@( ✔ ) park minha. Jisoo didn't notice her staring, since he was a little pissed that he got wet, but he tried to hide it.
The man stopped his hands and looked up from his shirt and focused on her. Was she inviting him to her place? Is she an idiot?
He thought about this as he looked at her, with an eyebrow raised. When she gave no reaction, Joshua bite his lower lip slightly and nodded slowly.
"Yeah.. Sure."
Joshua put his coat on, and followed the girl to her place not to far away. He noticed that his apartment building wasn't to far away, maybe a block or two.
(I don't know what else to write since i don't know whether Minha lives in apartment or house)
@( ❌ ) hong jisoo. Minha didn't dislike the rain, in fact the female angel even found it enjoyable. Listening to the little droplets splattering to the ground, the air noticable cooling down as the exhaust fumes were washed away, it all made her feel at ease. So when Jisoo grabbed her arm and pulled her away, she almost let out a small protest, but eventually resigned, knowing that it was probably best to look for a shelter right now. Staying too long in the rain would only end in a cold and getting sick wasn't an option for her.
Once the two of them had found a shelter, she slightly turned her head, watching the male beside her drying his shirt. His wet shirt which slowly became see-through. He had a good body, she noticed. Not overly muscular, but it wasn't hard to see that he didn't neglect his fitness. just for a second her eyes lingered on his chest before she looked up into his face, watching a single waterdrop run down his neck.
"I'm fine. It's just water after all." Her head turned back to the front, as she stared into the dark night, feeling very much at ease. She knew, what she was going to do next was reckless, but somehow Minha didn't feel scared of the demon next to her. "I'm living close by. We could go there to dry off."
@( ✔ ) park minha. As the angel spoke, Joshua looked up to the sky and a droplet fell on his cheek. He cursed and wiped it off. But soon, both his shirt and hair were wet as .
Before thinking anything through, Jisoo pulled Minha's arm to a small building that was closed, but had a little roof in front of the door.
".." He mumbled pushing his hair back and lightly dabbing his shirt with the coat he was holding.
"You okay?" He asked, glancing at the angel with running makeup briefly before turning his attention back to his now almost drenched shirt.
@( ❌ ) hong jisoo. If she called him by his real name, Minha did it unintentionally, simply for the fact that it was the name she was first introduced to. Before even meeting him, her supervisor had shown her a picture of the male demon, telling her to be careful when being around Hong Jisoo. Not because he feared she could be physically hurt, but it was common knowledge that Jisoo was someone who could easily trick people just with words. Him winning the case was one of the examples.
The reason why she slapped him? Although it indeed ticked her off that he was making some comments she rather not heard about her and her body, it actually went way deeper. When seeing the male in court, standing there so confidently, his words sounding so ever convincing, for a short moment Minha felt something like admiration for her opponent. And then the case ended and he came up to her, making these rude comments and she realized that the person in the courtroom was only a show, that his real self was actually much worse. And she hated it. Hated him for tricking her. Hated herself for falling for his trick. His words kept coming and that moment she snapped, her mand moving faster than she could comprehend. But it was the only way to shut him up.
"Still...I should have never used violence, wether it's against a human or a demon." Letting out a soft sigh, the female turned around, her head tilted up as she stared into the dark night sky. "We should hurry up a bit. it's probably going to rain soon." As if to prove her right, thick droplets began falling down to the ground, slowly and only a few at first, before the clouds eventually released all the pent-up water, covering the streets with a thin wet layer.
@( ✔ ) park minha. Joshua glanced at her. She was right. She's not a human, she can take care of herself and Joshua knew that. But why was he doing this?
What's even more unusual is what she calls him by. In Hell, he would never let anyone call him Jisoo, for some reason, he hated the name his mother gave him. After she was executed for supposedly killing a human, which never happened. But ever since, he never let anyone call him that name, he torture them and made them call him Joshua. But when the angel in front of him says it.. he feels calm.
