@park minhyuk The loud crinkling of the plastic bag between his fingers amused her, taking note of how nervous he was- which she had assumed from his trembling hands. It was amusing to her, and appeared to her that he was wanting to prolong the conversation for as long as he possibly could, just like she wanted to. "Wow, easiest 41 cents of my life." She chuckles, shoving the bills into the register as she finishes up the rest of the exchange. As the male is answering her question, she listens intently, suspecting that he'd probably reveal a little more about herself as she had noted previously that he has a tendency to blabber on. "You brother?" Her eyebrow perked, a small grin peering onto her features as she finds the fact that you had gotten the sweets for your brother very cute and was envious of it, one way or another. "No, I don't have any siblings - I'm an only child." She sighed, shrugging her shoulders before stretching her arms out, hopefully to help you be aware that she's comfortable with you so far. "It's like... 2AM, though... what kind of work do you do that keeps you up so late?"

@kim jiho The stilling silence after he had asked the stupid question made Minhyuk's stomach churn with a sickly nervous feeling, know by now that she probably wouldn't answer such a strange question. She must've thought he was some creep. He had minimal time to overthink the words that had uttered from his lips, yet assuming that since she was asleep, she must've been dreaming... right? Minhyuk's wondering eyes flickered to the girl's face upon her voice breaking the quietness in the small store. "O-Oh .." He chuckled nervously, taken back by the way she replied, let alone that she answered him at all. Immediately, with his shaking hands- which he didn't even realize were shaking in the first place, he reached into his back pocket for his wallet. He grabbed four dollars and set them on the counter, embarrassed by his trembling hand. "Please.. keep the change." Minhyuk smiled up at the girl whom had her hands over her cheeks, which earned her a soft laughter, sent resonating throughout the area. Instinctively, the young male's hands reached up to grab the bag which held his purchased items. His eyebrow perked up at her question, surprised that she had asked him a question in return. "I- Well - My brother... he's been pestering me about getting some choco pies for him," He said freely, nodding along to his words. Casually, Minhyuk shrugged his shoulders. He knew that he could've just ended the meeting just like that and thank her for her services. But. ..he didn't want it to end. "And even though he has an assistant chef as a brother, he still wants store bought desserts," He added with a tight-lipped smile. "..Siblings..Do you have any younger siblings?" Minhyuk hoped it wasn't too strange of a question to ask since he had already brought up the subject of his own brother before hand. He didn't even know if this was going to work, but he just hoped that it would work out.

The question echoed through her mind for a moment as she found herself in an utter confusion. How did he know she was dreaming about Matt Damon? How did he know she loved Matt Damon much more than she did her own life? Her expression was blank for that few seconds she took to comprehend the question, soon finding it rather amusing that the male was bold enough to ask such a question and a small grin peering on her features to prove it. "Well- yeah it was a nice dream, thank you for asking." She cannot help but chuckle, unable to look up to make eye contact with the attractive male as she's still flustered from the awkward exchange from earlier. "Your total will be $3.59..." Bagging up the few items presented to her, she politely hands the bag to the taller male with both hands raised high, in a manner that would allow for her arms to cover up her flushed cheeks. At this point, she's quite unsure why she had been flustered for so long - it was much unlike her as strange things happening in the wee hours of the night have ceased to faze her the longer she had worked the job. Maybe it was that smile, that goofy looking smile that she liked somehow- or that caring demeanor that he had that just made her feel fluffy. But nonetheless, he was cute, and there was something in her that wanted him to stay longer. "Um, if it's not too rude, may I ask why you're buying chocopies so late at night like this?" It was rude. She knew it was rude to ask. In fact, she was trained not to even ask why the hell people are buying the items they are. She damn well knew that, but she didn't care - at least, not until he replies - in other words, there was still a slim chance that it might work out in her favor, she thought to herself.

@kim jiho Minhyuk leaned back in surprise as he watched her eyes fly open, her body shaking awake makin it all the more flustering. She looked surprised yet on full alert. The corners of Minhyuk's full lips curved into a hesitant smile- slightly embarrassed for being there. He watched her intently as she wiped the drool of her cheek, noticing that there was still a few white speckles of saliva at the corner of the girl's lips. Minhyuk chuckled at her quick re-posture before nodding. "Uh- just the choco pies, yes." The young lad was slightly dissappointed in himself- it would only be another few seconds before he would have to pay and be gone, but he didn't want it to end.. .so soon. Minhyuk didn't even know why he wanted to stick around and talk to her, he just.. felt like
he needed to- though undeniably, he found her attractive, and just the slightest, funny and adorable. Minhyuk bit his bottom lip, unsure what to say to strike up a conversation between the two. "Was it...a nice dream-" As soon as he asked it, he felt SOOO stupid. What kind of person asks a stranger if they had a NICE DREAM?? Minhyuk wanted to bang his head against the metal counter, for the lamest in all lamest moments, this one was one of the top lamest thing to do.

@park minhyuk It was around 1AM, about 2 hours into her shift and for some odd reason that day she was a lot more tired and sleepier than normal - and normally, she was quite the night owl and found an odd joy in mopping up the floors at 3AM and rearranging the whole store at 5AM. Maybe it was the headache she had the day before that kept her from sleeping to her full potential, but after finishing all that her boss had asked her to do, she slowly found herself dozing off and before she knew it, she was already in wonderland, having some weird dream about holding hands with her favorite actor, Matt Damon.

Her fantasy soon came to an end as an unfamiliar voice shook her awake, immediately shooting up from her hunched position she quickly takes notice of the tall male in front of her eyes. He was young, probably not too much older than her, and she had to admit, his good looks left her a little flustered for a moment. "Oh, -" She muttered under her breath, quickly regaining her posture and wiping up that little bit of drool she hated to admit was there. "Sorry about that... uh, is that all you wanted? Did you find everything okay?" She hoped that he'd excuse her and pay peacefully, and also hoped that she didn't look unattractive in his eyes - because she was attractive in hers.

@kim jiho Park Minhyuk, dressed in a white oxford and dark skinny jeans that where torn in the knees and the thighs (not for style, but rather, they were torn from years of assisting his father do lifting work, since his father was rather old), walked down the steep compressed gravel road. His destination was the convenient store. He had just received his paycheek for the week, and his younger brother had diligently asking Minhyuk to buy him some choco pies. Though the young assistant chef could have just whipped up a few home-made choco pies himself, he wanted to make his brother happy. He had been doing well on his studies, and therefore, Minhyuk wanted to award him.

As soon as his foot stepped onto the linoleum flooring of the small corner convenient store, he made his way over to the snack section, his eyes searching for the red, shiny plastic the chocopies usually came in. Grabbing two off the rack, Minhyuk strolled over to the counter to pay. His eyes fell on the young female working behind the register. She was beautiful. She was perfect. She was...dozing off.. "Uhhh..Excuse ..Me??" Minhyuk said, each of his pauses making his head stoop lower to get a better view of the girl. She had drool on her chin. Minhyuk snorted at the sight. She was cute. With the gentlest push, Minhyuk nudged the sleeping beauty, hoping she wasn't those maniacs whom went crazy if you woke them up.
