Key runs in to the dance room, takes in the view before he spun around, " ahh, home sweet home" he said before he went to turn on the song lucifer to dance to
@S_Kai Yixing sighed, he didn't really know what to expect from the classes and it scared him a little bit to be honest. He knew he'd probably made a mistake with what he'd just said and was kicking himself mentally for even having said it. But he was infinitely more comfortable with another student as opposed to the teachers. Yixing looked up at the darker male and shook his head. "Nevermind..I shouldn't have said anything..."Yixing said as he kicked a rock in the middle of the sidewalk. Could he possibly be any more awkward, no I don't think so..he thought to himself with a frown. Yixing looked up at the ramen shop and read the sign, still having a few problems with the hangul occasionally. "I don't think I've been here.."he said with a small shake of his head.
@Lay Jongin's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets, but instead he cleared his throat and nodded in agreement to the other's request. Seriously? How can someone be so naive and actually request help with ual matters from a total stranger? It was mind boggling and left the tan male almost speechless- almost. "I offer my services as a friend, and as a fellow peer then Yixing-ah." He slightly smiled, nearing the location of the local ramen shop known vastly for their low prices but amazing delicious noodle soup. "You ever been here before?" Jongin asked casually, pointing at the sign that spelled out noodles in hangul.
@S_Kai Yixing blinked in surprise at the others confidence. "You ace all of the classes?" he asked surprised and then nodded his head. "Oh so you don't really care about them. I'm a little nervous about them myself. i'm not really very..well experienced." Yixing said with a frown feeling a bit embarrassed to admit it. "I really don't know what to expect in class. ? Well I am taking it, I think I'm enrolled in most of the classes." he said and then felt his cheeks turn red at the thought of the teacher giving private lessons. "I think I'd rather get help from another student.."Yixing said speaking honestly and he glanced at kai as he felt the others breath against his ear. He lifted his head to look at Kai. "Do you really mean that? I'd be too embarrassed to ask the teacher." Yixing said thinking to himself. What was he getting himself into here. Well honestly he was hoping it would all make him a little less naive and maybe even a little more desirable.
@Lay With a sheepish chuckle and awkward neck rub, Jongin then shook his head before recollecting his normal confident self. "To be honest I ace all the classes unless I don't care about them, and most of them I could care less." He glanced at the other, "but if it makes you feel better. I take all the classes here. So one way or another I'll see you again." He smiled lightly, in reassurance for his company later on in the future. There was a pause, for dramatic effect perhaps? "So are you looking forward to the classes Yixing? You don't look much like a guy though...You taking that class? Because I heard the teacher gives private lessons for eager and trying students--" He smirked lightly, before leaning in once more to whisper, "--if you ever need help don't hesitate to call me."
@S_Kai "I could tell that you loved dancing." Yixing said with a gentle expression. "It's written on your face, and how you move..though you should let more emotion in." Yixing said with a smile as he walked next to the other. Yixing's brow arched curiously as the other said he was great in bed. He shivered as he felt the others breath against his ear and he chuckled as he mentioned sleeping. Yixing wasn't exactly confident in bed, in fact he'd never really done anything but he was sure these professors would teach them everything they needed to know. Yixing walked outside of the dance studio and turned to look at Kai. "Are you looking forward to classes?" he asked honestly curious about the others thoughts on their curriculum.
@Lay Jongin chuckled lowly, shaking his head in disbelief- a hidden admiration for the other's subtle charm and cute nature. He looked up, forward before smiling a bit. "Kim Jongin, age 19. Dancing is my passion. Food is my guilty pleasure. Born and raised in my mother country and in relation to ual matters..." He glanced at the other before smirking, "I'm great in bed--" He leaned in and whispered lowly in the younger's ear, "--I can sleep for hours~" With that said, Jongin smirked before pulling away from the close distance, striding towards the exit of the dance studio doors towards a nearby food place, satisfied with his response for Yixing.
@S_Kai Yixing slid his hands into his pockets too, a little unsure of how to proceed around Jongin, he was quiet but he almost seemed to be a bit calculating in his thoughts and mannerisms too. "Ah so you can eat whatever you want and however much you want and not have to worry too much about it. I can't do that all the time, but when I keep up with my dancing I like to have enough energy to keep up." Yixing said with a smile. Yixing tilted his head and his lips as he looked over at Jongin, the dimple on his cheek becoming even more prominent. "Let's see the brief run down of Zhang Yixing. I'm 18, I love to dance, I'm from Changsha, in China. I'm usually pretty nervous and awkward around people, I admit I'm a little naive when it comes to anything..um ual..and I can get embarrassed pretty easily. Does that just about cover everything?" he said with a grin and a flush to his cheeks. "There now my soul has been bared and is out in the open for you." Yixing said with a smile as they walked, he nervously chewed on his bottom lip hoping he hadn't just made a fool out of himself.