He thought about all this as she searched his eyes, knowing that she was looking for something that would tell her to run. but he knew she gave up not long after.
Joshua chuckled at her words, recalling the incident maybe 5 months ago, in Heaven's court house. A man died and he was to be weighed for his sins and good deeds. Jisoo is a very good lawyer. The man ended up in Hell, but after the trial, he came up to the little angel who was watching over him. He said a few things about the man and few things about her which made the little angel slap him.
"Don't worry, Minha. That... was a good experience. Now I know what makes angels tick." He smiled softly< choosing to ignore the fact that he was worrying about her and she acknowledged it.
@( ❌ ) hong jisoo. She didn't know why, but somehow Minha felt a bit relieved when the male eventually appeared in front of her, even more when he started talking to her. Although she didn't quite like what he told her but at least it was better than him avoinding her.
"you should know best that I'm not an ordinary girl. I've been taking care of myself the past several hundreds years so no need to worry." Slowly she stepped forward, little by little coming closer to the male demon, before she eventually came to a stop right in front of him. Slightly tilting her head up, she searched for his eyes, trying to find anything that told her it was a bad idea to be talking to a demon this late at night in an empty street, but all she could find were genuine worries, which made her more than confused. Once again she wondered why Jisoo did all this, but she couldn't bring herself to ask, fearing that his answer might not be what she wanted to hear.
"But thank you for worrying anyway...and also I'm sorry. For what happened back then. I shouldn't have slapped you. And sorry for making you worry over me."
@( ✔ ) park minha. Hovering right on top of the ground, he followed her silently, not daring to create foot steps. Jisoo rarely used his powers, for any occasion unless he had to. At the moment, he was in a form only the underworld creatures could see, so he knew she couldn't know that he was following her.
He thought to soon.
The moment she turned around and his real name slipped out her lips, Joshua sighed, dropping to the ground.
He honestly did not want to loose his pride to be caught red handed, but that was unstoppable.
Joshua snapped his fingers and revealed himself, standing not to far underneath a street lamp, looking away with his hands in his pockets. Jisoo let out a sigh and shook his head.
"It's not what you think, Minha. No matter what you are, to humans you're just a girl.. It's not a safe area either."
@( ❌ ) hong jisoo. [nah it's fine...sadly a lot of people don't even know that there is a Minah and a Minha u_u]
The moment she stepped out of the nightclub, Minha was immediately surrounded by silence, making the female let out a soft sigh. This was much better than staying in the stuffy and loud club. Although feeling sorry for leaving early, right now she needed some time to think about what had happened. Silently she began walking down the street, enjoying the soft night breeze as her memories kept replaying the incidents from earlier this night. His big hands on her waist, his soft lips o her neck, his warm breath tickling her skin. Unconsciously, her hand wandered up to her neck, covering the part where the demon had left a hickey.
This was so wrong. So very wrong...but why was her heart beating faster when she thought about the demon. Surely, she wasn't in love with him. After all, the times they had seen each before could be easily counted with one hand and the last time she had seen him had ended with her slapping him. Which she actually felt sorry for. Especially after meeting him today. Despite the way he had approached her in the beginning, his tendency to get touchy, he had immediately stopped the moment she told him to let her go. So was it right to assume that Hong Jisoo wasn't as much of a bad person as she had thought? But even if he wasn't a bad person, he was still a demon, so even being friends with him was impossible.
"But still...i should have apologized..."
It took her a moment before she eventually realized that she wasn't alone. Although she couldn't see him in the dark, nor hear him, Minha could feel his strong presence, his dark aura somewhere behind her. If it had been any other person, any other demon, she would have already spread her wings and fled, but this was different. And she still had to apologize.
