but; James always acted so full of himself in front of Lily Evans but Sirius knew it wasn't really his true personality and he he had thought that it was the same for him, that James knew he wasn't truly some jerk who enjoyed hurting girls and making them cry but looks like he was wrong. "Anyway, maybe I've got someone I'm interested in but who isn't interested, didn't think about that hm?" He said proudly when he saw the disbelief on James face. "And Moonbeam, I thought we agreed last year that you wouldn't use that abnormally smart brain of yours against me, you traitor" He pouted childishly.
Sirius turned his head so fast to look at Remus that it actually hurt a bit but he didn't even notice. He frowned at the boy and for once thought before opening his mouth, doing his best to not sound as harsh as the words did in his mind. "Don't be daft. I'm never leaving your life, you're stuck with the awesome me for the rest of your life. I would never hurt you..." He said insisting on the 'you' and staring straight in Remus eyes but soon looking away and sliding down a bit in his seat, his arms crossed over his chest. "...not ever again..." He mumbled the last part quietly, remembering the 'incident' with Snape. The weeks following that night had been the worst of Sirius life, and that was saying something knowing his family. Sirius never wanted to see (and be the cause of it in that case) such a betrayed and hurt expression on his bestfriend's face ever again. He let out a silent relieved sigh when James started teasing Remus about never letting him get away, probably having sensed the sudden change of mood. He gave him a small grateful smile and moved to lean against the wall so he could rest his legs on the seat.
"Because everyone knows Remus Lupin has got the best chocolate, duh" He said then grinned but rolled his eyes at the mention of school. "Muggle Studies are boring, they only teach those really boring things like rubber ducks not the awesome ones like motorcycles or cars or toasters! That'd be cool but it's really boring instead. Did I say how boring these lessons are? And I won't need muggle studies after Hogwarts, I'll just need you" He grinned cheekily. "And don't deny it Werewolf McWerewolf, you worship me" He said playfully then burst out laughing at Remus words. "Wanna help with the first thing?" He waggled his eyebrows suggestively before looking at James who was indeed already back in his 'Lily Evans stalker' mode. "I don't know what you're talk abou- Get your hands off her you git!" The Head Boy growled then huffed childishly. Sirius raised an eyebrow and peeked through the door, snorting slightly when he saw the Prewett twins flirting with James dream girl. "Right, whatever you say" He said and stood up when the train finally stopped at Hogsmeade train station.
@Sirius Black "You've never given us a promt to think so, Padfoot" James stated and Remus just looked at the black-haired boy silently. He hadn't thought about it in such a way - mostly convinced that Sirius was doing it all just to spite his family and to keep his image in front of the school - but it was a new and interesting shine of light on the matter. "To be completely honest" he begun, weighing his words carefully "I don't think you've ever... dove into a relationship with the... PURPOSE to find someone for something more than a quick shag. Because if you wanted to look for it, you would have found it. Ask and you shall be given, you know." the werewolf mentioned and then shrugged again "I don't think you enjoy breaking hearts, it's more of a side effect. I'm sure my heart will also be broke when you decide to leave my life." he half-heartedly joked out his most deepest fear.
He smiled and nodded a bit calmer now "Yeah, summer sounds nice, I can't wait to see her." he grinned widely at his friend, sharing his enthusiasm for the bike for purely scientific reasons - he wanted to research some magic on it, not just rebel around, but everyone had his reasons. Remus had never questioned Sirius, the trust already built too deep into them, during their duo-fullmoons when it was only the two of them. Remus never asked Sirius why did he stay, because he could guess, or so he thought (he blamed it on Sirius' horrible family).
Remus occupied himself by opening the window and letting some air inside, while his friends bickered. "If we are the worst best friends ever, why are you eating my chocolate?" he asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest with a smirk.