@Lay Jongin subtly ignored the other's last comment about possibly not attracting women, instead of answering he opted to change the subject smoothly. He walked a tad bit behind the Yixing, hands in his pockets and sauntering through the deserted dance studio halls. "I'm a bottomless pit. I can eat all day if I wanted, but such an activity would weigh me down during practice and contests so I willingly choose not to be a glutton." He glanced towards the other secretly noting how a small dimple shaped near the corner of Yixing's lips when he moved his mouth; it was cute--Jongin cleared his throat awkwardly to cut off his trailing thoughts. "So what about you Yixing...ah? Mian. but I have no idea how old you are...forgive me if I asked already." He sheepishly chuckled before rubbing the nape of his neck; cursing himself for how awkward he was around the previously-stranger, knowing that he wasn't usually /this careful with choosing his words. Perhaps there was just a intimidating aura around the other? Yeah. That's probably it. Just a weird vibe he was getting. Maybe it was the dance practice previously to. Too many moved throwing off his normal groove.
@S_Kai Yixing's eyes widened slightly and he felt a subtle blush come to his cheeks. He didn't say anything at first but looked up at the other and biting his lower lip he kneeled down and muttered quietly. "Why would i apologize.." he said and lifted his eyes a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. He looked up just in time to catch the cologne that Jongin tossed at him. He sniffed it and thought it actually smelled rather good. He sprayed himself with it and handed it back to Kai. "Thank you."
"Who says I'm interested in attracting ladies?" Yixing said as he raised an eyebrow walking past Kai and out into the hallway, looking back to make sure Kai was following. "I hope you are hungry." Yixing said smiling.
@Lay "You apologizing for trying to seduce me with that shirt off Yixing?" Jongin teased with a small smirk, chuckling lowly and untangling the earphones in his pocket before placing them neatly back into his bag, his iphone causing an awkward bulge near that certain area...but apparently the male didn't notice, and neither should the stranger if not to observant. "You're forgiven." He replied arrogantly before tossing something towards the other from his brief rummage through his bag. It was his cologne...The essence of Kim Jongin on another beside he himself...[yep. Lay smell like Kai! xD]
"That should keep odor under control. Works for me every time. Plus the ladies love it." He smirked before pushing the dance studio door open and setting foot in the nearly deserted hallway, opening the door for the other to exit.
@S_Kai Yixing waited and nodded his head as the other went into the shower room. Yixing hadn't put in much of a workout today, not like the other had so while the other took a quick shower, he pulled out a clean shirt and some jeans and slipping the jeans on quickly he pulled off his shirt, put some deodorant and just as Jongin came back out he pulled the shirt on over his head and smoothed it down over his chest. "Sorry.." he said looking up a little embarassed as he fidgeted with his own bag.
"Mmhmm..my treat."Yixing said with a grin. "How does ramen sound, or Chinese food? Your call." Yixing said as he picked up his bag and slipped it over his shoulder. "I mean if that's ok with you."
@Lay The other's voice brought the dark-skinned male back into reality, Jongin was shaken from his deep thoughts as the other tapped him on the shoulder, his attention and interest sparked at the mention of the word 'eat' since he loved food almost as much as he loved dancing. He chuckled and grabbed a t-shirt from his bag, "give me a minute then." The intention of rinsing- cooling off his upper body before going anywhere. Jongin shuffled quickly into the shower room, emerging moments later with damp dripping bangs and a clean smoothed out white shirt. Lightly jogging over to the other, he slung his bag over his shoulder and slipped the phone into his pants pocket subtly.
"I assume that your treating since you offered?" Jongin replied with an arched eyebrow.
@S_Kai Yixing watched the other his eyes not missing the others tongue sliding across his lips and it made Yixing swallow as he tore his eyes away. Only looking back as the other was bent over his bag, still shirtless and with his boxers showing. Yixing bit his lower lip and chewed on it. Why could he have a little more confidence and just tell the other he thought he was cute.