"Jisoo.." Turning around her eyes stared into the darkness, the only source of light a few rays of moonlight that broke through a thick layer of clouds, barely enough for her to see a few feet ahead. She was sure that he was there, but would he really step out of the darkness to talk to her? After all she had told him to let her go not too long ago. and still she stood there, patiently waiting for him to appear in front of her.
@( ✔ ) park minha. (Yaa i noticed i was really shocked before cause i was always reading it as minah! :p Soz i'm blind. |I'll make sure tp say minha now~
But dw it's fun. sort of exciting tbh)
He didn't know what washed over him. Joshua had everything, he could get anything, yet his eyes were fixated on the angel across the room. He looked at the girl on his lap the moment, the girl that his mates paid to screw him, and pushed her off to his friends lap.
"I'm not in the mood tonight." He watched her take her coat and purse as he downed the brown liquid in his glass in one shot. When out of sight, he changed into a form in where only non-mortals can see him.
'What the am i doing?' Jisoo thought, 'All this for a angel.. Josh is your head on straight?'
For a reason he did not know, Joshua started to follow her out of the club. He watched her and copied her steps from a far distance. He knew not of the reason he was doing this, but he knew he had no bad intentions.
@( ❌ ) hong jisoo. [ah sorry for making you feel bad >.<
P.S. her name is Minha. get her name right or it will cause Jisoo a lot of trouble later on :P]
If only everything was as easy as Jisoo said. But sadly, reality was different. Although Minha herself had heard some rumours about angels and demons being together, she was still different from then. Unlike them she long ago had made a promise to herself and to God, that her work and duties would always have priority over anything else. After all she was only created to help the humans find the right path, it was the only reason to her existence. After falling in love once in her earlier years, the female soon had to find out that both working and being in a relationship at the same time just didn't work out. Spending too much time with her lover made her slack off at work while working hard meant that she would have less team for her beloved so in the end Minha had parted ways, deciding that from then on she would be married to her work.
"Like I said...it's for the better." A soft smile was gracing her lips as she looked at the male, feeling almost apologetic. No matter how much she disliked Jisoo, seeing someone so disappointed always made her feel a bit bad. But not bad enough to make her stop him from leaving.
"Goodnight..." Silently, the female angel watched him going back, her eyes lingering on his back for a little bit longer than intended, before she eventually looked away, telling herself over and over again that this wasn't meant to be. It's not as if he had asked her out for dating anyway.
"For him I'm probably just a plaything, A one time only before he looses interest." letting out a soft sigh, the female grabbed her coat and handbag, deciding it was probably better for herself to go back home.
@( ✔ ) park minha. (hhnnngghh- this is making me feel bad- i'm a Christian and there is a cross beside me ahhh-)
"Minah, it's not like any of us will get executed for it. I know the rules." Joshua states. He has had encounter with several angels before, and his life source hasn't been taken away, so he know there is no harm that could be done. Hell, he even has a fellow demon marry and have children with an angel. But Joshua knows that Minah is quiet an old angel, almost as old as he a demon. He knows she lives by the old beliefs.
"Do you really want me too let you go? Be careful of what you wish for..." He looked at her with daring eyes, as if asking her if that is what she really wanted.
Joshua nods and stands after setting the angel back on the booth and grabbing his drink.
"Goodnight Minah."
He starts to walk back across the room and back to his booth with the guys, but throughout the night, his eye never left her body.
@( ❌ ) hong jisoo. Why? Why was he so fixated on her? There were plenty of other beautiful girls out there in the world, so why did it have to be her? All the things he had mentioned earlier, those traits could be easily found in other females, so was it because she was an angel? Like a forbidden fruit, tempting, beguiling? But then if that was the reason, then how was she supposed to forget what she was?
"I'm sorry, but I can't." Silently, Minha watched him looking away. Why was he so frustrated? Why was he so disappointed? Even from the very beginning, he should have known that it was impossible for the two of them to be together, even if it was just for one night. Just like good and evil, day and night, they were only meant to coexist. If one of them appeared, the other had to evade.