Remus his lips and inched just a breath away from Sirius, seeing him all flustered and uncomfortable. Maybe it wasn't the right idea to get butterflies in his stomach right now, not for his best friend at that. "Ketchup is... something like tomato sauce, a puree... but it's mostly made of artificial ingredients and has nothing to do with the real tomatoes, it's used as a substitute for real tomato sauce." he explained "You really need to take up Muggle Studies at least one semester, otherwise you'd be absolutely crippled once you leave Hogwarts." Remus made a face and sighed exasperatedly as Sirius' sharp tongue, not even blushing anymore at his obnoxiousness. He just shook his head and threw the prefects a pityful look as Sirius smashed the door in their faces. "Your /own/ Prefect?" he inquired once the Black boy turned back to him, raising an eyebrow "Since when am I your property, Black?" he asked, while digging in his bag to get his robes out and lay them out on the seat. He took off his cardigan, shirt and began unbuckling his trousers. "Just shut your mouth, Padfoot." he shook his head, not even a bit moved by the compliment. When eh noticed some rustling next to him, he turned to his side and his face twitched - Sirius was topless and his unblemished skin did things to Remus - things he wasn't sure he liked or approved of. Clenching his teeth, he hurried to switch his trousers for the uniform pants and quickly cover his scars-covered skin with the white button up shirt, complete with the tie, tying it well almost to the top. He shot the now dressed Sirius a look and shook his head, while folding his clothes and putting them back in the bag "You need a and an ego deflator." the boy stated and kicked Sirius' feet before flopping down on the seat to observe James sitting by the door, watching out, already in his robes "Looking for someone, Prongs?"
@Remus Lupin Sirius blinked in mocked surprise and raised an eyebrow. "Because there's people who think I can?" He smirked and chuckled but actually thought about it. "Have you guys actually ever thought that maybe I go from girl to girl because I just haven't tried dating someone who interest me more than just for a quick shag in a broom cupboard?" He wondered aloud before shrugging slightly. "Or maybe I just really am the everyone thinks I am who enjoys breaking hearts."
Sirius recognized the slight fear in Remus eyes and quickly tried to reassure him. "Or Easter or next summer" He added and gave him a soft comforting smile he reserved for him only. He'd stay at Hogwarts with him during the holidays if there was a full moon. James and Peter went home every year for Christmas to spend time with their family which meant that if there was a transformation during those few days it'd be only Remus and Sirius and he would never admit it to the others but he kind of liked it when it was only the wolf and the dog. They could just play around all night without having to care about the wolf suddenly trying to take a bite of James, or Peter getting lost because they were too fast for him.
He spluttered indignantly and crossed his arms over his chest, huffing childishly. "Elvendork is a perfectly presentable name for my baby, Thank you very much." James snorted and leaned back in his seat. "Coming from a guy named 'Sirius'...It was either Elvendork, Bathsheba or Wilberforce so really, Elevendork isn't that bad" He said, trying to hide his laughter but failing miserably when Sirius glared at them. "You guys are officially the worst bestfriends ever. I'm definitely going to make some Hufflepuff friends this year. A lot more boring but I bet they'd be a lot nicer to Elevendork" He mumbled and popped a piece of chocolate in his mouth.