Yixing heard the others voice mail and it made him frown a little, he could almost hear the feeling of loneliness implied for the other. He noted that Jongin hadn't really moved since the voicemail and it kind of tugged at Yixing's heart a little bit. They seemed to be a little lonely and looking for some kind of companionship, be it friend or otherwise.
Walking over to stand next to the other, Yixing reached down and tapped Kai on the shoulder gently. "Would you like to get something to eat? I don't have any plans." He said his eyes meeting the others as he looked down. His eyes were almost pleading for the other to say yes. Yixing was an outsider, a foreigner, as Kai had said. It made him unique, and different and not everyone was always open to that.
@Lay Jongin arched an amused eyebrow, arms crossed as he shamelessly eyed the other drinking water, robotic personality? Yes, but Kim Jongin was still a human boy, so raging teenage hormones were a big part of his life as well as dancing and his father. He his full lips hungrily, but played it off as though he need some lip balm and his heel in search for that nonexistent chapstick in his gym bag. Crouching down to rummage through his bag, the waistband of his Calvin Klein boxers peeked through the hem of his pants. He reached over and grabbed a towel, clean and monogrammed with his initials as he wiped his neck and chest of the light perspiration before tossing it back into the bag and straightening his posture once more, standing up with his hands tucked in his pockets. His mind wandering a bit as stared at the floor, before finally getting back to reality and realizing that he had company in the room. Before he could open his mouth to say anything though. His voicemail came on speaker, a male voice--deep and gruff on the other line.
"Jongin. I won't be able to make it home in time for dinner. The maids will have something prepared for you so I hope to see you soon when I get back from Singapore alright? Be safe and behave."
The line was disconnected, which left an awkward silence from the dark-complexioned male in the room. His eyes boring a hole through his i-phone which lay slightly sticking out of his gym bag. It was the usual routine for the lonely boy. It was life for Kim Jongin; alone since birth...well not really...just in spirit.
@S_Kai Yixing could tell from the others body movements that he might be opening up just a little and inwardly he kind of hoped so. It would be nice to have someone he could trust, someone he could talk to and consider his friend. He eyed the other with a sideways glance as he moved closer, and smile tugging at the corners of Yixing's lips. The other boy, Jongin, was quite handsome he had to admit. Yixing shook his head trying to clear the thought from his head, but it was difficult with him standing right there without a shirt on.
"You think so?" Yixing said putting his hands on his hips. "And yes fun, you make it look fun though I think if you put a little more heart into it you'd have more fun too." Yixing said with a smile. "Well maybe a weird choice of words..my Korean isn't the best still." Yixing said with a flush to his cheeks as the other boy moved closer.
"Moving like what?" Yixing asked curiously as he tilted his head to look at Jongin. "I move as the music tells me to, dancing is an expression." Yixing said as he a step closer to Jongin, reaching down into his bag for another bottle of water, and bringing it up to his lips to take a drink, a trickle of water escaping his lips and running down his neck.
@Lay Jongin was careful from then on in the conversation, picking and choosing his words as though treading on thin ice. His tone robotic but polite and considerate as his father and maid's trained him to be. He slipped up sometimes, especially when he warmed up to the stranger, like now when he smirked at the other's compliment. Clearly amused by the claim as he casually tucked his hand in his pockets, still shirtless and stepped a few feet closer towards the other in the room; the smirk still intact. *Perhaps I should give this guy a proper welcome to Korea then...since he IS an unaware foreigner and all* He thought with an amused look in his eyes. Jongin flipped his hair before looking up at the ceiling and then back down at the ground, rolling his neck from the kink he had in it for the passed few days.
"You're pretty good with your hips as well Zhang Yixing.../fun you say?"
He smirked and looked at the floor before replacing it with a side smile.
"Weird choice of words you got there..." He slid a few inches closer towards the male, not trying to scare the seemingly cute and shy foreigner away.
"How long have you been moving like that?" He nodded towards no particular part of Lay's body, hands still in his pant pockets and topless.
@S_Kai Yixing blinked a little as the other asked him the question. It blunt and to the point and well Yixing had the feeling that Jongin was just like that, blunt and to the point. Yixing just shook his head and smiled. "It's ok no need to apologize." he said as he walked over to the other and clapped a hand on his shoulder.
"And I understand about being socially awkward, I can be quite shy sometimes and that certainly doesn't help to make friends all the time." Yixing said smiling and then he tilted his head to the side.