"Changing my mind..." For a moment she thought about his words, wondering herself if there was a chance for her to change her mind, but she just couldn't imagine herself choosing someone else over God.
"just...let me go, please? I don't think it will be any good for either of us t be together any longer."
@( ✔ ) park minha. "Are you ing serious? No, I'm not getting even."
He gave her a pointed look and kept his hand on her waist, though he had stopped rubbing, he isn't going down. His pride won't let him.
"For once, forget it. Forget what ever you are and just-" Jisoo sighed, looking away.
"What do i have to do to make you change your mind?" He asked, raising both brows and his lips. he dipped his head back towards her nape and pecked it softly. He lips came right under her ear and lightly the outer shell.
@( ❌ ) hong jisoo. Later on, when thinking back to this night, Minha could only shake her head. This whole thing....just didn't seem right. A righ ranked angel like her, sitting on a demon's lap, letting him touch her and whisper words sweet as honey into her hear. If HE, the almighty creator knew, would he despise her? Would he feel embarrassed at how easily her defense had broken down because of a demon and a few drinks? Or would he just shake his head, not even looking at her anymore? As those thoughts were running through her mind, Minha felt the fear reaching out for her, tightly clasping around her heart. Anything, she could endure any pain, any embarrassment, but just thinking that she might disappoint the almighty one was too much.
Carefully the female placed her hands onto the demon's chest, lightly pushing him away as she lifted her gaze, looking straight into his eyes. Just for a moment, Minha quietly searched the depths of his eyes for anything, something, before she eventually shook her head, the soft locks of her dark her falling over her shoulder, covering up the spot he had kissed only moments ago.
"We can't. We absolutely can't." Again, she shook her head, just to undermine her words. "Even if we had met under different circumstances, in a different time, a different place, there is no way we could. Because you are a demon and I am an angel. You can be with anyone you want, but my heart, my body, my soul, they all belong to him, and only him. That's why...if you're doing all this just as revenge for back then, I'd rather let you slap me once so that we're even."
@( ✔ ) park minha. Then man chuckles as he takes in her scent. He nips lightly against the skin of her neck and leaves a small, but noticeable mark. It's been a while since he done anything this far with an angel and to think that he had already got her heart beating and breathing heavy with nothing but words turned him on. Joshua has always been against rules, always being as dauntless as ever, knowing that he couldn't get into any trouble unless he killed a human before it's time.
But now, knowing he has got a small but steady grip on the angel that caught his eye in a court room, who had the balls to lay a hand on him in front of witnesses, who had turned him on in the middle of a trial, he is willing to try anything to make her his. And maybe this time, not only a one time thing. But he doesn't plan that far ahead.
Once he hears her question, he scoffs and runs his hands down her waist, nearing her but not closing in on it.
"Why you, you ask?" He smiles and pecks at her open shoulder.
"That's an easy one. You are beautiful, kind, sweet, cute and for an angel, steaming hot. So i reply to your question with my own... Why not?"
He whispers lowly in her ear.
@( ❌ ) hong jisoo. "It's hard to forget someone like you, you know?" A hateful person like him, she wanted to say, but then again, Park Minha wasn't the type of person who would say hurtful things, wether she was talking to a human or a demon. As the male moved closer to her, the angel's eyebrow furrowed. Despite her urge to get away from him, she didn't move an inch, knowing very well that he would take it as a sign of weakness. So instead she just stared at him with a blank expression, trying to hide any emotion.
Just that...it was impossible not to give any reaction when suddenly being so close to anyone. In the hundreds of years that she had already lived, Minha had always successfully avoided any close relationships, believing that those weren't meant for an angel like her. She, a creature born in the heaven's realm, whose only meaning in life was to help the lost humans down on the earth to find back on the right path, whose body and soul belonged to the mighty creator only. Someone like her wasn't supposed to feel this nervous in this kind of situation. And still, she couldn't stop her heartbeat from increasing, couldn't stop the blood rushing into her cheeks, faintly colouring her usually pale skin with a light pink.