Sirius grey eyes widened slightly, his lips parting a bit in surprise at the weird things his heart and stomach were doing inside him. He didn't know why those words made him feel so weird, or maybe he did but just refused to aknowledge it because the truth was that they rang awfully true. He quickly controlled his facial expression and cleared his throat awkwardly, ignoring the weird look James was giving him. "Well, this analogy could have had an effect if I actually knew what in Merlin's name is a 'ketchup' and what would its business be with a tomato." He said not completely lying since he truly had no clue whatsoever of what was that thing which probably was one of those weird muggle contraptions Remus talked about sometimes. He moved back from Remus and turned around to look at the two Prefects so they could see him rolling his eyes at them. "In case you hadn't noticed I have my own Prefect with me and even Miss Head boy over there so instead of wasting your time trying to show us your superiority maybe you should take that girl with you to the bathroom and relax a bit. Then maybe you'd stopped looking like you sat on your broom the wrong way" He told him with the bright grin that appeared on his lips only when he wanted to really annoy someone. He stood up to close the door but paused. "And I take back what I say. I don't want any Hufflepuff friends, they're really annoying" He said and closed the door in their bright red and confused face even though he was mentally thanking them for rescuing him from the slightly too overwhelming moment between him and Moony. He huffed slightly and turned back to take his school robes out of his bag. "I really don't like Prefects. Well, except you of course Moony. You're too pretty for me to not like you. And well, I guess I don't dislike you that much either Prongs, you're pretty ugly though" He grinned then yelped when James smacked his forehead. "Love you too" He mumbled, rubbing his now sore forehead then focused on changing his clothes instead of thinking about the young werewolf. After putting on his pant and shoes, Sirius stayed shirtless and stuffed his regular clothes in his bag carelessly before finally putting on his shirt and buttoning it up just a little bit more than halfway. He flung his red and gold tie around his neck, not bothering to tie it properly then put on his black Gryffindor robes. He slipped his wand in his pocket then brushed his black hair back with his fingers to fix it a bit before sitting back down on the seat with a heavy sigh. "That was exhausting" He exaggerated. "I need food and sleep."
@Sirius Black Remus enjoyed the simple touch and the heat that Sirius emitted. It was warm, familiar and comfortable. It was something he had grown used to. And he felt a strange pang in his heart every time he though that this thing might somehow be broken. He prayed that this day never came. He looked at James and hoped for the same too, though he got different things, different feelings and vibes from him. Sirius was warmth and mutual understanding, while James was energy and hype and the reason to live - adrenaline. A person needs balanced quantities of both.
"Supposed relationship." Remus mocked "Why does anyone think that you can ever settle." that wasn't a question, more like a fact. "What?" he asked, truly curious at his friend's sudden outburst. Something had gotten Sirius in a twist and it was so good and refreshing to see him like that, with that glint in his eye. "F-for Christmas?" Remus stuttered, doesn't liking the idea of such long-term plans - what if his transformation hit exactly on Christmas? He didn't want the Potters to see... He was quickly wrung out of his worries though "Elvend-..." he stopped mid-word, squinting his eyes at his friends "Sirius Orion Black, tell me you got a more... presentable name for that bike." he dared. "Oh, it is a SHE now, okay." he smiled and nodded, his brain already clicking with options Sirius might try on the bike. He should write them down maybe, clear them out.
While lost in thought, Remus completely ignored Sirius' usual cockiness and just waved him off "Padfoot, I've resisted you for 6 years, what's different now?" he inquired, cocking and eyebrow slyly. Their noses almost touched now and Remus' wolf rumbled in his chest. Or was that Remus himself? "Jealous?" Remus scoffed, smirking "Is the tomato jealous of the ketchup, knowing it is just a substitute for the real thing? We both know they can never give you what I can." he stated, just as James let out a shaky 'Guys?', much to everyone's ignorance. This was the voice Sirius used when trying to woo some chick and get in her pants, Remus should have been immune to it. Should have. He himself didn't have such voice, for he had never tried to woo anyone, but he supposed what came out of his mouth wasn't so bad?
His eyes flicked to the door where a Hufflepuff Prefect girl was standing next to her Prefect Boy counterpart, completely baffled, as the boy quickly ordered them that it was high time they changed into their robes, since they were nearing. And yes, the gray clouds had changed with green fields and night had started to fall outside, Remus hadn't noticed, too lost in the dark eyes before him.
@Remus Lupin Sirius whined shamelessly and leaned into his friend's touch when he started scracthing behind his ears, feeling himself relax slowly. It was something he had picked up while turning into an animagus every full moon. He would turn into his grim-like dog form and curl up with Remus while waiting for the usual horribly painful transformation and the young werewolf would scratch him behind the ears before it was time, maybe to comfort the both of them or just to think about anything but what was to come, but, after all this time, Sirius now associated the gentle scratches to a feeling of comfort and peacefulness only Remus could give him. Just like James was more a brother than a bestfriend for him, Remus was also more than that. He had never really been able to put a name on what they were exactly but he knew they were more than just bestfriends.
