⚄ Room 5

@Kim Taehyung Before Youngjae stepped out the door, he grinned at Taehyung, glad he'd warmed up to Youngjae so quickly. Youngjae knew he came on a bit strong sometimes, but having a friend other than his roommate was pretty nice.

"Wow, thanks, man," Youngjae said with a wave. "I'll see you later, then."

@Yoo Youngjae Having learned how exceptionally distinct his room his from the other ones, Taehyung felt a twinge of joy inside him, smiling to himself as he peered back at the sight.

"You know, if you want, you can always come by here." It felt strange for Taehyung to speak those words out as he had never been inclined to having a company around him. However, he just shrugged it off, thinking that he should try socializing and making acquaintances in this place. Gain some friends in this academy in which everyone held a secret. And this boy, Youngjae—he had to have one as well.

With a tiny smile on his lips Taehyung bid the other a farewell. "See you later then."

@Kim Taehyung Youngjae shook his head. "Nah. There's another building in front of my window." He laughed lightly. "Not the prettiest sight."

He pushed off the doorframe and walked up to the window, whistling. "Yeah, you can't really find a view like this anywhere else in the dorms."

Sensing his own impoliteness, Youngjae held up his hands, struggling to hold his things in his arms. "Ah, sorry, didn't mean to just walk in." He smiled again, bowing his head a little. "Well, I should probably get going... Nice to meet you, Taehyung."

@Yoo Youngjae Having lived in solitude all his life, Taehyung was inept in social interaction; he didn't know what his response should be to Youngjae. He didn't know whether he should tell him honestly about the bed he obtained or not. Now he pondered whether he should even respond.

Taehyung hesitated awhile before speaking, "It's fine, I guess . . ." He gazed back at the window for the hundredth time and added, "Yes, it is. I've never really seen a scenery like this before."

Feeling as though he just revealed a fact of himself, Taehyung hoped the other would not ask him about it. To get himself free from the potential inquiry, the boy asked the other instead. "Don't you have that in your room?"

@Kim Taehyung Youngjae, sensing Taehyung's nervousness, smiled again. He leaned against the doorway, half in and half out of the room. He didn't mean to scare the guy. Although, suddenly popping into a room without warning was probably cause for some alarm.

"How do you like the place?" Youngjae asked. He nodded to the window. "Pretty cool how you got the view."

@Yoo Youngjae The new student, oblivious to the door's being open, took his clothes off, tossed them aside, and hastily wore a fresh clothing he got from his bag. Desiring to indulge himself in the sight beyond the window once again before changing the bedsheets, Taehyung marveled once more. It's not until he perceived a faint sound coming from the distance that his skin started to be covered with scales. Turning his head a little to glance at his back, Taehyung came to the realization that it was just mere footsteps, and, sensing no imminent threat, changed his skin back to its normal state.

Upon checking the door he left ajar, Taehyung found himself looking at a stranger introducing himself as Younjae. Skeptically, he acknowledged the boy as well.

"Hey. Uh, Youngjae," Taehyung muttered, almost forgetting to state his name. "Taehyung."

@Kim Taehyung Youngjae passed by the room as he walked to the bathroom, noticing the door was open. Weird, he thought. It wasn't usually open. When he looked inside, he saw someone standing by the window. Oh, no wonder. A new student? Cool, he'll introduce himself.

"Hi, I'm Youngjae," he said with a smile.

Upon entering the room given provided for him by the school administrator, Taehyung promptly jumped to the bed placed near the window where the sight of the city was visible. His hands went to touch the glass, his face manifesting admiration of the view. He was practically gaping, so preoccupied by the cityscape that he was unable to recognize the quality of the bed he was settled on. It's not until he began feeling the mattress that Taehyung finally took notice of the inferior, insipid bed the sheets of which seemed like they hadn't been washed for ages. Looking over at the other bed which looked pristine across him, the side where the door also was, he figured that the the former occupants must have also opted to take the bed as he did. There were no questioning why; the view before his very eyes was the answer.

"What this bed needs is just a simple makeover," Taehyung mused as he prepared to change to a more comfortable attire.