@( ✔ ) park minha. Joshua smiles when she says his name. "I see you haven't forgotten." He says with a grin. Joshua was very surprised that day. He didn't know that angels could have been so violent as to slap a demon.
Scooting a little closer to her, Joshua smirked and sipped at his drink, focusing on it more than the beautiful angel beside him.
"Do you really want to know what i want right now?" He asks before setting his glass down and pulling the angel on his lap and he whispers into her ear.
"You."
@( ❌ ) hong jiso. Her brain was working on full speed, trying to recall the incident he was talking about. Somewhere back in her mind, the hazy memories of that day long time ago eventually came up to the surface. After all she rarely ever used physical violence on anyone, wether it was a human or a demon. That day...what had made her so angry that she lost control? If she remembered correctly, him meddling with the boy she was in charge of was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Before that, wasn't it rather the demon making all these kind of lewd comments that ticked her off? just like right now...
"Hong Jisoo..." She spat out his name with disgust, hating the fact that he had managed to get under her skin back then. This time, she would be careful not to raise a hand against him. "It's none of your business what i do or not do. just quickly tell me what ou want and then leave me in peace please. I'd rather not start a fight here with all these people around."
@( ✔ ) park minha. He knew she intoxicated, even though it was only slightly, it was enough for him.
"You do. We met at heaven court once... I believe you slapped me for accusing some boy you were gaurding for... what was it... I can't remember..." He replies, surprisingly sweetly.
Joshua comes up beside her and sits down.
"But i see the little angel has taken a break from being oh so holy and came to the fun side huh?" He asks, looking at her body, her clothing, how she did her make up.
"The bad girl look suits you, Minah." he smirks and swirls his drink.
@( ❌ ) hong jiso. Her eyes were still on the male when Minha felt her friend nudging her side, the latter's teasing voice asking her if she had found someone to her liking, which she quickly refused with a nervous laugh. No, she wasn't feeling attracted to the male, but at the same time she couldn't deny that there was something about him that kept drawing her attention. But maybe it was for the best if she stopped looking his way, or at least she shouldn't be doing it so obviously.
As the night progressed, the angel slowly started to relax more an more, momentarily even forgetting about the male from the other side of the room. Although not having drunk that much, Minha could tell that she at least was a bit tipsy, enough for her to lower her guard. So when the male approached her, his warm breath tickling the lobe of her ear, she almost flinched, not having noticed him sneaking up to her. Turning around, with a slight frown on her forehead, Minha stared at the male, trying to figure out who he was and why he would know her name. But as much as she tried to remember, she just couldn't match a name to his face which she blamed on the alcohol.
@( ✔ ) park minha. He felt a pair of eyes on him. Joshua scanned the crowed around him and noticed a girl who just turned her head away from him.
She seemed pretty enough, cute and innocent vibe coming from a seductive looking girl. His eyes raked her body before one of his mates asked him if anything was wrong. He simply smirked and shook his head, returning to laughing and swiging his drink.
But his eyes would always wonder back to the girl across the room, he felt like he knew this girl.
That's when he saw the glitch of her wings come out from her back before she hid it again, just like what he does with his tail.
'An angle' He thought.
Joshua examined her face before scoffing. He was right, he did know her.
"Aye, lads. Looks like i found my target tonight. If you'd excuse me.." He excused himself from his booth and walked over to her booth where she sat alone. He assumed the rest of the girls went dancing.
Joshua comes up behind her and whispers in her ear.
"Park Minah, it's been awhile."
@( ❌ ) hong jiso. Being more of a calm person, it was actually rare for Minha to spend her nights outside in the city just for fun. If it was for work, like keeping an eye on someone she was assigned to, the female angel would just follow them quietly, either by making herself invisible or simply dressing as unconspicuously as possible. But today was different. It was one of her closer friend's birthday and the female had literally dragged her along. Not in a mood to fight with her friend, Minha had soon given up to make up excuses and tagged along.