He looked up at the amber-eyed boy and rolled his eyes. "Don't be daft Moony. See it as helping me try to get her to stop asking me to be more 'serious' about our supposed relationship. Well, sure, the whole 'giving her a gift' didn't work but it was a good try" He grinned then poked his arm lightly with his wand. "They are not dangerous. They're amazingly fabulous. Oh! Oh! Talking about Arthur! Guess what?!" He asked, suddenly looking like a kid at Christmas, his eyes already sparkling with mischief and excitement. "You so have to come over to the Potters for the Christmas holidays! You've got to meet Elvendork!" James groaned then let out a loud sigh. "Oh come on...why did I ever help you find a name for that thing." Sirius glared at his bestfriend. "Hey! I resent that! She's not a thing, she's the best motorcycle ever, and when I'll finally get her to fly, because I will get her to fly soon, you can be sure I won't invite you. Moony will ride it with me first. Right Moony? Great!" He grinned and leaned back against his seat, moving his legs just in time to avoid James kick.
Sirius raised an eyebrow when he saw the slight shift in Remus eyes. It usually happened around the full moon when the wolf was close to the surface. He forgot about it though and quickly focused on what the young werewolf said next. "So you think I'm y huh? I knew you couldn't resist me Moonybunny" He said smirking smugly before leaning even closer. "It's not my fault If girls throw themselves at me even though they know perfectly well that I'm not interested but...do you actually care about all those broken hearts or are you just jealous? Anything you wanna tell me Remus?" He asked, his voice sounding deep and husky and a mysterious glint in his eyes.
@Sirius Black Remus all but SNORTED in laughter as James told his tale and for some time the compartment was filled with their wild boisterous laughter, making a couple of Slytherin and Ravenclaw girls who were passing by it to cringe in irritation and a few Hufflepuffs to "awwwe" at the cute little birds. One of them landed on Remus' forearm as he was stroking Sirius and he petted it too with his free hand - it was fluffy and golden-yellow, like a snitch. Sirius was good at taking something you love and turning it into a joke. Remus laughed so much, it brought tears to his eyes "Ah, so that's why you were late? I thought you had missed the train and gotten on that ginger lad Arthur Weasley's car. Is he still tweaking it, really?" he asked, now scratching Sirius behind the ears to make him feel better - no matter how cruel their jokes were, Remus hated seeing Sirius sulking like that, because it reminded him of the times his family would make an appearance in their lives and no one likes an appearance from the Blacks. Well, aside from Andromeda and her muggleborn fellow, but she would sulk the same way as Sirius at the mention of her family. Remus shook his head and opened the compartment's window to let the birdies fly free.
Just as Sirius took out the necklace and was handing it to Remus, a familiar silhouette, already clad in robes with red and golden, walked by their compartment and Remus locked eyes with none other than Mary MacDonald, just as his fingers circled around the necklace, given to him. Her eyes went wide and she turned positively red and fuming as she turned right back and stomped away down the corridor. None of the other boys saw that, so Remus just shrugged. "You are stealing my stuff now? And worse - giving them away? What am I - a charity case?" he exclaimed and tucked the necklace in his pocket without even looking at it. "Oh, don't 'love' me, Black, your skills are perfectly dangerous." he retorted "I would know, you're pathetic for me." he added then as the dog-animagus mentioned his pretty eyes.