"You weren't wrong though. I am a foreigner." Yixing said with a smile. "I'm Chinese, I came here to study, mostly because there was more opportunity here for me than there was at home." Yixing said with a nod of his head.
Yixing paused for a moment and then looked up at Kai. "You are a very talented dancer Jongin." Yixing said as he watched the other. "You move very easily, it's fun to watch."
@Lay [squeezing in one last reply just for you unni~ ^^]
Jongin nodded lightly, already bored with their conversation despite only introducing themselves. It took a lot to impress the boy lately, the dull colorless life he led taking it's toll on the persona he gave off towards others. Not really knowing what else to say, he shuffled his foot along the hardwood floor of the dance studio, hands stuffed in his pockets as he eyes bore into the ground beneath his feet. *Come on Jongin. Come up with something to say! Don't be a jerk now...*
"U-uhh...You a foreigner?"
Mental facepalm. Of course of all things to say, compliment, small talk about the weather, the first thing that comes out of poor socially awkward, all of a sudden, Kim Jongin's mouth is an assumption--rather rude one to.
He wasn't always like this. Careful with what he said. Careful with what he did. Always careful, always watching...He bowed politely.
"Mian. I didn't mean it in that sense. Please don't take anything I just said into offense. I can be a bit socially awkward at times so please excuse me."
@S_Kai Yixing felt a heat come to his cheeks as he happened to notice the other staring at him, his hand on his crotch, seemingly frozen in his last dance move. Luckily, Yixing turned at that moment hoping the other couldn't see the color on his cheeks. He'd been caught off guard when the music stopped and he whipped around to look at the other. "Dance school?" Yixing shook his head. "Well it was just a little dancing academy, I take a few lessons, help out where I can, that kind of thing. Well that and my mom was a dancer, she taught me quite a bit." Yixing said quietly as he gave a bow to the other.
"Zhang Yixing imnida. It's nice to meet you too." he said smiling at the other his voice soft as usual with a happy tone.
@Lay If not for the other's impressive display of dance moves, Jongin would have been too immersed in his own dancing and freestyle to care. The other's smoothness and flowing body movements left the dark-skinned male to admire and stare shamelessly, in mid crotch grab to...a rather awkward position to be staring at another, especially of the same gender. Playing off the stance, Jongin shook off the nerves and paused the music, tilting his head and feigning innocence as he asked where the other went to school for such talent. He himself had natural raw talent, but picked up a lot from dancing school, prestigious and relentless when he was younger, an attendee. He spoke for the first time since they met with a more polite tone, bowing slightly.
@S_Kai Watching closely as the other took the bottle without a word and pouring it over himself. Yixing didn't mind that the other didn't even say thank you, he was too easy going and mild-mannered to mind the lack of courtesy from the other boy. He watched with curious eyes as the other took off his sweat and water soaked shirt. Yixing had to admit the other had a very nice body and he admired the others skin tone too, it was different, very unlike the milky color his was. Yixing moved away from where he stood by the wall and walked back to where his bag was. This might have been a bad idea but dance was something he couldn't just turn away from, it was a part of him and something he enjoyed. Despite all the classes and schoolwork and nagging from friends and parents alike, Yixing kept his dancing as his constant, it was just something he enjoyed. He stretched out a little, limbering up muscles that were a little stiff from the cold weather.
Yixing watched as the other the music and started to move. He stretched but kept his eyes up on the movements of the other boy, he moved with ease stepping into each move, making them flow together. Yixing had to admit the other knew how to dance but he could also see that the other was holding something back, there just wasn't that emotion to his dance, at least not as he would have seen it. Yixing got to his feet and standing away from the other he started to move to the beat. The music flowed through Yixing's veins and he could feel the beat, not just as a note or a count, but as a feeling. Dance wasn't just movements of his body, it was also an extension of his feelings and an expression of himself..it was him but only freer. Yixing's body flowed to the music and he just let it take over not caring at the moment what the other was doing, for him it was all about the music right now.
@Lay Uncovering his eyes, Jongin lazily took the bottle offered to him, voicing a brief thanks before gulping down most of it, the rest he poured over his head and shook his bangs, water dripping down the front of his black wife beater. He then peeled off the damp shirt, exposing his bare chest and abs shamelessly towards the stranger, not really caring since he was confident---more like arrogant---in his own skin, despite it being darker than most; but to him it gave a more signature look. His baby-face, toned figure, smooth dance steps, and overall personality a mixture for trouble. Kim Jongin's middle name might as well have dancing machine for how much he loved the activity, even if it was mostly work not instead of recreational as it used to be. Ever since his father discovered his hidden talent as a young boy, he was pushed and tested to his limit. Barely enough time for a social life with enduring academic studies and duration of long dance practices, singing practice, and even rap and composing...Much too much for a normal teenage boy, but for Kim Jongin, it broke him. He wasn't the same as he was before all this practice and work came into his life.