Meeting up with her friend's friends in the afternoon, the young women had gone on a shopping spree, spending money on outfits they would probably only wear once, maybe twice, before the pieces of clothes would disappear in the back of her closets. For a moment Minha thought about just wearing something casual like a pair of shorts with a matching shirt but she knew that her friend wouldn't let her go into a club dressed like that. So in the end she slipped into a black off-shoulder lace trim dress that covered about half her thighs, telling herself that dressing up once in a while wasn't all too bad.
As soon as the group of women entered the club, Minha already felt the many pairs of eyes following them, making the female feel a bit uncomfortable. Pushing a strand of her chocolate brown hair back, she granted the staring crowd a shy smile before linking arms with her friend, pulling the girl towards a vacant booth, knowing that the other would follow. She wasn't neccessarily shy, but Minha preferred to not attract any attention.
Finally, when the group had settled down, the female angel let out a soft sigh. While her companions were busy with ordering their drinks, Minha took her chance to glance across the filled club, letting her eyes wander around aimlessly, searching for anything that would spark her interest. And soon she found that it, or better him. Standing across the room was a group of males, all of them good looking, young males but only the one standing on the far right managed to catch her eyes. There was just something different about him, that made him stand out in an almost dangerous way. She would definitely have to keep an eye on him.
@jung minhee. [[ your starter was so perfect!! *-* my answer is poor I think and I'm sorry, it will get better was soon as I'll get used to my character!]]
There was no better view than the DJ's booth: closer than the Vip area, enough to smell the sinful thoughts of the crowd without any issue and high up enough to appreciate the fog of dark auras brushing each others. Jinwoo didn't have to interfere yet and maybe would he not find the faintest innocent soul to drag into darkness. He came in to have a drink, feel almost at home in hell, have a nice time before he'd have to pull on the tiniest threads the following day, wooing pure souls into dependency and lust.
He was a loner and yet in the club, it seemed like he knew everyone. As a matter of fact, he had visited the minds of many of the regulars, he knew yhings about them they wouldn't even whisper to themselves at night under choking layers of blankets. He knew their weaknesses and assets for humans couldn't be strong. Strength was too noble to be associated to the leaves-like beings. Still Jinwoo liked to toy with them enough to enjoy seeing them day after day, coming in there, trying to turn the wet dreams he blew into their minds into reality.
The empowering influence of his on their needs without them knowing was brightly exciting. Some went crazy because of his oppressing intrusions, committing murder when they didn't get what they wanted on their terms, passion unleashed. Yet each subject was different and some people in this nightclub actually experienced borderline dreams of the Incubus himself. He was willing to test humans, again and again until they'd break and then he would /treat/ them, adding up to their madness. No other demon could be as lucky as he was and yet someone's presence in the club was bothering.
Jinwoo patted the DJ's shoulder before climbing down the stairs, his eyes gazing at the faces. It was not an angelic presence, but it felt as if it was hostile to his reign.
His eyes settled on a beauty's face, fully aware that he had seen her already, even from a distance. Jinwoo didn't bother remembering people's face because humans he played with would remember him if he needed them to. But this one was just like him it seemed, feeding off the insanity of the Friday night fever.
Jinwoo decided the unnerving aftertaste was all about territory when he strided to her petite figure.
"Having a good time I see… too bad it's my meat you're feasting on." He said for the fellow demon to hear. He didn't try to perceive anything else, the most important was to decide whether he'd allow her on his playground or not tonight. He had seen her already, definitely but still he couldn't pinpoint the place and time, eventhough he was a regular of her cafe.
I don't really want to leave, but I've been too busy lately. I'm sorry. I don't want to hog up a character, especially since she's a slightly popular celebrity. Thank you for having me though!