Now, it was a fact they had all changed during the summer, but Sirius' transformation was more than noticeable. He had grown firmer, chiseled bone structure protruding under blemish-free skin, something raw in his dark eyes and the edge of his jaw bone. The grown-up, ed by life, serious young man was showing through the childish grimaces. And Sirius sticking his face close to Remus' wasn't a newsflash, but new hot Sirius leaning in like that with the wicked glint in his eyes was and Remus sweated a bit. He felt his inner wolf rumbling too, scratching the surface in what Lupin thought was an urge to put Sirius down. (How wrong he was.) Remus did not even flinch, only rolling his eyes at the lewd noises and turning to face Sirius as he was leaning, lips curving into a sly smile "You may be y, but you won't be single for long, now will you, Padfoot?" he smirked, knowing well what a player Sirius was, tapping his cheek with his fingers, careful not to slit himself on the cutting edge that was his jawline, as James, who watched them from across, now turned suddenly quiet and raising an eyebrow.
@Remus Lupin "Of course Remy-poo~ You know I love you the most. And I am a very sweet and adorable dog, thank you very much" He said childishly, eliciting a weird snort from their bestfriend. Sirius looked at the bespectacled boy with a raised eyebrow. "That was rude James, dear" He said in his best imitation of Euphemia Potter before looking back up at Remus and rubbing his own cheek with a small pout on his lips. "Mary MacDonald..." He grumbled, making James burst out laughing. "Right! She came up to us before we got on the train, started clinging to Pads arm and trying to kiss him. And the git asked her 'Who the bloody hell are you?' And she-..." The headboy had to stop talking and laughing at the same time to catch his breath while Sirius had just rolled his eyes and started conjuring some weird-looking obese little birds with small glasses on their beaks to make them look like his currently very annoying friend. James took a deep breath before finishing his tale. "So, the poor girl took off a necklace he gave her and gave it back to him before slapping him and shooting a pretty mean stinging hex straight to his arse. He squealed so freaking bad that people thought someone had stepped on an owl!" The oldest boy huffed sulkily at being made fun of but soon remembered about something. "Oh Right!" He sat up and took the necklace out of his pocket to give it to his Prefect friend. "I think it's yours Moony. Found it in the dorm one day and wore it to go out. I guess I did end up giving it to that girl somehow. And I don't like what you are implying about my skills with a wand, love. My skills are perfect" He said then just stared in the sorrowful eyes of Remus Lupin. He let out a deep dramatic sigh and shook his head slightly. "You know, it's actually pretty pathetic that even though I know you're making fun of me I still can't resist those pretty eyes of yours." He told the other teenager softly, slowly leaning closer to his face. "And since I am a y single man now I guess you're my one and only as well so...gimme a kiss Moonybunny~!" He wrapped his arms around poor Remus quickly and pulled him close, puckering his lips and making loud kissy noises.
Remus only smirked as he watched James blinking confused and the mocking Sirius immediately drowned him in. He just flinched away from the shoe and chuckled at the miserable state James was in, with only one shoe on and his ego deflated. "Sirius, chill." he decided to be merciful to their deer friend. Pun intended. "But you love me more, don't you." he stated instead of asking and simply started playing with Sirius' hair absent-mindedly as the other made himself comfortable. They fitted pretty well by now.
"No wonder, I'm sure they had always wanted to adopt a stray." Remus laughed and chatted with James while Sirius was in his own world "Do you like living with a roommate, Prongs?" he asked as Sirius wiggled his way in and James grinned slyly "It's not such a problem, I'm only worried for the moment he starts bringing in chicks. But then again, who would even come through with this shabby git, look at him. I can't believe how well he fitted in at home and it's not fair, but it's actually true, mom loves you more, but it's only because you're always trying to seduce her." he finished, causing Remus to raise an eyebrow. "Chicks, huh.." he chuckled "Are you cheating on... who were dating back at school again?" he finally looked down at his friend, brushing the locks out of his face. Completely ignoring his arrogant statement, Remus just made a face and scoffed "Sirius, put that thing away, you're gonna hurt yourself. Or worse - me." he nodded at the wand. In seven years he had become immune to the irresistible puppy charm.
At the following words of Sirius, James started to protest loudly and Remus just leaned back to laugh, his laughter only fueled by the occasional "Miss Headwife" and other head-related jokes the two would exchange. When they chilled a little, the young werewolf sighed dramatically and looked down at the boy in his lap, eyes full of sorrow "You know, this is the difference between us, Padfoot." he sighed again "I am your favorite mistress, but you are my /only/ mister, aah..." he barely held in his laugh, making sure his eyes wouldn't betray him.