Back to the scene with Jongin and Yixing, the dark-complexioned boy, no shirtless flipped his hair and briskly tossed it towards an adidas gym bag. No commenting on whether of not he minded if the other kept him company. The music once more as he pressed the button, as if the other was supposed to assume that no; he didn't mind if Lay stayed. Just be careful not to overstay the welcome. Once the music started up again, Jongin began to move his body, flowing and free from harsh scrutinizing, the male was able to perform better than with his dance instructor. Perhaps simply lifting a bit of pressure and burden off his shoulder would do the trick? Maybe the other would the cure for the case of Jonginitis---perfectionism. [lol. made up disease xDD]
@S_Kai Yixing was nearly plowed into as he walked down the hallway, on his way to the dance studeio. He danced to the side to avoid the older man who never even bothered to glance his direction. The young female looked up at him apologetically and then hurried after the man looking a bit harried. Yixing didn't envy her one bit, not even for a microsecond. It was obvious that they had just come from the dance studio, after all it was the only room down this direction of the hallway. Yixing ran a hand through his hair and shrugged, well at least they weren't in there anymore.
Yixing walked down the hallway, his earbuds in his ears as he listened to the music playing on his IPod. He needed to dance, he needed the break away from reality, away from everything else in his life. Dance was his one escape, the one place he felt he could just completely let go and not even think about it. The one place where he could be himself and feel no regret.
Opening the door to the studio, Yixing walked in and was surprised to see someone else leaning against the wall. He pulled the buds out of his ear and tossed the IPod in his bag. The other leaning on the wall was sweaty, looked exhausted and if that man leaving was any indication, had probably just been through hell. Yixing set his bag down on the ground and walked over to the other and tapped his arm. "Hey are you alright? You look like you've just been to hell and back. Yixing held up a water bottle,"Here take this you look like you need it. And I hope you don't mind if I join you."
@Lay Hissing in pain, Kim Jongin once again bite his lower lip softly, the signature feature on his baby face aside from his arrogant smirk that was known throughout the university. Either as bad news or good news was one to personally decide. The former being more accurate and correct. The dance instructor, the one Jongin's father had hired, was once more scolding the tanned skinned male who propped himself up by the palms of his hands on the hardwood dance studio floor with his chest heaving. Physically he had taken a beating, sweating staining his black wife beater and forehead bangs slightly matted to his forehead; but mentally he was on a whole different level. The tan male got back up on his feet, after the yelling his had received, the backlash from the professional instructor and dusted his thighs off before apologizing monotonously, robotic and without emotion.
"Do it again Jongin."
Jongin nodded curtly before starting the choreography once more, everything going along swimmingly until the quickened steps and sudden turn, causing the male to once again tumble down onto the harsh cold floor, sweat now dripping from his bangs and tainting the gleaming wood floor.
The instructor cursed under his breath and ran an frustrated hand through his hair before telling his assistant to grab his bags, and walked towards the water bottle on top of the piano, his face turned a bit so Kai could see the side profile.
"Work harder."
The elder coldly stated before abruptly turning on his heel and walking briskly out the dance studio door, his petite female assistant scurrying behind with full hands. Leaving a frustrated male leaning against the wall, cursing himself before covering his eyes with an arm and tilted his head towards the ceiling, one leg propped up and one outstretched.
@Shimmy Eunhyuk rubbed the towel on his neck as he watched the other male curiously, wondering if he was in trouble already for using the room. He'd slowly nod at the words he heard and then lifted his head a little when he noticed the male coming over to him. Eunhyuk brought his hand back to his side, letting the towel hang from his hand and only let it go when it was taken from him. The next thing Eunhyuk knew, he was looking a little caught, biting down on his lip a bit and made a small startled noise when the towel had made contact with his . "I swear I wasn't going to." Eunhyuk said, most likely in a bit of denial since he was planning to... just not yet. He'd shiver slightly at the feeling that the blowing to his ear produced, turning his gaze towards the teacher. "You could have? I'll keep that in mind." He'd mutter quietly, Eunhyuk bit back a smirk that was wanting to show.