Sirius snorted when the piece of chocolate hit his bestfriend straight in the face. "And 'that' is our Quidditch captain? We should ask for a refund! What about the cup th-hey!" He laughed as he dodged the shoe James just threw at him. "Love you too Prongsie~" He grinned and let himself fall on his back on the seat with his head resting comfortably on Remus lap. "Hm? Yup, all done. Mr and Mrs P. are delighted to have me, I'm their favorite son already." He said playfully.
He was really thankful to James parents who had taken him in last summer after he had finally had enough of his family, if he could actually call them that. He had taken the Knight bus to the Potter's home, still aching from his dear father's farewell gift, and had tried to make things seem less bad than they actually were by asking the other teen if he wanted to adopt a stray dog. His bestfriend had pulled him inside quickly and went to get his parents who had allowed him stay with them since then. The Potters were truly wonderful persons and he'd never be able to thank them enough for everything they had done for him but, he couldn't help feeling like a burden to them. He let out a quiet sigh and tried to focus back on what James had been saying for the last few minutes. "...not fair, but it's actually true, mom loves you more, but it's only because you're always trying to seduce her." Sirius let out a bark-like laugh and took his wand out, twirling it between his fingers. "I'm not trying to seduce her, it's just that she can't resist my charming self, no one can. Right Moony?" He looked up at Remus and gave him one of his most charming smile before scoffing. "And of course Mr Headboy over there is the wife, how could you even think otherwise? But don't worry Moonshine, you're still my favorite mistress!" He smirked and winked playfully.
@Sirius Black [you should add Slughorn's office, for his little Slug Club? or simply a room for the Slug Club, since Lilly was a part of it, right?]
Poor Lupin did not see it coming as he peacefully dosed off in the empty compartment of the Hogwarts Express. Yes, he was excited to go back where he belonged, but he couldn't help his carcolepsy, which kicked in the moment the vehicle started moving slowly off the platform. He knew he had prefect duties to fulfill, but he really couldn't make himself get up right now. He'd check up later, the young seventh-year boy thought and was just about to fall in deep slumber, when someone invited himself in his compartment - someone loud, obnoxious and very much clingy. Sirius Black.
Remus cracked an eye open, trying to feign deep sleep, but it was no use, seeing that his two best friends had infiltrated the compartment, as it was expected - they always traveled together. To be honest, Remus didn't even doubt that they'd come rushing in at one point or another - something had just held them back, James' head boy duties or well.... Sirius' recklessness. He huffed and smiled, letting himself be pulled into Sirius' hug, not saying anything to confirm his statement, but not rejecting it either. He knew it wasn't necessary - Sirius and James could do all the talking for them all, and Remus had only particular times when he would have to step in. He simply smiled at his friend, grinning as his gaze slid over each of them and shook his head, watching the boys bicker over the chocolate, before leaning back and moving the box on the small table where it would be in the same distance from the two, but not before taking a piece of chocolate and throwing it at James with a "Think fast, Prongs." and a grin. He patted Sirius's thigh affectionately "So, summer. Did you finally move in completely with the Potters? Are you two living a happy family life now?" he grinned at Sirius and turned to James "And most importantly - who is the wife?"
@Remus Lupin "There you are!" Sirius cried out dramatically as he roughly pushed the door of the compartment open. "We've been looking for you for ages!" He said, even though they had actually just got on the train."You weren't trying to hide from us, right? Pff, of course you weren't, you missed me way too much to hide from me." He said and plopped down on the seat beside Remus, throwing his arm around his shoulders. "I missed you too Moonbeam~" He grinned brightly at his friend, completely ignoring the fact that the other teen had been half asleep a few seconds ago, and stole a piece of chocolate from the opened box on Remus lap but quickly slapped James hand away when he tried to do the same.
